Suni's POV

"Switch to stealth, and we'll review the mission perimeters." Aqualad said as he took lead, I touched the sun on my chest and my suit darkened, I then pulled the hood over my head to hide my bright red hair. Red hair, it's awesome . . . Unless your trying to hide. (This is true, I cannot hide from anyone because they instantly recognise my red hair cause I'm the only one in my grade with it that dark . . . And the other girl with red hair has it dyed black at this point in time so . . .)

"Perimeters?!" Oh no. "We don't need no stinking perimeters." KF retaliated, he of course had no trust towards Aqualad.

"It's re-con. We know what to do." Rob added in, obviously also annoyed and distrusting. Come on Kal, if there is a really good reason for you not telling us, say it now before everyone runs off.

"Kid, Robin." Aqualad cried.

"The three of us started this team because the justice league were keeping secrets from us." Rob replied, sounding genuinely angry at Kal.

"Or did you forget that like you forgot to tell us about he mole." Am I the only one not comfortable about the mole thing? I dunno maybe that's cause I was a suspect. Then again I guess that's understandable with my p- my thoughts were cut off when I was yanked my Rob. Well then I guess I'm following Rob and KF.

"Guys, don't you think we should hear Kal out, I mean I'm sure he has a rea-"

"How can you be defending him?!" KF interrupted me.

"I'm not saying what he did was right, I'm just saying that I'm sure he has a reason."

"Yeah, well his decision nearly got you killed!" Rob retaliated.

"I was sick, I couldn't defend myself, that's why I got in trouble. Tell me if you had been told about the mole, would you have trusted me?" I asked looking at them in the eye.

"Of course." They nothing cried together.

"Even with the fact that for some reason ivy saved me?" My eyes widened and I slapped my hand across my mouth as I realised what I said.

"What are you talking about?" KF, asked looking at me sceptically.

"Poison Ivy was the one that got me out of the lab." I sighed.

"But you said Batman did."

"No I didn't, I said batman got me once I was out."

"So what really happened?" Rob asked, I could hear the sadness in his voice, I guess cause I didn't tell them the whole truth.

"I don't exactly remember, cause I was knocked unconscious because of the beatings, and put into another room or building from Poison Ivy, then Batman came and got me and got me out of there because obviously it wasn't safe for my to be with her. And then I passed out from blood loss."

"So you didn't lie, you just didn't tell us the entire truth."

"I couldn't help it, Batman told me not to tell because he wanted to find out why she saved me, and how she knew where I was in the first place."

"Why didn't you say he told you not to tell?" Rob asked.

"Because I didn't think it was important whether or not I had a choice in the matter. And besides I've told you now so it doesn't matter." I sighed, I don't get it, just because someone told me not to tell them it's fine, but if it was my decision it's a different story. For all we know Batman could have ordered Kal not to tell us because he wanted us to keep the trust in the team. My thoughts were once again interrupted, but this time by Rob and Kid screaming my name and 'get out of the way' I turned around just in time to see a giant bird coming towards me, I put my hands up in an instant and created a firewall scaring the bird away. I could feel my once light hair become heavy as it turned into vines with my fear. I just stood there wide eyed until the boys came over to me and encouraged me to run. Well more like dragged me along until I snapped out of my daze.

"I thought vultures only ate dead meat."

"Well apparently we looked too tasty to wait for." I replied as we continued running, KF of course slow so he was beside us.

"Yeah, well these are some very proactive scavengers."

"Proactive and super sized." Rob complained. "You thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Cobra venom." KF replied, obviously I missed something big before I came into the team. I began to float as I felt myself tiring. Give me a break, I mean I'm still weak and I never was good at long distance running. I turned to see one of the birds coming a little to close for comfort, I conjured up a gust of wind to blow it away but in the process it blew off my hoodie, well I don't think were concentrating on stealth at the moment, so I'm good.

I caught up with the boys, and I noticed them both giving me odd looks. "What?"

"Your hair, it's vines?" KF replied.

"Fear." I stated simply. "Sorry, but I don't wanna become dinner for bunch of over sized birds, so excuse me for being slightly nervous."

"You right there Suni? You seem a little agitated easily at the mome-"

"I am perfectly fine, okay?" I cut Rob off.

I was thankfully saved from the boys prying when M'gann started the link. 'Should you really be giving us orders? And should you be following them?' Artie said clearly not feeling the aster. Damn it Dick, your rubbing off on me!

'Listen, please?' Well now Aqualads sounding desperate, listen people, maybe he has something important to say.

'Oh good, Aqualads voice in my head. I've so missed that.' Wally said, I looked over at him to see him rolling his eyes.

'Shut it Wallace!' I growled he looked over at me and I was glaring straight at him, he looked away quickly. Guess that showed him . . . Oh who am I kidding he'll do it again.

'Hey Kaldur, KF, Suni and I were attacked by giant vultures. Course since were moles you probably think we attacked ourselves.' Dick said angrily.

'Robin shut it! Let him explain. And besides, he never acused you.'

'He wouldn't tell you if he did. Super boy are you online or just pouting?' Come on is it "lets be against Kaldur" day?

'Busy, call back later!' Well then, wonder what he's fighting.

'Wait, do you need help SB?' I asked realising that us three probably wouldn't have been able to fight off the vultures alone.

'I can handle them.'

'Fine.' I sighed.

'What gets me is how nonchalant he is about no telling us.'

'He should be chalant, way chalant, extremely chalant.'

'How can we be a team if he doesn't trust us with his secrets?'

'Oh like any of us can talk.' I said before realising it.

'What are you talking about Suni?' Wally asked looking at me.

'Come on, Artie has secrets, I have secrets, obviously Rob does. And I can just feel the nervousness around M'gann so I know she has some. Unless you can tell me otherwise, give Kal a break' everyone was silent. 'See no one is denying me.'

'Still could he really think that me and Rob could be the mole? I mean we all started this team.'

'Thats just it Wally! You guys were never suspects. It was M'gann, Superboy, Artie and me. Because where the newbies, were the ones that you haven't known as long and could have been against you.' I looked over and glared at him, feeling my hair flicker in the dark as well as my eyes go black. I closed my eyes and turned around trying to take control of my anger.

'Suni you okay?' I heard Artie say across the link.

'Absolutly stinking fine.' I ground out.

'See, now look what you idiots have done! Why can't you trust us?'

'What we've done, you've forgotten who was keeping the secret about the mole.'

'Did you really think he could have told us about the mole, if he did then we wouldn't have trusted anyone.' I shouted coming to Kals defence again.

'Well now we don't know who to tr-'

'Enough! Captain Marvel has been captured and we must act as a team to save him.' Kaldur said. Getting impatient, but can you blame the guy.

'Under your leadership? I don't think s-'

'This is not up for debate. you all chose me to lead. When the mission is over, if you wish to select a new leader, I will happily step down. But until then I am in command.'

I looked over at Wally and Dick, I glared at them before walking forwards. We soon found a building in the centre of the woods. The three of us crouched down being hidden by the bushes. Rob pulled out his watch and KF put on his goggles while I lifted my hood back over my head.

'Ill fly over.' M'gann suggested over the mind link.

'Negatory, the field is stamped like a dome over the whole compound.' Couldn't he have just said there was a force field of some sought? No, I forgot, he has to be the smart one. I resisted the urge to slap my forehead.

'Pylons are insulated.' Rob says and turns to look at Kal. 'But one good shock could cause a momentary gap.'

'I see a target.' Artie commented.

'Then be ready to hit it, be ready all of you.' Kal said before walking forward, lifting his hands that were traced with electricity to cause the shock Rob said was needed for the gap. 'Now!'

Arty shot the arrow, and as expected it hit the target. We all came put of the bushes and begun walking towards the building, suddenly out of nowhere a bunch of monkeys came out.

"Take off their collars," Kal shouted. I swept a bunch up in vines before yanking the collars off them. Once the collars where off and they were no longer being controlled they ran for safety enforce we could even get back onto the original task a gorilla came out of the building carrying a weapon. I went to look at M'gann, but only saw a glimpse of her as she went into camouflage mode and I assume tried to sneak past him. My hopes of her getting past were cut short when the gorilla grabbed her and threw her to the ground.

"Get your paws off of her, you darn dirty ape." KF shouted as he tried to ram I to him but was just sent flying backwards.

"Wally!" I screamed looking at my friend go flying. "Okay, can I burn him now?"

"No, that might make the whole place go up in flames" Rob exclaimed as he shot his gadgets at the gorilla, of whom has no collar on? Okay then, so is he a pet instead of unwilling minion? I reached over my back for nothing but when I brought my hand back I had an arrow made of air constructed in my hand, suddenly and air bow appeared in my other hand and I shot it at the gorilla. It stumbles slightly from the force before turning to me and running towards me, I flew up to get out of the way. Thankfully before he could come much further M'gann levitated him and crashed him into a wall. It crumpled under his weight and he fell right threw to reveal another room and a . . . Brain? Well then today has been a strange line of events.

"It's the brain!" KF cried, oh, so it's not A brain it's THE brain. Well that makes more sense.

"I can see it's a brain."

"Not A brain THE brain." Wally and I said together.

"In the flesh, so to speak."

If you were flesh, you'd have to be human. I thought but heard chuckling behind me. "I said that out loud didn't i?"

"Sure did Suni." Wally said laughing.

I turned back to the brain, I could imagine he'd have an angry expression right now . . . If he could make an expression. "Mallah." He shouted and suddenly poles appeared from the ground and my limbs seem to loose all control and I fell to the ground along with everyone else. I think I'll keep the smart remarks to myself next time, then again, I thought I was just thinking it.

'Miss Martian Super Boy, now!' M'gann grabbed the remote from who I now know as Mallah and crushed it before Connor came through the wall along with a wolf follo- A WOLF?! He has a thing for picking up strays. Now that we were back up, Artie took the opportunity to notch an arrow and shoot it at Mallah, but it sadly just bounced off, she groaned in frustration at the loss of results.

Mallah turned to SB who smirked in response as he begun to speak. "Try it, I hate monkeys."

Mallah made a move to attack but the brain stopped him. "No Mallah, this will not be our waterloo." I would say this isn't a battle, but it kinda is, just not on that large a scale. "Au revior, mes Amis."

"We ain't your friends freak!" I said while glaring at him, but my flare turned into a shocked expression as a bunch of tools began to appear out of his . . . Body? Can you even call it that?

"Get down!" Wally shouted. I looked over at what the brain was making and it appeared to be some sought of detona- oh sugar. I lifted my arms to create a wall of air in between us, it should take most of the impact. I waited for impact when the lights turned off.

"Really?! First he calls us his friends and then he makes us think were going to be blown up but it's just a light switch. la prochaine fois que je vois ce cul que je vais le tuer. ha comment vous le faites comme ça, im aide votre langue pour vous insulte, vous cerveau stupide." (next time i see that ass i am going to kill him. ha how do you like that, im using your language to insult you, you stupid brain.)

"Suni, stop ranting in French." Artie groaned at I finally stopped insulting the villain.

"He started it." I muttered.

"Look, I need to know, why did you keep the mole Intel a secret?" Rob asked stepping forward.

"The source of the tip was sports master." He said calmly. What the actual hell.

"What? You can't trust him!" Oh dear, Arties past is going to catch up to her soon. I have her a concerned look before walking up to her and placing my hand on her shoulder. She looked down at me and gave me a small smile, but her eyes still help worry and anger.

"I did not, it seemed likely that it was just to divide the team with false information. And given how this mission went. He almost succeeded. " he said sighing.

"But you had to consider it might be true." Rob said looking towards the ground.

"Yes, as leader I did. In which case I did not wish to alert the traitor. Which is why I did not say anything."

"See! I told you he would have had a good reason!" I said smirking at the two boys, who were giving me sheepish looks.

"Hate to say it, but you were right Suni."

"I am still prepared to step down."

"Of course, and give the role to who? Wall-man? Well I don't need to explain. Rob? Sorry but your a little young and you have to many extra curriculums as it is. Artie, M'gann, Connor and me are too new in this biz to take control." I said smirking in Kals direction, I could feel a glare in the back of my head, and I turned to see Dick glaring at Kal, wonder why?

"All in favour of keeping Aqualad as leader?" Rob asked, and everyone raised their hands in response.

"Fine, I accept the burden until Robin is old enough to take it off my shoulders."

"Guess that all worked out." Captain Marvel said from behind us, oops, completely forgot about him.

"See you soon." He said as he gave a small wave.

"Wait your not coming back with us?"

"Nope gotta fly." He said and rose up in the air before disappearing.

"So, what we gonna call him?" Wally asked looking at the wolf at Connors side.

"What's wrong with wolf?"

"Generic, but acceptable."

"Nothing, as long as you don't find another wolf and want to give it the same name." I said as I smirked at him.

"Hey Suni, what was with the ranting in another language? And what exactly did you say?" M'gann asked looking at me with an eyebrow raised.

"Hey just cause I had a deprived childhood. Doesn't mean I'm not smart and can't learn a few languages. And I was basically calling him an ass and saying that I was insulting him in his own language. And expect me to rant in random languages when I'm mad at something. That's why those three weren't surprised. Their used to it now." I smiled at M'gann. "Anyway, let's get back now."

Okay so you like, oh and sorry to say but I won't be updating at often because school is a pain in the backside and I have a heap of assignments, that was why this one was so long. But I will try and make then longer to make up for the waits.
