Training?

Suni/Sonya's POV

We started walking towards the training area, I had no idea what to expect really. I had been in my thoughts that I hadn't realised we were already at the training grounds.

"Hey, Suni?" I heard someone ask as they waved their hand in front of my face, I looked
towards them to see it was Dick, or Robin? I have no idea what to call him now.

"Hey, um Dick? What am I supposed to call you now?"

"Well since you have spilt my identity to everyone call me whatever you want."

"Okay." I smiled at him. "So will I be duelling someone or whatever you wanna call it."

"Yeah, so who wants to go against her first?" Dick asked while looking around the room.

"I will." M'gann stepped forward smiling at me.

"Okay, so Suni aga-" I cut him off.

"Wait a minute. M'gann's a martin correct?"

Everyone looked at me oddly. "Yes." They all replied slowly.

"A Martians weakness is fire, right?"

"Yes." They all said again.

"Yeah, not the best idea for me to go up against M'gann then."

M'gann stepped back as Robin looked at me. "So you can control fire?"

"I guess you could call it that. But yeah it would probably be best for me to go against someone that wouldn't go down easy cause I haven't quite got the grasp of my powers yet." I smiled sheepishly at them.

"Okay then I guess you could go against Superboy." Robin said, slightly unsure.

"Sure." I smiled as he gave me a worried look. Superboy came onto the arena and took a
fighting stance. I was about to as well, but stopped and turned to face the rest of the team. "By the way, ignore the hair." I smiled at them.

Artie being the first one to speak. "What do you mean?"

I sighed. "You'll find out soon enough, but I can't control it, it happens every time." I then
turned back to face superboy and got into a fighting stance. I was fine for now, but as soon as he started to run towards me I could no longer feel my hair on my neck and a slight amount of heat surround my head. That and the small gasps coming from the team told me my hair was on fire. Supey gave a couple of seconds of hesitation, his mistake. I smiled at him, and the fight began.

Dicks/Robins POV

"By the way, ignore the hair." She smiled at us, what the hell is that supposed to mean. I was about to ask but Artemis beat me to it.

"What do you mean?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

Suni sighed. "You'll find out soon enough, but I can't control it, it happens every time." She
turned back to face Superboy as she got into a fighting stance, which I really had no idea how she was supposed to go against him. As soon as Superboy started running towards her, her hair was alight. I guess that was what she meant by ignore the hair, I thought as the whole team gasped.

I was waiting for her to move, or use her powers against him but she wasn't moving an
inch. I could see Superboy slowing down slightly as if he wasn't sure if he should keep coming towards her but he did. At the last second she slid down and kicked at his legs taking him off balance slightly, she stood up behind him and gave him a kick in the back, it was at that point it became a full fight. They were both giving each other full on punches but each managed to get out of the way in time. She had to do a back handspring to get out of the way, and she lost her footing falling onto the ground. Superboy came running to her and she squealed before flying up in the air, we all looked at her, and she smiled at us. She moved her hands in a swift movement and Superboy couldn't move any longer as he was tangled in very thick vines and tree roots, Suni came floating down at took all the plants off Superboy. She smiled at us as we all have her a dumbfounded expression as her hair became normal and she acted like nothing had happened.

"I thought you said you could control fire?" Artemis said, utterly shocked.

"I can."

"But you didn't. You used plants."

"Well let's say that I can control the elements. Fire." She smiled as her hair caught alight.
"Air." She said and made herself float up. "Earth." A vine grew and she picked a flower off it. "And water." She said and her hair became liquid.

"But I though you said you didn't have proper control over your powers?" Wally said, as he
noticed that she had perfect control over them.

"Well I do but I don't. I can control them, but so can my emotions."

I thought about what she said for a while. "Oh I see you were threatened by Superboy
when he came running at you, and your hair went on fire, you couldn't stop that from happening."

"Precisely, and that also happens when I get mad, and if I get sad enough my hair turns to
water, and if I am scared it turns to vines." She smiled at us.

"Ha, you can't hide your emotions anymore!" I grinned at her. All of the team but Wally and
Artemis gave me confused looks.

"Um, what exactly do you mean?" Asked Kaldur.

"Well the only way that you can ever tell how she is truly feeling is by looking at the colour
of her eyes." Artemis answered for me.

"Mind you it's really awkward when you guys get in my face to see if I'm lying." Sonya
said, while fake sulking.

"So, you're eyes change colour?"

"Yes, yes they do M'gann. But I have no clue why." She said while shrugging her shoulders.

"They are usually a green-grey, but are green with red starburst when frustrated, black with
red starburst when mad, blue when depressed, green with brown starburst when sad." I stated. When I opened my eyes I noticed everyone looking at me oddly.

"That's just creepy dude, I mean, why would you memorise what colours my eyes change
to?" Sonya said while taking one step back.

"Well there's no other way to tell when you need help, or are upset about something."

"Wait, how do you know my eyes are blue when I am depressed, I usually run away when
that happens."

"Well because of that one time." I said scratching the back of my head.

"Okay, anyway let's talk 'bout you guys, how about you M'gann?"

"Okay, what exactly am I supposed to say?"

"Well I don't know much about you so where do you come from? Family? All that kinda
stuff."

"Okay, well I am a um, Martian from Mars, my uncle is Martian manhunter. Um what else do I say?"

"Well what are you powers?"

"Well same as uncle J'honn really. So telepathic all that stuff."

"Cool." Sonya said grinning. Then again when isn't she smiling. "So what about you Connor?" She said looking over to Connor.

"Well um, I am Supermans clone." He didn't really want to say anymore after that, and I
don't blame him, but Suni's response was not what I was expecting.

"It's okay, I'm sure that being a clone isn't all that bad, and I am sure that superman will
except you eventually." She smiled at him.

"What, how did you?"

"I have absolutely no idea, I could just tell what your emotions were and I figured out why
you would have those emotions." She smiled up at him.

The rest of the day was spent showing Suni around the place, but soon she had to go
home, I was glad she was back. I couldn't wait to see her at school again.

Oh and yes I know that Wally Doesnt go to Gotham academy but in this this he does And pretend Artie has gone to it the whole time.
