First Official Date (Chapter Thirty-Seven)
"Good morning, sleepy head!" Freddy sang you awake.
"Mmm," you hummed in despair as you pulled the blanket over your head.
"I've got breakfast!" Freddy giggled.
You hugged onto the pillow tighter, the carpet under you rubbing against your skin. After you finished cleaning up last night, you saw that Foxy, Ballora, and Baby, were already asleep on their bed. Freddy didn't actually have to take a shower, just shapeshifting into an orb, then back to his human body. Since the other bed was soaked in Coca Cola, you and Freddy had to sleep on the floor in front of the dresser.
"Come on, honey!" Freddy gushed as he sat on the floor next to you.
"Yeah, Freddy and Michael got us pancakes. He also got us coffee. This stuff's great," Baby cheered as she spun around in the chair.
"Actually, it was just Freddy. I only assisted with driving him there," Michael spoke up.
"Here, (Y/N)," Freddy said as he slowly pulled the blankets off you.
"Huh?" you wondered as you quickly sat up.
You looked at Freddy and he held up a large cup of coffee and a McDonald's bag. Freddy set the bag in your lap as you grabbed the cup. Your hand dropped weakly and Freddy quickly grabbed your wrist. You set the coffee onto the floor--Freddy made sure it didn't tip over--and searched through the bag. You pulled out a container of pancakes and smiled softly.
"So, did you sleep well?" Freddy asked.
"Um, yeah, and you?" you mumbled as you drizzled syrup over your pancakes.
"Yes, especially since I was lying next to you," Freddy stated.
"Ugh!" Foxy groaned.
"What?" you asked through a moutful of sticky pancakes.
"Small talk is the best you've got?" Foxy scoffed as you swallowed.
"We just kissed last night, what more do you want?" you growled.
"Morning kisses!" Freddy exclaimed.
"Wha?" you wondered.
Freddy quickly kissed you on the lips, and you giggled. As he pulled back, he licked the syrup off his lips and hummed in delight. He pulled you to him and planted several pecks all over your face. You laughed and tried to push him away.
"Stop it," you groaned as you giggled.
"But I don't wanna!" Freddy laughed.
Freddy stopped and smiled slyly. You frowned and he leaned in to kiss you. You leaned in as well, but with the momentum, your lips busted together. You quickly pulled away and held your lip.
"Mm . . . ! Oh, I think I'm bleeding," you murmured, tasting iron in your mouth.
"WHAT? I'm so sorry!" Freddy blurted.
"Wow, that was so romantic," Baby groaned sarcastically.
"Shut up, Foxy- . . . Wait a minute, Baby?" you wondered in confusion.
"Baby," Ballora--who stood beside her--scolded her as she swatted her arm lightly.
"Sorry, Ballora," Baby mumbled.
You licked the inside of your lip, trying to rub the pain away. Freddy frowned and looked down at his feet. You smiled and planted a kiss on his forehead, and he looked up at you, blushing brightly as he grinned goofily. You smiled as he handed you your coffee. Freddy stared at you dreamily as you closed your eyes and sipped on your coffee. When you opened them and looked up at Freddy, you raised your eyebrow, and he smiled slyly.
"What?" you chuckled.
"Nothing, you just . . . are so beautiful," Freddy sighed.
"With my bedhead and morning breath?" you asked, sounding unconvinced.
"Oh, yes," Freddy gushed.
"Pfft," you scoffed and blushed as you put your cup to your mouth, trying to hide your smile.
Freddy, though, saw your small smile, and he laughed. Your eyes darted to him as you squinted, drinking some of your coffee. When he didn't stop, Baby and Foxy pitched in, and you looked between the three in offense as you set your coffee on the dresser above you. Ballora covered her mouth while she giggled and you huffed as you crossed your arms. You frowned and furrowed your eyebrows as you looked towards the door of the room.
"I love you, (Y/N). My little hive of honey," Freddy crowed as he wrapped his arms around your back and stuffed the side of his face into your tummy.
". . . Love you too, Fredbear," you groaned.
Freddy pulled his head up to your face and giggled. Your eyebrows stitched together as your frown deepened. Freddy closed his eyes and rubbed his nose against yours. You bit your lip as you tried to refrain yourself from smiling.
"Ooh, I think I see a smile coming on!" Freddy laughed.
"Pfft . . . shut up," you mumbled as you pushed him away and pulled your knees to your chest.
"We'll have to buy you another pair of clothes for tonight," Michael mentioned.
"Huh? Why can't I just wear these?" you asked as you looked up at him.
"Well, (Y/N), you wore those clothes when Afton killed you. That BASTARD," Freddy growled.
"Freddy!" you gasped.
". . . Sorry," Freddy mumbled and rubbed his arm as he looked down at a pillow.
"Let's go!" Foxy exclaimed as he jumped up and walked towards the door.
"Now?" you whined.
"Yes, (Y/N)," Foxy sighed and snickered.
"Fine," you groaned as you crawled over to your high tops and put them on. "You people."
You grumbled as you stood up and grabbed your cup of coffee. You took a sip of it and immediately recoiled at the cold liquid. You sighed and decided to just get a new cup at McDonald's.

You sipped on your new--and warm--cup of coffee as you trotted behind Foxy. Yours and Freddy's hands swayed between the two of you as they were entangled. Ballora walked behind you and Freddy, with Baby sitting on her shoulders. Michael--like always--watched silently from the shadows.
"Here! Okay, (Y/N), you stay out here, and we'll go in," Foxy said.
"Again?" you griped as you stood beside him.
"I can stay out here with him," Freddy suggested.
"If you want. I don't care." Foxy sighed.
"Hey, before you go in, could you give me about fifty bucks?" Freddy asked Foxy.
"Sure?" Foxy mumbled as he grabbed the wallet from his pocket and handed Freddy a bill.
Foxy walked into the shop and Ballora followed him. Baby huffed, having to duck underneath the doorway. You leaned against the window and took out your phone.
"Why'd you need fifty dollars, Freddy?" Bon-Bon asked him quietly on his hand.
"Because, (Y/N) and I are gonna go on a date!" Freddy cheered as he grabbed your hand.
"Woah!" you shrieked as Freddy started to run, pulling you with him.
Freddy made his way down the sidewalk, quickly looking between the signs of the stores, and you put your phone back into your pocket. He abruptly stopped and you ran into his back. You grunted, about to take a step back, when Freddy started to run across the street. As soon as you stepped onto the road, a car screeched to a halt.
"Hey, watch it!" a man shouted.
"Bleh, bleh, bleh," you mused and rolled your eyes as Freddy continued on.
"Lookie!" Freddy laughed as he pointed up.
"Ooh, the library," you muttered, and you pulled Freddy in.
"Yeah, at first I wanted to take you to a restaurant or something, but when I saw this, I thought maybe you would like a nice and quiet place that didn't have a lot of people," Freddy whispered as you slowly made your way to a bookshelf.
"Aww, I love it, and you," you gushed quietly and wrapped your arms around Freddy's neck.
Freddy blushed as you released him and turned around. Freddy stared at you as you ran your fingers down the spines of the books, looking through the titles. When you got to the end of the shelves, you turned the corner and walked the other direction. You slowed down when you got to a familiar looking book.
"Oh, this is the one I was gonna read the last time we came here. I'm gonna go sit and start on this, if you want to meet me when you get a book," you murmured.
"No need," Freddy whispered as he grabbed a random book off the shelf.
You walked back and around the corner, into the other part of the library. There was a chair--with a low back--that was conveniently placed in the middle of the room. You sat in it, crossing your legs, and opened the book as Freddy sat in the chair across from you.
"You can come sit next to me," you told him.
"No, I'm fine here," Freddy replied, and you shrugged, starting on your book.
"Why are you sitting so far away from him?" Bon-Bon griped quietly into Freddy's ear as he crawled onto his shoulder.
"So I can see him better," Freddy muttered.
". . . That's adorable," Bon-Bon whispered quietly.
You sat quietly as you carefully read the printed words, flipping a page when you needed to. A few minutes later, you started to feel uncomfortable, so you switched positions, propping your elbow on to the arm of the sofa and folding your legs halfway underneath you. Freddy stared at you, studying the way your eyes and eyebrows moved as you started to slowly engulf yourself in your book. Without looking away from your book, you switched positions again, leaning back some and extending one of your legs over the side of the other arm.
"What is he doing?" Bon-Bon wondered to himself.
". . . I don't know," Freddy sighed as his stare deepened.
Your eyebrows furrowed and you looked further into the book as your concentration peaked. Smoothly, you moved both your legs over the arm of the chair as you turned your torso towards Freddy. Bon-Bon looked at Freddy in boredom. He waved his hand in front of Freddy, but Freddy's eyes remained on you.
"Ugh," Bon-Bon groaned quietly and lay down on his shoulder.
Freddy tilted his head at you as you grumbled to yourself about not being able to get comfortable. As if it was nothing, your torso remained faced towards Freddy as you draped your legs over the back of the chair. Now, your book was covering most of your face as you had completely left reality. Freddy whined, as his view of you was blocked, and Bon-Bon snickered.
"There you guys are!" Foxy hissed.
"I told you they would be here," Ballora whispered.
"Rescuers!" Bon-Bon laughed quietly.
"Hi, guys," Freddy said.
Foxy looked at you and squinted in confusion. Baby tilted her head at you--as she still sat on Ballora's shoulders. Ballora held the bag from the shop, and she looked at you in awe, seeing your position. Foxy stepped up to you and Freddy jumped up.
"Careful, he seems to be in a very deep state of concentration," Freddy warned him.
Foxy brushed him off, but cautiously reached to tap on the edge of your book. Foxy extended his finger and moved his hand towards you. Before he could touch the book, your eyes darted to him and he jumped back.
"Oh, hey, guys," you said as you sat up and folded the corner of the page you were on, closing it.
"What was that?" Foxy wondered, gesturing to the weird position you were in.
"What was what?" you asked.
". . . Nevermind, let's just go," Foxy groaned.
"Before we go, I wanna buy a library card and check this book out," you told Foxy.
"Whatever," Foxy sighed.
