Sneaky Sneaky (Chapter Thirty-Five)
"Where is this party at?" you asked Michael.
"I will walk you there. Just so you know ahead of time, this is going to be a formal party, with a lot of people, so you do not want to stand out," Michael replied.
"Oh, no," you whined, then sighed as you sat on the bed.
"What's wrong?" Freddy asked as he continued to stare at you.
"I didn't know there was going to be a lot of people," you groaned.
"It's okay, I'll be with you!" Freddy assured you and you looked up at him.
"Thanks, Fredbear," you croaked.
"No problem, honey!" Freddy squealed as he blushed brightly.
A smile tugged at your lips, and Michael stood up. You looked over at him curiously and watched as he walked towards the door. You raised your eyebrow and looked questioningly at Freddy.
"Where are you going?" you asked as you stood up and walked into the bathroom, grabbing your phone and earbuds and putting them into the pocket of your jacket.
"We need to leave now. The party starts at 7:30 PM," Michael told you.
"But, it's only 5:32," you replied as you sat back down on the bed.
"Yes, but since we will be walking, it may take a while. Plus, you have to be invited to get into this party, so you'll either have to convince the guards otherwise, or sneak in," Michael explained.
"Really?" you squealed excitedly.
"Um, yes . . . Now that I think of it, you could just catch him on his way out. Why didn't I- . . . I think of that before you all went through all the trouble?" Michael mused.
"Yooo, my experiences with acting like a spy will finally come in handy!" you announced as you jumped up and posed dramatically.
Foxy and Baby started to laugh and Ballora giggled, and you looked up at them. You looked at Freddy, whose grin spread from ear to ear. You crossed your arms and huffed, turning away from them to hide your glowing cheeks. You felt Bon-Bon jump on your shoulder and crawl on top of your head.
"What are you doing?" you wondered.
Your eyes widened as a pair of hands wrapped around your waist. Freddy giggled in your ear as he pulled you closer to him. You smiled and quickly turned yourself around. His head fell onto your chest and his hands gripped the bottom of your back as he looked up at you. You trailed your finger under his chin and pulled him up to face you. Freddy laughed nervously, and you smirked softly. You grabbed his collar and quickly pulled him towards you.
You stopped when his nose touched yours, and you gazed into his eyes. Your grip on his collar tightened as you decided that now wouldn't be the best time. Your lips brushed his as you pulled him into a hug. You let him go as you walked past him and Bon-Bon jumped onto his shoulder. Freddy stared at the curtains of the window as his mind became fuzzy.
"He almost kissed you!" Bon-Bon squealed quietly into his ear.
"Let's go!" you instructed as Michael opened the door for you.
"Also, don't ask for his name, because he will lie. He'll tell you that he is someone named 'Henry,' " Michael mentioned.
"Oh, o-kay."

"We're here. I can't go any further, or we may get in trouble," Michael blurted.
"This place looks huge," you gasped.
You looked across the street at the mansion of a building, where people were already entering. You could see two guards standing by the door. You slowly started to make your way across the street, glancing back to Freddy, to see that he held Bon-Bon on his hand.
"Freddy, you can't bring Bon-Bon," you whispered to him.
"What, why?" Freddy croaked.
"Because, you'll be made fun of," you worried.
"But, I wanna go," Bon-Bon objected.
"Pleeease," Freddy pleaded.
"Ugh, fine. But I warned you," you groaned.
"Yay!" Freddy and Bon-Bon cheered in unison.
You rolled your eyes and continued to walk towards the large building. Freddy skipped along behind you and you let a small smile creep its way on your face. When you got to the other side, the guards looked at you cautiously.
"Do you have an invitation?" one of the men asked in a gruff voice.
"Um, duh. Why else would you think I'd be here?" you scoffed.
"Show us," he said.
"Are you serious? Did you really demand something, from me? Do you know who I am!" you barked and crossed your arms.
"No, sir, I don't, but it's a security issue that you show us an invitation," he replied.
"You don't know who I am?" you shrieked in disbelief.
"Sorry, but I have to say, I don't." The guard grunted.
"Ugh," you scoffed again and rolled your eyes.
"Do you have an invitation?" he asked sternly.
". . . Well, no--"
"Then leave," he hissed.
"Pfft--"
"(Y/N), maybe we should just leave. That man looks very upset," Freddy whispered.
"You should be honored I'm even considering attending this pigsty of a place," you ranted.
"Leave now!" the guard boomed.
"Let's go, (Y/N)," Freddy pleaded as he grabbed your wrist and tried to gently pull you back.
"I'm not finished!" you snapped as you jerked your hand from him.
Freddy frowned and looked at you with glossy eyes. Your eyes widened, realizing that you had just snapped at Freddy. You turned back to the guard and snarled, then stomped towards the other side of the street. Freddy shuffled behind you as he stared at his feet.
"Okay, the whole 'self-centered' thing didn't work," you confessed to Michael.
"I can see that," Michael sneered.
"Which means . . . we get to sneak in!" you squealed.
"Shhh!" Michael hissed.
"Sorry, I'm just excited," you whispered.
"Now, go," he instructed.
You nodded and slowly walked down the sidewalk, keeping an eye on the guards. Freddy followed close behind you, and when the guards were far enough away, you started towards the other side of the street. You walked down the sidewalk, closer to the building, and quickly jumped into the alleyway that was beside it. Freddy quickly followed you as you looked around. You spotted a ladder that led to the roof and you smirked.
"We can go up to the roof and get in that way," you told Freddy.
Freddy remained quiet and you sighed before you could start up the ladder. You quickly turned around and hugged Freddy, mumbling an apology. You were about to pull away, but Freddy wrapped his arms around you tightly and smiled into your hair.
"I forgive you." Freddy giggled.
"Ooh," Bon-Bon whispered.
Freddy released you, but you remained wrapped around him. He giggled and reached around his back, grabbing your wrists and pulling them up to his mouth. He planted a kiss on the back of your hands and you blushed lightly. You pulled your hands back and smiled as you turned back towards the ladder. You started up towards the roof. Freddy looked up at you, about to follow you, but his face flooded and his jaw dropped.
"H-how about I go first?" Freddy suggested, and you looked down at him, to see that he had his eyes covered and was looking down at the ground.
"Why's that?" you asked as you climbed down and jumped onto the ground.
"Just- Just to make sure it's safe." Freddy gulped and Bon-Bon snickered.
Bon-Bon jumped onto your shoulder as Freddy passed by you. You raised an eyebrow at Bon-Bon and he giggled like a school girl. He leaned to your ear and refrained himself from laughing.
"Those skinny jeans of yours are pretty tight, ya know," Bon-Bon snickered.
"Well, y--"
You bit your lip as your face heated up, realizing what had happened. You looked up at Freddy, to see that he was smiling nervously down at you. You looked at the steps of the ladder and started to climb up. Looking up at Freddy, you smirked as you had a "brilliant" idea. Freddy quietly climbed the ladder, impatiently waiting to get to the top. He paused when he felt a body slide up the back of his. You moved your hands under his arms and put them together, holding on to the same bar as Freddy. You moved your feet on the edges of the steps, positioning them beside Freddy's. Freddy gulped as you pressed your body against his back.
"Hi," you whispered into his ear.
"Hello, (Y/N)," Freddy quavered.
Bon-Bon squeaked as he held back a squeal. You rested your head on his shoulder, taking advantage of the peaceful environment as you spooned him. You giggled into his shoulder and he laughed nervously. You kissed him on the neck and pulled yourself closer to the ladder, pushing him towards it. You moved your feet and hands up the ladder as Freddy remained still--Bon-Bon jumped back onto Freddy's shoulder. He ducked as you stepped up to his head, not wanting to bump into you. He instinctively looked up, then quickly looked away, Bon-Bon snickering mischievously. You looked down at him, smirking secretly.
"Here's the top," you said as you climbed up and jumped onto the roof.
You turned around and watched Freddy's head slowly rise as he climbed farther up the ladder. He climbed onto the ledge of the roof and sat down. You jumped towards him, standing against the ledge between his legs. You held your hands at the bottom of his back as he jerked back, making sure he didn't fall. You smiled dreamily up at Freddy and he grinned nervously. You leaned towards him, closing your eyes to kiss him.
"I'm sorry, are we interrupting something?" you heard a gruff voice ask nervously.
You turned around, to see a man in a suit peeking out from behind a door that led down to the ballroom. He slowly shrunk back behind the door and slammed it shut as he ran back into the building. You looked back at Freddy, but your eyes widened when you didn't see him, and you quickly looked around for him.
"Down here," Bon-Bon tattled.
You looked down and saw Freddy hiding on the ladder. He smiled shamefully up at you and you sighed, turning around to make your way to the door the man was at. You heard Freddy's shoes smack the ground as he ran up behind you. You opened the door--holding it open as Freddy walked in--and walked down the flight of stairs. The sound of people talking filled your ears as you walked farther down. When you got to the bottom, a door stood in front of you.
". . . Here goes nothing," you mumbled as you opened it, squinting as it revealed a glowing room.
You gulped as you walked in and saw hundreds--if not thousands--of people chatting amongst themselves. Freddy walked in front of you, looking around in awe. You hesitantly followed Freddy as he walked around, earning himself a few stares and snickers as he grinned goofily. You grabbed his hand and jerked him towards you. He stepped back and looked at you, his smile remaining pasted on his face.
"Calm down, Freddy," you whispered.
"But, there are so many people. Where are the children- I wanna go see the children," Freddy gushed.
"There aren't any children. Now, focus, we need to find Afton," you mumbled as you searched around for him.
Freddy guided you as he ran up to a wide set of steps. You tried to get him to slow down. He ran up the stairs, then ran up another set. You groaned as he skidded to a halt and looked around. He slowly walked you around the corner and to one of the many railings that looked over the big room.
"Now we can find Afton easier," Freddy crowed.
"Good idea," you commented and Freddy blushed.
You looked around, struggling to see Afton in the big crowd of similar-looking people. You groaned as you saw that almost all the men were wearing the same suit and tie. Freddy looked around with you, not blinking as he searched around the room.
"There he is," Freddy whispered as he pointed to a man that was chatting to a woman.
"I think you're right. Good eye," you noted.
Freddy smiled as you pulled him alongside you. When you arrived to the stairs, you paused and breathed in deeply. You carefully walked down and Freddy walked as you did. As you got to the bottom, you stood up straight and prepared yourself. Freddy stood beside you, and you strutted through the crowd, making your way over to Afton. When you got over to him, Afton had just finished talking with the woman and was starting to walk somewhere else. You quickly stepped behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around, and a smile crept on his face.
"Hello, sir. If I am correct, you are the owner of Circus Baby's Pizza World?" you asked.
"Yes, young man. My name is Henry," he replied as he stuck out his hand.
You grabbed it and he pulled it to him, putting his other hand on it to give you a hearty handshake. Freddy frowned, but he put out his hand, and Afton took it and shook it. Afton looked back at you and raised a brow.
"Mr. Af- I mean, uh--"
"You can call me Henry."
"Right. 'Henry', I am flattered to finally be meeting you in person. I find your company to be fascinating, and your animatronics are so--if I must--mesmerizing. I just wanted to ask you, how have you become so successful?" you spoke.
"Just, years of hard work and dedication. I believe if you wanted to, you could become even more successful than I, mister-?"
"Oh, my name is . . . Vernon Young, but you can just call me Vernon."
"And who is your partner here?" he asked.
"My name's Fred--"
"Fred! Fred Jones, is his name," you jumped in.
"Like from Scooby-Doo?" Afton chuckled.
"Yeah, I guess so," you sighed.
"Forgive me," he croaked.
"I completely understand, always being around kids and all," you commented.
"I used to have a daughter that would watch it whenever she had the chance," Afton chortled.
"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry. I know what happened and I-I didn't mean to bring it up," you protested.
"Oh, no, it's fine. I see Fred has a little buddy there," he mentioned.
"Hiya!" Bon-Bon exclaimed and your heart jumped into your throat.
"My, oh, my, his impersonation of Bon-Bon is spot on," Afton laughed.
"Yeah, I keep telling him to keep his puppet put away 'cause it's so stupid, but he just doesn't listen. Most of the time, he's got his head so far up in the clouds, that I think the lack of oxygen to his brain is what's making him stupid," you laughed.
"Huh," Afton chuckled uneasily, looking to Freddy sympathetically.
Behind Afton, you saw the guard that you talked to outside, walking alongside the other one. They were looking around as they made their way through the crowd. You looked at Freddy and gulped, but Freddy stared at his feet with a sad expression.
"You know, Will- Henry, I've really got to get going. Maybe we can meet somewhere? I-I mean, only if you want to," you babbled.
"That's a wonderful idea," Afton commented.
"Are you free tomorrow night?" you asked.
"Maybe."
"Uh, how about we meet at your pizzeria, 'Circus Baby's Pizza World,' at 7:00 PM?"
"If I'm not too busy. Maybe we can exchange numbers, just in case," Afton replied.
"See, he's right there!" you faintly heard someone exclaim.
"Uh, sure, you can give me your number," you babbled.
"Here." Afton pulled out a card from his pocket and handed it to you.
"Alright, thank you, I'll see you tomorrow night--unless you can't get there--then I'll give you a call," you spoke spastically. "Okay, bye."
You started walking away from the guards before he could say anything and Freddy followed you. You picked up the pace when you could barely hear someone call after you. You looked back at Freddy, but he wasn't there. You desperately looked around for him. Freddy tapped you on the shoulder, and you sighed as you grabbed his hand and continued on.
"Hey, you there!" you heard the guard yell.
You pulled Freddy with you as you started to run towards the main doors. You could here the squeaking of shoes on the floor as they started to chase after you and Freddy. Freddy struggled to keep up with you as you both moved through the crowd. When Freddy started to slow down, you groaned and picked him up bridal style. He whimpered as you ran with him in your arms. Everyone cleared a path as they stared in confusion.
"This is fun!" Bon-Bon cheered.
"Shhh," you whispered as you reached the door.
You quickly ran out the doors and over into the alley. You panted as you set Freddy down. He stepped back shamefully. The guards ran over in front of you, but they couldn't see you, so they searched elsewhere in confusion. You peeked around the corner, and when they were out of sight, you calmly walked across the street.
"Michael?" you whispered.
"I'm here," he said as he stepped out from behind a dumpster.
"So, how'd I do?" you crowed to Freddy.
"You- You did really good," Freddy cheered unconvincingly.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
You frowned, and Michael started to walk down the sidewalk. You followed close behind him and Freddy shuffled along. Freddy sighed as he kicked a rock, and you grunted.
