Beauty and the Animatronic (Chapter Fifty)

You cuddled up to the giant bear that Freddy had won for you. The bear was big enough to where you could just lay on it instead of the foam mattresses. Foxy and Baby sat on the foam mattresses, watching Ballora dance around. Freddy sat on the edge of the stage with his feet dangling off onto the floor. He sighed as he was deep in thought and Bon-Bon's ears twitched.

"What's up, Freddy?" Bon-Bon asked.

"I can't talk about it here," Freddy mumbled.

"Then, let's go to the Breaker Room," Bon-Bon whispered and jumped off Freddy's shoulder.

Freddy stood up and followed Bon-Bon as he scurried over to the door. You looked up at Freddy questioningly as he walked across the room. He opened the door to the Breaker Room and Bon-Bon hopped in. Freddy stepped into the room and closed the door behind him.

"Now, what is it?" Bon-Bon chirped.

"I want to do something special for (Y/N)", Freddy admitted.

"Like what?" Bon-Bon asked.

"Well, you remember a few days ago, when (Y/N) was talking about the dream she had?" Freddy began.

"Nightmare. And yeah?" Bon-Bon replied.

"Remember when she was talking about how I was wearing this 'cute' suit and tie, and we danced together?" Freddy added.

"Yeah, that was before everything went dark." Bon-Bon nodded.

"Well, I want to make that real--the beautiful candles and all," Freddy told him.

"Why would you want to make that real? She was crying," Bon-Bon objected.

"No, I mean the nice part," Freddy murmured.

"Oh, yeah! That sounds cute!" Bon-Bon giggled.

"But, I have no idea how I'm gonna do that." Freddy sighed.

"You don't need to worry about it. Let the experts handle this," Bon-Bon crowed.

"And who's that?" Freddy wondered, and Bon-Bon sighed.

"Ballora, Baby, Foxy, and I. Who else?" Bon-Bon bragged.

"But, what do I do?" Freddy mentioned.

"You just keep (Y/N) busy," Bon-Bon convinced him.

"Okay," Freddy replied.

"If you know what I mean," Bon-Bon snickered, and Freddy blushed.

"What do you mean?" you asked as you leaned on the doorway.

"(Y/N)! What- What are you doing in here?" Freddy stammered as he scratched the back of his neck.

"What all did you hear?" Bon-Bon fretted.

"I heard that I need to be kept busy," you commented.

"Oh, phew," Bon-Bon sighed.

"And why's that?" you sneered as you pushed off the doorway and walked towards them.

"Um--"

"I was wanting to go out with the rest, and since none of us know how to drive, you'd have to drive us there. And then Freddy said he'd feel bad if you didn't get to come in with us, and I told him that he could just hang out with you," Bon-Bon explained.

"Oh, aww," you giggled.

"So, will you drive us out?" Bon-Bon pleaded.

"Sure. Just get ready, and I'll take you," you chuckled.

"Yay!" Bon-Bon cheered and crawled to the doorway. "Everyone! Get ready!"

"For what?" Ballora wondered.

"Um . . ."

"Bon-Bon wants to hang out, but he doesn't want me there, so I'm only driving you there. Wait, why don't you want me to go?"

"Uh--"

"Oh, is it because you guys are like a squad, since you all have been through everything together? I get it. I can just hang out at the library. OOH, I should bring my book," you added.

"Oh, but I don't want you to be alone," Freddy confessed.

"No, I'm fine. I can just read," you told him.

"Yeah, no, let Freddy go with you," Bon-Bon advised.

"No, you guys are fine--"

"We don't mind."

"I'm okay--"

"Just let Freddy stay with you!" Bon-Bon barked.

"O-kay, jeez," you mumbled defensively. "Where do you guys wanna go?"

"The--"

"Why don't we--"

"Market- I mean . . . The coffee shop?" Bon-Bon interrupted Foxy.

"Oh, that sounds nice," you stated.

"Yeah, well, you can't come!" Bon-Bon snapped.

"Oh," you croaked.

"I mean, I'm sorry. I just . . ." Bon-Bon sighed and groaned, "Let's go."

~ ~ ~ ~

"So, I really wouldn't mind being alone," you told Bon-Bon, and Freddy looked at you, slightly offended. "I mean, it's not that I don't want you with me, Freddy. It's just that I'd- . . . Never mind."

"How do we tell when you guys are done?" Freddy wondered.

"Um, first of all, hand us the wallet," Bon-Bon said, on Foxy's hand.

"Right," you mumbled and grabbed it from your pocket.

"Now, where will you guys be?" Bon-Bon asked.

"Freddy?" you murmured.

"I don't- Wherever you want to go," Freddy replied.

"The library," you said.

"Okay, we'll meet you there," Bon-Bon noted.

"Bye, guys," you muttered.

The rest waved at you and Freddy as you started down the sidewalk. When the two of you were far enough away, Bon-Bon sighed, and Foxy groaned.

"This place is lame," Foxy grumbled.

"We're not staying here, so get your panties out of a twist," Bon-Bon sneered, and Foxy huffed.

"Then, what are we doing?" Baby wondered.

"Freddy wants to recreate (Y/N)'s dream. The good part. Do you guys remember?" Bon-Bon replied.

"I wasn't paying attention." Foxy rolled his eyes.

"The part where Freddy wore a suit and she wore a dress, and the pizzeria was filled with candles, and they danced," Bon-Bon explained.

"I remember. How are we supposed to recreate that?" Ballora spoke up.

"First, we need to go to the clothes store," Bon-Bon announced.

~ ~ ~ ~

"Hurry up and go in, Foxy," Bon-Bon griped.

"I am," Foxy barked and opened the doors.

"Where do we start?" Baby wondered.

"Let's start with something for Freddy," Bon-Bon murmured.

"A suit and tie?" Ballora wondered.

"Yeah," Bon-Bon mused. "Now, it should be something that really defines Freddy."

"It should be light purple," Baby observed.

"Yeah," Bon-Bon muttered as he put his hand under his chin.

"He should have a vest on as well," Foxy added.

"Mhm," Bon-Bon hummed.

"He should have white shoes, right?" Ballora muttered.

"I've got it!" Bon-Bon blurted.

"What?" Foxy asked.

"Onward!" Bon-Bon exclaimed.

~ ~ ~ ~

"That'll be 213 dollars and 29 cents," the lady at the register said.

"For rent?" Foxy blurted.

"Yes," she said.

"Here you go," Bon-Bon said as he handed her the money. "And keep the change."

"Now what?" Baby wondered.

"Now, we get stuff for (Y/N)," Bon-Bon replied as Foxy and the rest walked away from the counter.

"Like what?" Foxy asked.

"A dress, of course. But it has to match Freddy's suit-"

"So, it has to be purple," Baby added.

"Yes, and her shoes can be white too," Bon-Bon replied.

"Makeup?" Foxy wondered.

"Yes," Bon-Bon mused. "Let's start with a dress, then shoes, then makeup, and then maybe, some jewelry."

~ ~ ~ ~

"You better not drop those," Bon-Bon snapped.

"OOPS!" Foxy blurted, and Bon-Bon gasped; Foxy snickered, "Just kidding."

"I'm going to stab you. If that dress gets dirty, it's coming out of your--"

"You said something about jewelry?" Ballora interrupted him.

"What about the makeup?" Bon-Bon mentioned.

"We've got eyeliner and mascara at the pizzeria, and I grabbed a tube of lipstick and some eyeshadow while you and Foxy were arguing earlier about the snowflakes on the dress," Ballora sneered.

"Oh. Maybe we can just get a necklace," Bon-Bon replied.

~ ~ ~ ~

"What about this one?" Baby suggested as she pointed to one with daisies.

"No, that one's too childish," Bon-Bon clucked.

"This one?" Ballora said as she pointed to one with a white and black heart.

"Eh, there's just . . . not enough to it," Bon-Bon mumbled.

Foxy walked over as he and the rest looked around. Bon-Bon focused intently between each necklace, pointing out the pros and cons in his head. Baby made sure what she looked for wasn't too childish, and Ballora made sure hers wasn't too little. When Bon-Bon's eyes scanned over a certain necklace, he gasped and looked back at it. It was a drop necklace with pear shaped diamonds.

"This is the one," Bon-Bon gushed.

"What is it?" Ballora wondered as she walked up beside Foxy.

"That one," Bon-Bon squealed as he put his face against the glass.

"Can I help you all?" a man asked as he walked up behind everyone.

"Yeah, how much for this necklace?" Bon-Bon wondered.

"A fine choice. It's $149,000," the man gushed.

"We'll- . . . I'm sorry?" Bon-Bon gasped as his jaw dropped.

"$149,000," the man repeated, and Bon-Bon sighed, then he asked politely, "For what do you need this necklace?"

"A few days ago, my friend's girlfriend had this dream where the two of them danced in a suit and ball gown. And my friend wanted to recreate that dream, so he wanted us to help him with it. I told him to take her out to distract her while the rest of us got everything ready," Bon-Bon explained.

"Like Beauty and the Beast?" the man chuckled to himself.

"Huh?" Bon-Bon asked.

"Oh, nothing. I think I may have the perfect necklace for this," the man gushed and guided Foxy and the rest; he mumbled as he stopped and pointed through the glass, "Here, I just got it in today."

"Which one?" Bon-Bon asked.

"The one with the rose in the glass raindrop," the man crowed.

"I love it," Bon-Bon murmured.

"But, there doesn't seem to be much to it," Ballora whispered.

"Yeah, I know," Bon-Bon replied, and Ballora looked at him in offense. "Do you mind checking us out?"

"Not at all. But, I have to ask, what's up with the puppet talking for you?" the man chuckled.

"Oh, um, it's kinda got a mind of its own," Foxy told him.

"Oh, okay," the man murmured.

~ ~ ~ ~

Foxy walked down the sidewalk, with Ballora and Baby walking behind him. Bon-Bon looked around between the signs of the shops. Foxy grunted as he kicked a rock and watched it skip a few feet ahead of him.

"Go there," Bon-Bon blurted as he pointed over to a store.

"Hm?" Foxy hummed as he looked up.

"Over there," Bon-Bon demanded, and Foxy looked over.

"The candle shop?" Foxy scoffed.

"Yeah. Remember, there were candle," Bon-Bon said, and Foxy groaned.

Foxy looked both ways before crossing the street. The rest cautiously followed close behind him. Foxy hopped onto the sidewalk and walked up to the doors, waiting until everyone stood beside him to open them. A wave of different smells hit the group, and their faces contorted into confusion.

"What is that?" Ballora wondered.

"What's what?" Bon-Bon asked.

"I don't know, but I like it," Foxy admitted as he sniffed in deeply and sighed.

"What is it?" Bon-Bon huffed.

"Birthday cake!" Baby squealed, and she was given a couple of stares.

"Birthday cake?" Bon-Bon sneered.

"Can we get candles that smell like birthday cake?" Baby begged.

"Wait, I wanna smell them," Bon-Bon whined.

"Sure, how many do we need?" Foxy wondered.

"We will need eight three tier candle holders, and 24 candles," Ballora stated.

"Why do we need the three tier things?" Foxy sneered.

"To make it look fancier," Ballora admitted.

"Whatever," Foxy sighed.

~ ~ ~ ~

"Hurry up and take all this to the car. And make sure to put them in the back, where (Y/N) won't be able to see them," Bon-Bon instructed.

"You want us to put all this up?" Ballora asked.

"I don't think so," Baby scoffed and threw the dress over Foxy's face.

"We'll go get (Y/N) and Freddy," Ballora said as she stepped off the sidewalk and onto the street with Baby. "Meet you at the library!"

"Why would you do that? You screwed us over," Foxy hissed.

"Sorry. I didn't think they'd take it the wrong way," Bon-Bon objected.

Ballora and Baby walked down the sidewalk towards the library as Foxy and Bon-Bon made their way to the car. Ballora and Baby stopped when they saw you and Freddy walking towards the two of them. You were laughing and Freddy was smiling slyly as the two of you held hands.

"Hey, guys!" Baby exclaimed, and you and Freddy looked up.

"Oh, hey. You guys ready to go?" you chuckled.

"Yeah. What's so funny?" Baby wondered.

"Oh, just Freddy flattering me." You giggled.

"Foxy and Bon-Bon are already heading towards the car," Ballora murmured.

"Then, let's go," you laughed.

Freddy swayed your hand back and forth as both of you walked down the sidewalk. Ballora and Baby followed the two of you. Freddy looked down and watched his and your feet as you walked.

~ ~ ~ ~

"Bon-Bon, I swear I'm looking, but I don't see a bunny under this dumpster. You may've saw something else, or maybe nothing at all." You huffed as you lay on the ground and looked.

"No, I swore I saw one," Bon-Bon avowed as he ushered Ballora and Baby into the pizzeria with your stuff.

"Honestly, Bon-Bon," you sighed.

"Oh, you know what, you're right," Bon-Bon agreed after Ballora and Baby walked into the pizzeria, and you glared at him.

"Okay, let's just go inside," you groaned as you stood up.

"Hey, (Y/N), we need you in the bathroom for a few minutes," Baby said as she grabbed your wrist.

"Oh, why's--" Before you could say anything else, Baby pulled you through the front doors of the pizzeria.

As soon as you stepped into the girls' bathroom, Baby locked the door, and Foxy, Freddy, and Bon-Bon, started taking everything out of the car. Foxy grabbed the candle holders and candles and took them into the big stage room. Bon-Bon handed Freddy his suit and stuff and ran him into the boys' bathroom.

"Why am I in here?" you asked.

"Close your eyes and take off your shirt and pants," Baby instructed.

"What?" you clucked.

"Oh, and your shoes and socks," Baby added.

"Why?" you worried.

"Just, strip," Baby insisted.

"U-um," you stuttered as you looked between Baby and Ballora.

"Don't worry, dear. Baby just wants to play dress-up," Ballora assured you.

"Oh, can I see?" you replied.

"No," Baby snapped, and you frowned. "I want it to be a surprise."

"Oh, okay," you said as you took off your shoes and socks.

Baby and Ballora looked away as you took off your clothes. You heard ruffling as they took out your dress. Ballora pulled the dress over your head, and Baby guided your arms into the straps that went over your biceps. You felt the veil that draped from your sleeves and over your arms and the back of your dress. Ballora put her hand on your back and lifted up the front of your dress as Baby put on your heels. As Ballora put on your makeup, Bon-Bon helped Freddy in the other bathroom.

"How do you tie this thing?" Freddy mused as he struggled to put on his bowtie.

"Here," Bon-Bon muttered as he crawled up Freddy's suit and tied it.

"Are you sure (Y/N) will like this?" Freddy worried.

"Of course she will," Bon-Bon gushed, then mumbled, "Although, if she doesn't, there's not much we can do about it."

"Huh?" Freddy squeaked.

"She's going to love it. Now, let's go help Foxy with the candles," Bon-Bon chuckled.

"Okay."

~ ~ ~ ~

"Can I open my eyes now?" You huffed.

"Not yet," Ballora said as she and Baby guided you to the center of the stage room.

"Is that . . . birthday cake?" you snickered.

"You know what they are?" Baby giggled.

"Okay, just stand here. We'll say when you can open them," Ballora said as she let go of your arm.

"Oh, okay," you mumbled as Ballora and Baby walked away from you. ". . . Guys?"

"You can open them now," Foxy said.

You opened your eyes, and at first, saw the front doors with curtains draped over them. The only light was from the warm glow of the candles that sat in the center of each table. You looked around in awe and grinned. You looked down at yourself and at the necklace you were wearing.

"Is this from Beauty and the Beast?" you mused.

"Why does everyone keep saying that?" you heard Bon-Bon blurt out from behind you.

You turned around, to see Freddy--wearing a suit--standing on the stage. You looked down at yourself, realizing that you were wearing a dress, and that all of it was almost exactly like the dream you had.

"Hello, Princess," Freddy spoke up.

"Freddy?" you chuckled. "Did you do all this?"

"Not really. Most of it was the rest. I only suggested to recreate your dream," Freddy mumbled as he pointed to everyone, who sat on the podiums on the stage.

"Oh, Freddy, I love it," you gushed as you wrapped your arms around his neck.

"Really?" Freddy asked as he smiled goofily.

"Yeah." You giggled as you pulled away.

". . . Well, why don't we dance, princess?" Freddy gushed as he bowed dramatically.

"Let's," you giggled as you bowed back, and Freddy smiled nervously.

You gently grabbed Freddy's hand and held it out, and Freddy gulped. You moved his other hand onto your hip and looked up at him as you set your hand on his arm. You pulled him with you as you spun around and he followed you. Bon-Bon and the rest watched intently as the two of you spun around. Freddy twisted you, and you stepped out, holding his hand in your extended arm. He twisted you back and you held up your other hand dramatically. He grinned as he moved his hand back around your waist, and your dress swayed out as he spun you about.

You smiled and closed your eyes as you rested your head on his chest. He looked down at you, then up at the rest, who praised him encouragingly. He twisted you around and held you out again, then did the same the other way. You twisted towards him and his arm wrapped around you. You let go of his hand and turned to look at him. He smiled sheepishly at you and you smiled back. You leaned up and kissed him, and the rest smiled at each other in satisfaction.
