Love? (Chapter Eleven)
"Are you sure you don't need anything?" James asked you.
"Yeah, I'm fine," you assured him, standing in the doorway.
"Okay, then," he said and looked back at Aaron and Tyler, who closed the back door to the box truck.
"Alright, everything's ready! Let's go! Oh, bye, (Y/N)!" Aaron called out as he hopped into the truck; Seth already had it started.
"Later, (Y/N)!" Tyler yelled as he hopped in on the other side.
"Well, then, if you need anything, just call me. Okay?" James looked back at you.
"I will," you said, nodding.
"Come on, James!" Aaron yelled out the window.
"I'm coming! See you later, (Y/N)," James said and ran to the truck.
He opened the door and looked back. You waved to him and he smiled. He hopped into the truck and closed the door. You shut and locked the doors as they drove off. You walked back into the kitchen; your cup of ice had already melted. You sighed and spilled the water out into the sink. After throwing your cup into the trash, you walked out. Your head started to throb as you got into the elevator.
"No! Stop it," you growled, then descended into the underground facility.
You crawled through the vent and crouched into the Ballora Gallery. Ballora, Foxy, and Freddy, were chatting, waiting for Baby to come. They didn't seem to acknowledge your presence. You felt a bit creeped out by them, thinking back to all that you had imagined. A few seconds later, you squinted as a light shined into the Ballora Gallery. Baby lowered, the whole scene looking pretty majestic.
"Hello, (Y/N)," Baby greeted you.
"Hi, Baby." You waved to her.
"Oh, (Y/N)? When did you get here?" Bon-Bon asked.
"Just a few seconds ago," you told him.
"(Y/N), I want to know what happened up there. What did you tell them?" Baby said, glaring at you.
You gulped and said, "I told them I've been staying here."
"Did you tell them anything about us?"
"No, I promise," you said, holding out your pinky finger.
"Baby, easy on the boy. Making him scared is my job," Foxy snickered.
"But, he's taken too long," Baby whispered and looked at you.
"What?" you squeaked.
"Foxy was only joking," Ballora said.
"No, I wasn't," Foxy sneered.
"I'm not talking about Foxy. Baby, what did you say after Foxy?"
"I didn't say anything," Baby muttered.
You put a hand against your head and sighed. The throbbing in your head continued, and you sat on the floor against the wall.
"Are you okay?" Bon-Bon asked you.
"Yeah, my head just hurts."
"You're not sick again, are you?" Bon-Bon worried.
"No, it will go away soon." You giggled, remembering what all happened a few days ago.
Bon-Bon reached his arms out towards you and looked back at Freddy. Freddy sat down next to you. He reached Bon-Bon across him.
"Mwa!" Bon-Bon giggled as he kissed you on the cheek.
You smiled, and Bon-Bon hopped off of Freddy's arm and into your lap. He looked up at you and you rubbed the top of his head. His ears went back and his eyes shut as he sighed in contentment. Freddy glared at Bon-Bon secretly and Bon-Bon snickered.
"What do you want to do today, (Y/N)?" Ballora asked.
"I don't know. Maybe we can play truth or dare," you suggested.
"How do you play?" Bon-Bon asked you.
"Well, it's pretty simple. First, someone asks somebody else whether they choose truth or dare. I'll go ahead and ask you, and then I'll tell you from there. Bon-Bon, truth or dare?"
"Um, truth?"
"Yeah? Okay, since you said truth, I will ask you a question that you have to answer honestly. I'll just come up with a stupid one: out of us five, who would you want to hug the most?" you said.
"You, of course!" Bon-Bon giggled.
"Bon-Bon?" Freddy objected.
"Sorry. He's softer," Bon-Bon said as he buried his face in your stomach, making you giggle.
"Alright, now let's say you said 'dare.' I would come up with a dare that you had to do: I dare you to hug me." You giggled.
"Yes!" Bon-Bon muffled into your stomach.
"Now you have to ask somebody else."
"Who do I ask?"
"It's whoever you choose."
Bon-Bon giggled sweetly, then looked at Freddy. His giggle turned sour and Freddy furrowed his eyebrow plates.
"No, Bo-Bon-Bon!" Freddy snapped.
"Mwahaha!" Bon-Bon boomed.
Freddy glared at Bon-Bon and blushed. Bon-Bon made a sound--sounding like he was blowing raspberries--towards Freddy and laughed.
"Okay, Freddy, truth or dare?" Bon-Bon asked maliciously.
"Ooh, this i-is a lose-l-ose situation," Freddy whined.
"Actually, if you think about it, it's a win-win." Bon-Bon winked at Freddy.
Freddy blushed and thought for a moment. Bon-Bon nudged you in the arm. You looked down at him and he winked at you. You smiled at him as you raised an eyebrow.
"Okay, I pi-ick dare- No w-wait! Maybe--"
"You've already chose your fate! Mwahaha! Freddy, I dare you to- to . . . hold (Y/N)'s hand for the rest of the game!" Bon-Bon said and laughed.
"That's it?" Foxy sneered as Freddy blushed and whined.
"Weak!" you bellowed.
"Okay, then, I dare him to--"
"Nope!" Freddy blurted as he grabbed your hand.
You looked at him, blushing, and he blushed back. You tangled your fingers in his and smiled. Freddy's blush grew brighter and you giggled.
"How about we take this game upstairs?" Foxy barked.
"Yeah," you uttered weakly as a pain in your chest emerged.
"Alright, I'll see you guys up there!" Foxy grumbled and went into the Funtime Auditorium.
Baby stood on Ballora's stage and rose back up into the pizzeria. Ballora crossed her arms and waited for her ride to come back.
"Why don't we pause the game?" you asked Bon-Bon.
"Sure," Bon-Bon said.
You opened your hand but Freddy's grip on your hand remained. You looked at him, then to your hand. Freddy blushed and let go. You stood up. Ballora crawled onto her platform once it come back down. Freddy grabbed Bon-Bon and was about to put him on his arm.
"Wait. I'll go with (Y/N)," Bon-Bon insisted.
"O-okay?" Freddy mumbled questioningly.
Freddy walked out into the Breaker Room and onto his platform. Now it was just you and Bon-Bon. You crouched into the Control Module and crawled through the vent. The tapping of Bon-Bon's hands echoed off the walls of the vent. He crawled between your legs and in front of you.
"Yo, watch where your ears go!" you hissed.
"Sorry, I just want to tell you something real quick," Bon-Bon began.
"Right now?"
"I'm not supposed to tell you this, since I promised Freddy I wouldn't, but I know that he won't," Bon-Bon fretted, piquing your interest.
"What do you mean? Is it something bad?" you wondered as you lay down and put your head in your hands.
"No, not at all. You may already know, because--I mean--it's pretty obvious," Bon-Bon noted.
"What is it?" you asked him.
"Well, if I didn't know what was going on, I would've thought something was wrong with Freddy. Having said that, have you noticed how Freddy's behaviour has been . . . off?" Bon-Bon murmured.
"He has been acting a bit off, but I haven't thought anything of it."
"Now, please say that whatever I tell you will not affect how you think of Freddy," Bon-Bon pleaded.
"It will not," you promised.
"I shouldn't be the one nervous here." Bon-Bon sighed shakily.
"There's no need to be nervous. I won't tell Freddy you told me. Okay?"
"Okay . . . Freddyreallylikesyou! Thank goodness I got that out- Alright, let's go," Bon-Bon said nervously and started to crawl away.
You grabbed one of his ears and held him in place. You thought for a moment, trying to piece together what he said. You gasped and pulled him towards you, making him fall on his back and slide underneath you.
"Freddy likes me?" you gushed.
Bon-Bon gasped, putting his hands over your mouth. "Shh!"
You blushed, thinking back to everything he'd ever said to you, all the times you'd been together, and how he'd acted around you. Bon-Bon took his hands off your mouth and backed up some.
"Like, like-like?"
"Yes, but Freddy can't know I told you this, or else he'll be upset," Bon-Bon added.
"Really? Why does he like me?" You blushed harder.
"I don't really know how to explain it. 'Like' may not be the right word. I think 'love' best explains how he feels about you," Bon-Bon explained.
"Love?" you cooed as your eyes glistened.
"Yeah. Freddy loves you. In fact- I don't say this to offend you, but he's driving me crazy thinking and talking about you so much," Bon-Bon griped.
"It doesn't offend me. It flatters me," you replied.
"I don't know how I'm gonna keep this from Freddy."
"We should get going," you said, then started to crawl towards the elevator.
Bon-Bon ran into the elevator and waited for you. Once you got into the elevator, you picked Bon-Bon up and pressed the red button.
"You could totally mess with Freddy. Nothing to hurt his feelings, though," Bon-Bon snickered.
"How so?"
"You could just do a bunch of subtle things. Like . . . I don't know, just make his heart flutter!" Bon-Bon squealed and lay down on your shoulder.
You giggled. The elevator doors opened and you walked out, off the stage.
"There you guys are! What took so long?" Foxy complained, the rest of the animatronics looking at you.
"We were just taking a few seconds to breathe in peace. It was especially peaceful since you weren't there." You snickered.
Foxy growled. You looked at Freddy and held his gaze. You smirked and winked at him. Freddy blushed and turned around. Bon-Bon giggled quietly in your ear and you tried to keep yourself from grinning stupidly.
"Alright, who wants to go first?" you asked, sitting down in your chair.
"I'll go first!" Foxy demanded.
"Wait a minute! You're forgetting something!" Bon-Bon sang as he jumped onto the table.
You looked into Freddy's eyes and smiled. You grabbed his hand and tangled your fingers in it. Freddy blushed and you winked at him, causing him to blush harder.
'This is actually really fun,' you admitted in your head.
"Mmm, who should I choose? Freddy."
"Ooh," Freddy whined.
"Truth or dare?" Foxy snickered.
"Truth."
"If you had to make out with one of us--and you could--who would it be? And you have to answer truthfully."
"U-uh, um . . . Myself!" Freddy shouted.
"What?" Bon-Bon looked at him.
"I-I'm sorry. I just d-on't want to hur-urt anybody's feelings," Freddy said.
Foxy opened his mouth to say something, but sighed and crossed his arms instead. You rubbed Freddy's hand with your thumb and smiled at him sympathetically. Freddy blushed and looked at the table.
"Okay, u-um . . . Ballora, truth or da-a-are?" Freddy stammered.
"Truth," said Ballora.
"Who's y-your favourite per-son in this roo-oom?"
"Baby."
Baby quickly looked up at Ballora, shocked. Ballora giggled and Baby looked somewhere else, her eyes glowing lightly.
"Bon-Bon, truth or dare?" Ballora asked.
"Dare!" Bon-Bon cheered.
"Okay, I dare you to sing for the next two rounds."
"Okay!" Bon-Bon sang and laughed.
Bon-Bon giggled and looked up at you. He quickly glanced at Freddy, then back at you. He snickered. You raised an eyebrow, wondering what the mischievous bunny was up to.
"(Y/N), truth or dare?" Bon-Bon sang and winked at you.
"Dare," you snickered.
"I dare you to . . . whisper into Freddy's ear," Bon-Bon sang and laughed.
"What should I say?" you asked him while Freddy blushed.
"Whatever you want to." Bon-Bon giggled and you nodded.
You released Freddy's hand and moved yours onto his shoulder as you stood up. You thought of something, then got a mischievous idea. You put your mouth to Freddy's ear, then wondered if doing so was necessary.
"I love y--" you held on to that letter, thinking of an idea, Freddy blushing brightly--"ou-nicellular organisms."
"Uh--"
"Foxy, I swear to god, if you mess this up, I will fucking kill you," Bon-Bon hissed at Foxy.
"Holy shit," you whispered, realizing that you were liking this way too much.
Foxy grunted and Bon-Bon watched you two innocently. You slowly closed your eyes, your energy quickly decreasing. You giggled.
"Hi, Freddy," you said flirtatiously.
"He-ello." Freddy gulped.
"I like you," you whispered.
"Uni-cell-a-lar organisms?" Freddy asked, wondering if he had said it right.
"No. I like you, Freddy." You then threw your head back in laughter.
You sat in your chair and struggled to keep your eyes open as you laughed hysterically. Freddy blinked a few times and raised an eyebrow plate.
"(Y/N), are you okay?" Bon-Bon asked you.
"Wha- I just feel really sleepy all of a sudden," you murmured.
"Why are you acting like you're drunk?" he asked.
"Being really sleepy is basically like being drunk- But, there's no need to worry. I'm fine. Aren't I, Freddy?" you laughed and put your arm around Freddy.
"Foxy, did you do this?" Bon-Bon snarled, worrying that you would say something in your "drunkenness."
"No! How exactly would I have been able to do this." Foxy defended himself.
"I think you're really cute," you slurred, holding Freddy's face.
Freddy blushed and you giggled. Bon-Bon pulled on your arm and you dropped your head on the table, your arms dangling in front of you. Bon-Bon looked at you worriedly.
"What's happening? How has he gotten so tired so suddenly?" Baby asked Foxy.
"Why must you assume I have something to do with this?" Foxy spouted.
"Nap time!" you sang, before dropping to the floor.
