WARNING: Violence may occur in roleplays. Topics of pollution, cruelty, death, and so on will be involved in roleplays.

Info: So, as you may come to find out, there are two characters on this page. If you have romance on the mind, then you are able to date one, the other, or both.

Name: Indigo Nell

Age: 21 to 24 years old {Depends on roleplay}

Species: Blue Jay

Gender: Male {He/Him}

Height: 5'10"

Sexuality: Bisexual and Polyamorous

Appearance:

Personality:

Indigo is normally a distant individual who seems to display a lack of trust around newly met individuals. He tends to speak his mind a lot, though he tries to make sure to think things over before giving any sort of reaction. Sometimes Indigo may blurt out his thoughts with no thoughts behind it. This can come across as him being blunt or harsh. It's partially unintentional. There's only rare cases where he fully intends to be blunt or harsh.

If you so manage to befriend Indigo, he will try to act as a supportive friend, though his support is much more easily displayed through him defending others, whether that be vocally defending, or physically defending. This is because Indigo tends to involve himself in situations that include violence or fighting.

When in a romantic relationship, Indigo tries to make sure that his partner is comfortable and safe. Indigo tends to devote a lot of time and attention to any of his partners, sometimes to the point where he forgets to take care of himself. Indigo has his own boundaries, and these boundaries are firmly set. He won't make any exceptions, and he doesn't pick favorites over who can and can't go against these set boundaries.

Indigo is decent at fighting. While he might not physically look strong, his strength is shown in other forms, such as the use of his talons, or the use of his claws for nails, or pecking someone, or biting, etc. He has plenty of natural weapons. But just in case, Indigo carries a pocket knife with him at all times.

Likes:

As a sweet treat, Indigo likes to eat Saskatoon Berry Pie. If that is unavailable, then he will also happily eat Butter Tarts.

In regards to a meal he may favor, Indigo likes Salmon.

Indigo highly enjoys performing parkour.

Indigo likes being able to fly.

Indigo loves to create murals of different things, though he tends to enjoy creating murals of things in relation to nature.

Indigo likes to cook for himself and others.

Fishing. He might not like swimming, but Indigo does enjoy fishing every now and then.

Dislikes:

The government, and law enforcements(aka police, cops, officers, etc). Let's just say that Indigo tends to do a lot of intruding, thievery and non permitted graffiti. Oh and the government doesn't like the reoccurring theme in Indigo's murals and graffiti.

Indigo doesn't like soup.

Indigo doesn't like tea.

Indigo doesn't enjoy swimming in water. At most, Indigo would stand in water that would be at his waist. Under certain circumstances, Indigo may swim. But for the most part, he doesn't.

Being restrained to any extent.

Oil spills.

Someone physically touching him along the mid to upper spine or around the bases of his wings, for many reasons really. Indigo can elaborate on this later on.

Other:

Indigo works as a freelance artist. His art is mostly murals or spray paintings.

Name: Bonsai Turner

Age: 21 to 24 years old {Depends on roleplay}

Species: Lilac-Breasted Roller

Gender: Male {He/Him}

Height: 5'8"

Sexuality: Bisexual {Male Lean}

Appearance:

Personality:

Bonsai is often considered a gentle and friendly being, especially when it comes to meeting new people. Bonsai often tries to make sure that his friend Indigo doesn't do stupid things, and normally acts as the one to reason with others, all to ensure nobody does anything that'll tick off the government. Despite these efforts made by Bonsai, it seems that Indigo still gets into trouble. Bonsai is also known for his kind nature, always offering to help others in passive ways.

He often refuses to use violence, but when he does, it's often non-lethal. Thanks to a lack of physical strength, Bonsai will frequently lose fights. There's rare chances he may win, but it would either have to be against a less experienced individual, or he'd have to have backup.

Befriending Bonsai is easy, as he seems to trust others rather easily. As stated before, Bonsai will display kindness and friendliness. Bonsai will happily chat more with you once you've befriended him.

In a romantic relationship, Bonsai may often give gifts to show appreciation or to show how much he may like someone. Those gifts may be trinkets, snacks, etc. Bonsai also show a lot of physical affection, most of which consists of cuddling and snuggling. If personal space is desired, Bonsai will happily give personal space. Bonsai however doesn't know how to set his own personal boundaries, which can often lead to him getting into bad relationships.

Likes:

Bonsai likes gardening. It's become a hobby of his, and benefits him in his work.

As a sweet treat, Bonsai likes to eat Koeksister.

Bonsai really enjoys spicy foods. Bonsai has a surprisingly high tolerance to spice.

Bonsai generally likes braai foods. But a more specific meal he enjoys consuming every now and then is Jollof rice with any form of meat on the side.

Bonsai enjoys doing aerial tricks when flying, most of which consists of rolling through the air. This can be a display intended to attract a partner, or it can be to impress others. It entirely depends on the context. It can also be something done when trying to get away from a threat.

Scavenging. Bonsai has proven to be rather successful at scavenging for natural food.

Dislikes:

Bonsai isn't all that fond of the government or law enforcement, but his feelings against these things aren't enough to consistently get him into trouble.

Bonsai doesn't like soda. He has a strong dislike against the taste and the carbonation in such drinks.

Winter. Bonsai isn't used to colder weather, so whenever winter comes around, it feels like a cold slap in the face.

Bonsai doesn't like swimming far out in the ocean. He fears looking down in the water and not being able to see the bottom of the ocean.

Oil spills.

His plants dying. Bonsai takes good care of his plants, so when they die, he worries that he did something wrong.

Other:

Bonsai runs a small plant shop that sells a small variety of plants, like flowers, herbs, fruit plants, vegetable plants, seeds, bonsai trees, and other small trees that bear fruits and other.

Bonsai has a great amount of knowledge on medicinal herbs and basic knowledge on treating injuries.

Scenario One:

You live in a large canyon that held a decent population of other beings. The streets are often crowded with people, though the only times paths are ever cleared are for law enforcement, who are often giving chase to someone they thought looked suspicious. Everyone tries to avoid being the next target. This would include yourself.

Time and time again, you've seen a particular blue jay getting chased through both the air and the streets. And a fair amount of those times, this individual was caught. Why would they act out against the law enforcements so frequently? Well, you never really had the courage to ask, as the law enforcements admittedly scared you, and you worried that interacting with the blue jay would only get you into trouble.

One day, you were wandering down the street, and as per usual, it was crowded. Well, at some point, you passed by a law enforcement officer who was talking to someone via intercom. They were speaking about how they'd lost track of the blue jay again. You shrugged off what you'd overheard, and continued on your way.

Much further along, you would overhear another conversation that came from a small shop that had been made by being carved into the wall of the canyon. The shop in question seemed to be a plant shop. There was a gap where a window would normally be, but it was covered by a hand made curtain, preventing anyone from peering inside the shop at the moment. There was a similar hand made curtain which covered the doorway of the place, preventing any passerby from peering inside.

You would listen to the conversation from outside the covered doorway. "I got what you were asking for. I'm gonna have to stay here for a bit though. Law enforcements are still looking." One voice said. Another voice answered, "You can stay here as long as you need. And again, I thank you for getting me this." A pause occurred. "I don't want to encourage your behavior, but I want to reward you for your effort, so I'm gonna give you some money as a thanks..." The second voice soon said. Now seemed like an appropriate time to enter. It sounded like an illegal trade of things.. or that's what you thought it was.

You..? {You start}

Scenario Two: {Your goal is to escape the country.}

You have made the ultimate journey across the country with hopes of reaching the border and ultimately leaving. You could be traveling by foot, by vehicle, or by air(please inform me of your chosen form of travel). One way or another, the journey was problematic. For one, a good amount of the time, the land was made up of a mix of a desert and a savanna. There was hardly any trees. Whenever you did come across civilization, it was either small trailerparks, or areas which were under strict control by the government. You avoided places that had any form of law enforcements, out of fear of being caught in your attempt to escape the country.

At some point, you had to make a pit stop at a gas station. If you owned a vehicle, then you could fuel up your vehicle. But the main reason you felt the need to stop was to get yourself some food, maybe some snacks, and possibly some tools. You would enter the gas station, browsing the variety of foods available. In the store, you saw two other customers. A blue jay, and a lilac-breasted roller. They were browsing things too, and the blue jay seemed to be carrying a little basket of things to get. They seemed to have a few sandwiches, some bottles of water, and a small variety of snacks. Another thing found in the basket was a container of.. worms? Were these guys on a fishing trip? This was the only reason anyone would get worms.

You decided to focus on your own shopping. You would gather whatever foods and snacks you desired, and carried it all in a basket. As you approached the check out, the two avians would finish paying for their things and shortly exited the gas station. You would check out next, and then went outside after you finished paying.

Towards the left side of the gas station, you could spot the two avians once more. Perhaps they were also on the run? Maybe it would be a good idea to lightly conversate with them. You..?

Scenario Three:

You've known Bonsai and Indigo for some time, to the point where you'd consider yourself to be friends. The three of you often met up in Bonsai's plant shop, as it seemed like the most comfortable place to discuss things- like how bad the pollution was getting, how much more frequent oil spills were becoming, and other stuff that may be completely random. It felt nice to have others around who were willing to listen.

Well, every now and then, Indigo wouldn't turn up to the small meet ups, and whenever he did, he was found to be beaten up- but Indigo often waved away any questions, showing that whatever he was dealing with wasn't all that important. That or he didn't want to talk about it. Over the past few days, Indigo hadn't been showing up. At first, Bonsai had provided the assurance that Indigo would return after a few days, because he was off doing something 'very important'. But, it was obvious with each day that Bonsai was getting more fidgety, nervous, perhaps anxious..? Today was the fifth day of your friend's disappearance, and there was still no sign of Indigo. When you arrived at Bonsai's shop, you would find that all of the plants were gone, and Bonsai was packing a bag.

"I f~cking told him that he shouldn't do it.." Bonsai grumbled to himself. Upon spotting you, Bonsai would take a moment to stop his packing and explained the situation, "Indigo had left in order to steal some very valuable, military grade technology. He told me he'd give me a call through the nearby phone booth to let me know that he was coming back. But, he hasn't called. He should've called two days ago, but he hasn't. So, I think Indigo was caught... probably. I'm leaving to go find him.. and hopefully save him from what he's gotten himself into..." Bonsai stared at you briefly before asking, "Do you.. want to come with me..?"

You..?
