Welcome to the very first week of the Fur and Feathers Book Club! I'm really excited to get this started. I hope it will be as fun as I want it to be.

Just a quick reminder of the rules - read and comment on two chapters of your Mate's book, leaving a decent number of inlines and a summary comment. You must also read one chapter of the Weekly Star, even if you are also their Mate for this week.

If you cannot complete assignments for this week, just PM this account and ask for an extension. If you haven't completed an assignment by the end of this week, with no reason why, I'll be scratching a big X next to your name. Please do complete them. You don't want to be punished.

If you would like to take a week off (or two or three weeks) then also PM me. But before that week starts.

Once you've completed an assignment, please remember to comment at the given place stating which chapters you have read (Done, Chapters 1 and 2). Otherwise, I won't know you've done it. If you're a Busy-Bee, comment next to your name.

Remember, we are all friendly animal writers here. It is ok to give constructive criticism, but don't be mean.
