New Bodies (Chapter Twenty-One)

You watched as Freddy sat on the ground, still gripping on to your dead body. You had been watching him sit there and rock you slowly--all night--occasionally mumbling things to himself. You wished you could hug him and tell him you were right there with him. Bon-Bon whispered something and Freddy shook his head.

"Come on, Freddy. Get back on stage," Baby croaked, putting a hand on his shoulder.

Freddy hugged you one last time and carefully set your body down. He stood up and sighed shakily. Baby stood on her podium. Freddy turned around and walked towards the stage, his shoulders slumped and his head down. He stopped and looked back at your corpse as his ears twitched. You walked in front of him and looked up into his eyes as he looked down at his feet. Although he couldn't feel or hear you, you wrapped your arms around him and hugged him tightly.

"I love you, Freddy," you cried.

"Come on, Freddy," Ballora mumbled.

Freddy tried to move forward, but felt like something was keeping him in place. You sighed and leaned back to let go of him, but your arms and body stuck to him. You frowned as you struggled to pry your body from him.

"Freddy," Foxy complained.

"I'm tr-trying. I feel li-ike I'm moving, bu-ut I'm not," Freddy stammered.

"What do you mean?" Foxy griped.

"I ca-an't move," Freddy said.

You looked up at him and raised an eyebrow. You wondered if you were the cause. You put a foot behind you and breathed in. You closed your eyes and gritted your teeth as you pulled as hard as you could. You groaned as you fell backwards, something falling with you and on top of you. You propped yourself up with your elbows as you looked up. Upon seeing another Freddy, you blinked a few times, registering exactly what you were seeing.

"F-Freddy!" you stammered as your eyes glistened.

"(Y/N)?" Freddy looked down at you with wide eyes.

"(Y/N)!" Bon-Bon cheered, jumping at you and hugging your neck.

Freddy wrapped his arms around you tightly, hugging you. He laughed in relief into your chest. You sat up some more and hugged him back.

"B-but how?" he stammered.

"Apparently, I'm a ghost, but I don't know how you got here," you told him as you both stood up, Bon-Bon hopping off of you.

"Freddy? Are you okay?" Baby asked him.

You thought for a second, wondering how you had pulled Freddy out of himself. "Freddy, I have an idea, but I don't know if it will work. I'll need your help."

"Okay, what is it?" he asked.

"I'm gonna grab one of the animatronics, and then I need you to help me pull," you told him.

"Okay."

"Yoo-hoo!" Foxy sang.

"Ready?" you asked Freddy and grabbed Foxy's wrist.

"Yeah," Freddy said as you and him stood ready to pull.

"On 'go.' 3, 2, 1, GO!"

You and Freddy pulled as hard as you two could. You watched as it looked like Foxy's soul was being ripped out of his body. You fell back into Freddy and he put his wrists under your arm, catching and holding you. You looked up at him and silently thanked him. Foxy stumbled forward some, then gained his composure. Freddy pulled you up as Foxy looked up, confused.

"Foxy! I never thought I'd say this, but I'm so glad to see you!" you laughed and hugged him.

"(Y/N)?" Foxy murmured aloud, then hugged you back.

Foxy quickly opened his eyes and pushed you away. He crossed his arms and you smiled at him. He scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"Foxy, help me pull Baby and Ballora," you told him.

"Um, okay?"

You grabbed Ballora's wrist, and you, Foxy, and Freddy, pulled her out. Ballora fell onto her hands, her knees bent like a spider behind her. She stood up and looked around. You, Foxy, and Freddy, then pulled Baby out. She stepped forward and looked around as well.

"What's going on?" Baby asked, looking at her other-self.

"I don't know. I just got stuck when I was hugging Freddy, and then when I tried to pull myself away, I . . . pulled him out of himself?" you told her and the rest of the animatronics.

"You were hugging me?" Freddy asked.

"Oh, um, yeah." You blushed.

"That still doesn't make sense," she muttered.

You shrugged and thought of something that you usually saw in movies. You lifted up your feet and--surprisingly--your body floated.

"Yoo! Look!" you squealed.

You extended your legs as you put your hands up. You grinned at Freddy, whose ears twitched.

"Can I do that?" Freddy asked.

"I don't know. Try." You floated over to him.

Freddy closed his eyes and thought. His body morphed into a glowing orb. You looked at "him" wide eyed. The orb then morphed into a human Freddy, just a bit taller than you, possessing a plump shape. He had what looked like light purple paint, forming two circles on his cheeks. He had blue eyes; short, white, messy hair; a small white tail; and white bear ears that stuck up from the top of his head--with pinkish-purple fur in the inside. He had his familiar looking top hat set between his ears, as well as his black bowtie. He wore a light purple dress shirt, with a black vest over it, which was tucked into white dress pants, and black dress shoes. Bon-Bon was on his hand--his microphone in his other--who looked like he usually did, but made of cotton. Bon-Bon also had a cute poofy tail.

"Ooh, I can't fly," Freddy whined and stuck out his lip.

"You can't fly and I still don't have my own body!" Bon-Bon complained.

"Freddy, you have a body," Baby pointed out in shock.

"Oh, I do," he murmured, looking down at himself.

"Can we do that?" Foxy asked.

Foxy closed his eyes and did as Freddy did, morphing into a glowing ball, then into a human body. He was much taller than Freddy and built. He had pink circles on his cheeks. He had white hair, as well, but his hair was neat and swept to the side. He had yellow eyes, white fox ears on the top of his head--with pink fur in the insides--and a long white tail with pink fur at the tip. He wore the same designed shirt as Freddy's, but colored light pink, and a black vest a little lower than Freddy's, which was tucked into a pair of grey dress pants. He had on the same black shoes, and had a red bowtie on.

"Sweet," he crowed, looking down at himself.

"We can finally escape this place." Baby sighed in relief.

Baby closed her eyes and did the same as Foxy and Freddy. The top of her head was as high as your shoulders. She looked exactly like she did when she was an animatronic, but more human. She had red circles on her cheeks, her nose also had red "paint" on it, red lips, and green eyes. She had red banged hair put in pigtails with blue hair elastics, and blue eyebrows. She wore a cropped top with frills on the shoulders, a red frilly skirt, long socks, and white and red jester shoes. She held her microphone in her left hand.

"Oh, wow!" Foxy laughed at how short she was.

"Stop laughing," Baby said through gritted teeth.

"Alright, your turn, Ballora," you said.

"Oh, dear," she mumbled, before closing her eyes.

Ballora did the same as the rest and morphed into a human. She was built like a ballerina, with long legs, and was as tall as Foxy. Along with Baby, she looked exactly like her animatronic form, but more human. She had pink cheeks and lipstick, blue eyeshadow, blue nails, and purple eyes. She had blue hair put up in a bun. She wore a blue bikini, a pink tutu decorated with golden orbs, and blue-ribbon ballet shoes. She had a pearl tiara atop her head and golden pearl earrings.

"What's this stuff on our faces? Especially Ballora's," Foxy asked, wiping his cheek to see if he had the same circles as the rest.

"It's makeup," you stated happily.

"Oh." Foxy looked at his hand, to find that he couldn't get whatever was on his face off.

"Ooh, I get to teach you guys how to be humans," you squealed.

"Ahem!" Bon-Bon coughed.

"Sorry, Bon-Bon."

"Freddy, put me down, I want to see how this cloth-y body does me," Bon-Bon demanded and Freddy took him off his hand.

"I have two hands. What am I supposed to do?" Freddy worried, staring wide-eyed at his uncovered hand.

You laughed, and Bon-Bon swatted Freddy's arm to get him to let him go. Freddy set Bon-Bon down and he crawled around. He smiled and looked up at you. He crawled up your leg and up onto your shoulder.

"So, how is it, Bon-Bon?" You giggled.

"It's easier to move around. I can also make facial expressions. So, it's pretty cool," Bon-Bon examined.

"What are we going to do with our old bodies?" Ballora asked.

"We could destroy them," Baby suggested.

"I'll destroy them," you volunteered.

You grinned and lifted yourself up, Bon-Bon jumping off of you. You floated towards Freddy's old body and looked it up and down. You raised an eyebrow and thrust yourself at it. You ended up going through its outer casing as a glowing orb. You moved and bounced around in the body. As it pushed you out, it shattered into pieces. You looked wide eyed at everyone as they all returned the gesture.

"What was that?" Baby wondered aloud.

You shrugged and looked back at the rest of the old bodies. You zoomed into Foxy and did the same. Again, it pushed you out and burst into pieces. You laughed hysterically, then zoomed into Baby's, then into Ballora's. You continued to laugh, your voice becoming echoed.

"(Y-Y/N)?" Freddy stuttered.

You looked around for something else to break, feeling like you couldn't get enough. You zoomed at a table and did the same thing with it. Pieces of it flew all over the pizzeria. The--not animatronics, anymore--watched you, horrified as your body became more ghostly: your hair started to float, as if you were in water, and your whole body faded slightly.

"(Y/N), you can stop now," Baby said, but you continued to break everything in sight.

"He is losing it," Ballora worried.

"This doesn't seem good . . . I like it," Foxy snickered.

"(Y/N)!" Freddy called for you.

"There's not going to be anything left. Then what?" Ballora wondered aloud.

"(Y/N), please, stop!" Freddy begged.

You continued laughing as you leapt between chairs. Your voice became more disfigured as you went.

"(Y/N), you're scaring me! Stop it!" Freddy yelled.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT?" you growled as you glared at him, your eyebrows stitched together.

He looked up at you, scared, and you relaxed, starting to pant. Your hair slowly fell back in place and you faded back in as you lowered to the ground.

"I-I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me," you croaked and looked down at your feet.

"Please, don't do that again. You could've gotten hurt," Freddy mumbled.

"O-okay," you stuttered, looking up at him.

"We have our bodies, and our old ones are gone. What do we do now?" Foxy asked Baby.

"I-I don't know. (Y/N) knows more about these 'people' things. (Y/N), what do we do now?" Baby said.

"Well, it depends on whether people can see us or not. From what I know of ghosts, they can choose to be seen or to not. Which, if we can do that, we can get away with pretty much anything. Also, Foxy, Freddy, are you guys able to get rid of the ears and tails?"

"We should," Foxy said.

He thought for a moment, and his ears and tail shined brightly, then vanished. He looked behind him--to where his tail was--nodding.

"Cool, but you can bring them back for now. They're cute." You giggled.

Foxy frowned and glared at you. He looked away as you smiled at him. A light shined above his head and behind him and his ears and tail came back. You giggled and Foxy growled as his tail flicked.
