You don't have to read this chapter if you don't want to, but I'd highly recommend it because lot's of information on the characters and stuff in here like:

Species of shifter, status (what they do and where they belong), their animal appearance, what they look like human, their personality, their species general personality (how the majority of the species behaves) and some of their backstories.

Eustass Kidd

Species of shifter: Wolf

Status: Alpha (affliction: Kidd pack)

Animal appearance: Blood red fur with huge broad shoulders, long bushy, unmanaged tail and he is an above average size of...you know what just imagine a wolf only 2 1/2 the usual size, basically he's freaking huge, like the wolves in twilight (like the size of a small horse).

Human appearance: Extremely tall, pale skinned male with a huge frame with dozens of muscles and scars, has reddish black painted lips with untamed blazing red hair just like his fur, lacks eyebrows but nobody dares to point that out, his eyes are the color of rust and he has a permanent scowl on his face that intimidates the hell out of anyone near him.

Personality: He has a very fiery personality, he is easy to anger and never hides his emotions (unless he doesn't wanna be seen as a wimp), he is also quite arrogant because no one dares to talk back or stand up to him, (save for Killer, Luffy and the exception of a few others) but this also makes him feel bored and disappointed that there is no one with the guts to speak up to him, he loves challenges.

Backstory: Kidd's mother was an omega and his dad was thrown out of the pack and became an outcast when he was born, the other pups teased and bullied him for being the son of a trashbag and a doormat, thus he became a vicious thug, snarling and beating the hell out of anyone who tried to step all over him, at the age of fifteen he literally fought his way to the alpha position and made Killer -who was his only friend growing up- his beta.

Killer

Species of shifter: Wolf

Status: Beta and advisor (affliction: Kidd pack)

Animal appearance: He has a bulky frame in his shoulders but around his waist it is a bit thin and agile shaped, he has a permanent muzzle always on his face so nobody knows what's underneath, his fur is a bit shaggy and thick making it look fluffy and soft, his fur is the color of dulled gold.

Human appearance: Tall, but not as tall as Kidd, with wide shoulders and rippling muscles, but again not as much as Kidd, with the muzzle formed into a face mask covering his entire face, his waist is much skinnier than his chest by far giving him an almost cartoonish character appearance, but not enough to make him unattractive.

Personality: He is a very quiet character and is seen by society as a very bloodthirsty individual, but in reality he is actually quite the pacifist, he constantly worries and watches over Kidd, like a mother figure, he scolds him when he does something wrong and lectures him when he does something stupid, everyone in the pack looks up to him as that one responsible person in the higher ranks.

Vinsmoke Sanji

Species of shifter: Wolf

Status: Beta (affliction: Strawhat herd)

Animal appearance: He has a dirty blond colored fur coat and is only barely above the average size of wolves, his tail is straight and managed quite well as so are his paws, which he likes to keep clean and undamaged, his fur is thick in the front covering one of his almond shaped eyes.

Human appearance: He is an average height male with an average healthy frame, his right eye is covered by his blond hair and has a small goatee on his chin.

Personality: He is quite the womanizer (not just in mating season but constantly), he is actually kind of suave and cool when he isn't fawning over women, but ironically, is actually hiding the fact that he loves to fight Zoro a little too much.

Roronoa Zoro

Species of shifter: Wolf

Status: Beta (affliction: Strawhat herd)

Animal appearance: He has moss green fur and is nearly twice the size of an average wolf, he has an old slash scar on his left eye and a large snout, he has three golden earrings on one ear and has a matted unmanaged tail to go along with his bedhead looking fur, at the end of his paws are extremely sharp lethal claws.

Human appearance: He is a bit above the average height with a frame that's a tad bigger as well to go with it, and to top it all off, to replace the loss of huge claws, he has a habit to switch them with three swords instead.

Personality: He is a very layed back character who often is found sleeping or drinking (he never gets drunk though :P) and is often scolded by his herd for 'slacking off', but dispite his sleepy nature and tendency to get lost, he is very reliable and is somehow always there to help his kin, even if he 'hates' Sanji.

Universal wolf personality: All wolves are proud creatures and demand to be mostly on the top of things making them very possessive partners, no matter what gender, all wolves are commonly seen as the "dominant" partner in mating season, when they see something they want, they do everything and anything in their power and determination to make it their's fair and square, be it treasure, territory, status, or a possible mate.

Tony Tony Chopper

Species of shifter: Reindeer

Status: Doctor (affliction: Strawhat herd)

Animal appearance: He has short brown fur with two small symmetrical horns, he has a long snout with two childish innocent cocoa brown eyes and a blue nose, he is considered quite small for his species.

Human appearance: His human appearance is actually still quite beastly due to his rare condition, and looks almost like a monster, he has a ring of fur around his neck and has a thick wide shoulder length similar to that of a gorilla, he is a few inches above average height, and his nose is still blue.

Personality: He is very kind and has impressive medical intelligence for his age (12 years old) he is a bit of a coward and has a tendency to hide and overreact when spooked but is a very good friend, he also has a tendency to become very cold and calm during when he is tending to others wounds or other medical needs.

Universal reindeer personality: Reindeer are known to be very meek and mild and are very caring and considerate towards their partner, they are one of the only that often mate with the same species and are quite sensitive, though alpha reindeer are known to be fierce, cold hearted and aggressive.

Usopp

Species of shifter: Bulldog

Status: Sniper (affliction: Strawhat herd)

Animal appearance: An average small brown bulldog with smooth fur and black blotchy spots all over his dbody, he also has puffy black fur around his head making him look like he has hair.

Human appearance: Almost lankyish frame with olive tanned skin and puffy black hair, average height and frame.

Personality: He is very cowardly and lies a lot but is also very dependable, when push comes to shove and his friends need him he always turns around and fights to the finish even if it looks like he's the one that's going to lose.

Universal bulldog personality: Bulldogs are known to be fierce and stubborn and will always accept a challenge to fight especially to impress a potential mate or other pack members, they often lie to scare off more powerful opponents and will always flee if all else fails.

Nami

Species of shifter: Cat

Status: Thief and advisor (affliction: Strawhat herd)

Animal appearance: A bit more thin and lean than considered average, orange with peach stripes cat with huge brown doe eyes with short whiskers and stubby tail.

Human appearance: An average height orange haired female with a little more than average sized breasts and thin waist giving her a stereotypical supermodel appearance.

Personality: She loves money, money and even more money, she tends to be a bit hot headed when others anger her and attacks when she feels threatened or frightened, she tends to 'rat out' her friends when in a mess but she never dares to betray them and is proven to be very loyal.

Universal cat personality: Cats are known to be easily agitated and are often cranky and greedy, which makes them a not so sought out partner, but when there is someone who can pair up with a cat without triggering them they gain a very loyal mate.

Monkey D. Luffy

Species of shifter: Gorilla

Status: Herd leader (affliction: Strawhat herd)

Animal appearance: He is a fairly small coal black gorilla with a huge scar on his chest and a smaller one under left eye.

Human appearance: A little smaller than average teenager with short black hair and bright brown wide eyes and a goofy grin to match his suprisingly well built frame.

Personality: He is very childish and happy-go-lucky, he surrounds himself with many powerful friends and loves company which makes him a bit clingy or obnoxious sometimes, in the heat of battle he is very serious and even considered wise when the time calls for it, his personality also suggests that he is asexual but not entirely aromantic.

Universal gorilla personality: Gorillas are considered very playful, mature, and protective partners, they usually mate with someone they know well instead of someone they've met over mating season unlike most shifters, and will always be there to back up those they consider their kin.

Backstory: Luffy grew up in a very dangerous and corrupted environment where shifters were very racist and cruel to each other, so after meeting the famous 'red hair' gorilla Shanks, Luffy promised himself that he would make a herd of anyone who was considered a black sheep of their kind and make a group of nakama to take on the world together just like his hero.

Nico Robin

Species of shifter: Peacock

Status: Historian (affliction: Strawhat herd)

Animal appearance: An average sized peacock with many different shades of purple feathers.

Human appearance: A tall mature woman with longish black hair and mesmerizing crystal blue eyes, with a little over average sized breasts and small waist.

Personality: She is very humble and quiet but that doesn't mean she's not assertive, she has a kind of morbid imagination and finds it quite humorous when her friends get into trouble, though she's always there to get them out of it.

Universal peacock personality: Peacocks are very pretty but are immediately cast away as potential mates for their huge egos, they are also very dramatic, flamboyant and sometimes even cruel if their ego is fed too much self esteem, when they're interested in a potential mate they aren't afraid to play dirty to get them.

Cutty Flam (nicknamed Franky)

Species of shifter: Bear

Status: Mechanic, architect and builder (affliction: Strawhat herd)

Animal appearance: A huge electric blue bear that wears dark sunglasses with superrr wide shoulders and two huge dark blue star tattoos on each of his massive wrists.

Human appearance: A very tall and wide shouldered man with small legs and huge upper frame.

Personality: He is very flamboyant, loud, cheery, and is very confident in himself, though he has a soft guy side and often tears up at other people's misfortune or pasts.

Universal bear personality: Bears are very tough and manly and are seen by interested mates as 'hard boiled' They are publicly seen as kind of dismissive or cold towards their partner but they are in fact quite attentive to them.

Species of shifter: UNKNOWN (he never shifts to animal form)

Status: Musician (affliction: Strawhat herd)

Animal appearance: UNKNOWN

Human appearance: Very tall and very thin with pale white skin and boney appendages giving him a ghostly appearance.

Personality: Very jolly, likes to tell bone jokes often and is a bit of a pervert but he is good company for those who like a talkative people person (and doesn't mind his bad manners).

Trafalgar D. Water Law

Species of shifter: Snow leopard

Status: Surgeon (currently under the care of the Strawhat herd)

Animal appearance: Above average, and is considered to be easily double the size, he has pure snow white fur paired with shining black spots, he has long whiskers to match his small, adorable, flat, round snout, he isn't considered bulky but has a fair amount of muscles along with his lean, skinny frame giving him a very 'sexy' appearance.

Human appearance: He is a bit taller than the average male with smooth cinnamon shaded skin covered in tribal themed black tattoos, his human form has a good amount of muscle but huge lack in body hair except for on his face where he has good symmetrical side burns with a small soul patch, his eyes are the color of bright silver with small bags matching his midnight blue hair giving him a intelligent, lean and sexy appearance.

Personality: He is cold, quiet and emotionless when facing others and usually keeps on a well done poker face, but when surrounded by people he trusts, he is more honest, talkative and 'emotional', only those who've seen him without his mask or got to know him know that in fact he actually has a pretty fiery and very mischievous personality and isn't afraid to speak his mind.

Universal snow leopard personality: Snow leopards are the most sought after partners because of their high intellect, attractive appearance, intoxicating scents of many varieties, and 'mischievous' nature, they attract many interested potential mates with their doting personalities and thus forces them into hiding because they are also known to be antisocial, and unlike other species' snow leopards are extremely hard to impress and get noticed by so they don't mate often, but when a snow leopard is interested in a potential partner the leopard will be very affectionate and loving towards it's partner as long as they keep the leopard happy and are attentive to them.

Backstory: Law was born in a town of snow leopards high in the northern chilly mountains, one day some hunters stumbled upon the town and burnt it to the ground, killing all the innocent townspeople for their pelts and to sell a few alive for high prices as pets, after the incident there was a large drop in the snow leopard population and Law quickly found himself constantly chased around by rabid and/or obsessed potential mates, finally he found the Strawhats who were the first to not try to flirt or tackle him into the ground, after getting to know him, Luffy decided to let Law hide away from the world in his territory for as long as he wished, Law never left after that and has remained by their side to this day.
