Dream-Mare (Chapter Forty-Seven)
You hugged Freddy as he wiped tears from his eyes. He sniffled, and you felt as if you were gonna start crying. You kissed his cheek, and he smiled, causing you to smile. You continued to give him small pecks and he giggled.
"Why don't we all go to sleep? It's been a long day," Ballora suggested.
"What time is it?" you wondered.
"It is 7:43 PM," Ballora replied.
"Already?" you asked in disbelief.
"Yeah, Baby's already laying down, and I think Foxy may have passed out," Bon-Bon snickered.
"Oh, ew." You cringed at the thought of Foxy.
"I'm going to go on, then," Ballora mumbled and walked towards Baby.
"Mm- Let's go, Fredbear," you said as you took his hand and led him to the foam pads.
You and Freddy both lay down next to each other, and--although unintentionally--Bon-Bon slept spread out between the two of you. Baby and Ballora cuddled up together and went to sleep. Foxy was lying back with his legs spread out and his head laying on the cold floor.

You looked around the dimly lit room. It seemed that you were in the big stage room in the pizzeria, but the tables and chairs weren't there. You could see a silhouette in the corner of the room and a chill ran down your spine, as it reminded you of someone.
"H-hello?" you wondered.
"Oh, my prince," Freddy said, sounding formal, as he stepped out of the shadows in a fancy suit and tie.
"Freddy?" you gasped.
"There's no need to be afraid. This is your night," Freddy told you.
"Huh?" you asked, before a bright light shined in your eyes.
You fluttered your eyes and looked around you. There were now tables set out with warm glowing candles on each of them. You looked down at yourself and gaped at the fancy suit that you wore. Freddy stepped up beside you and grabbed your hand. He pulled it up to his mouth and kissed it.
"Shall we?" he asked as he stepped back and held his hand out.
"Shall we, what?"
Suddenly, a calm, soft music started playing from nowhere and Freddy looked at you and smirked. You set your hand in his and he pulled you to him. He puffed his chest as he held your hand and the bottom of your back. You smiled sheepishly and put your hand on his shoulder. He stepped to the side, and you followed him. He suddenly started to quickly walk in circles. Your tailcoat swished behind you as the room around you spun. He pulled your arm above you and twisted you around. He extended his arm, and you did the same, then he stepped in front of you and back. He pulled you towards him and lifted you up by your waist. He spun around as he held you above his head.
"You look absolutely beautiful, as usual," Freddy chuckled as he set you down.
"Oh, thank you. Why are you all dressed up?" you asked as you blushed.
"Because, my prince deserves the best," Freddy told you and started to spin you around the tables.
He dipped you and held you below him. The lights of the candles casted a warm shadow over Freddy's face. He looked deep into your eyes and you blushed. He leaned in and kissed you. He pulled you up with him and spun around with you. He tossed you over and you laughed as you spun off. Soon stopping, your suit faded away as your regular clothes appeared back on you.
"What?" you mused as you looked around yourself.
You were now in a dark and cold room--the candles that were set on the tables were now melted and black. You gulped and looked for Freddy. He stood in front of the stage, kneeling down in front of it with his head down. You walked up behind him, your footsteps echoing off the walls eerily.
"Freddy?" You gulped.
"Why?" Freddy croaked.
"Huh?" you wondered.
Freddy turned towards you, his mouth and eyes oozing a black goo. You jumped back and put your hands over your mouth.
"Why'd you do this to us?" Freddy coughed.
"I did this to you? What do you mean?" you worried.
"You turned, and I tried to stop you, but you told me I didn't matter to you. You said you didn't care about me. I didn't know you really felt that way about me," Freddy sobbed.
"No, Freddy--" Before you could say anything, he materialized into a black smoke and disappeared.
You looked around yourself, the tables shaking and the candles roaring up into flames. You shook your head and ran toward the front doors. The walls and floor stretched and the door moved away from you as you struggled to get to it. A loud sound of a door slamming made you cover your ears and close your eyes. When you opened them, you saw that you were in a dark room.
"Where . . . am I?" you whimpered.
"You're in the scooping room," Freddy said in a menacing way.
"Freddy?" you squeaked.
"Do you know why you're here?" Freddy asked you sternly.
"N-no." You gulped.
"Because we don't need you anymore," Freddy chuckled deeply.
"Huh?" you croaked.
"We've got our bodies, and now you're useless to us," Freddy told you.
"But, I thought you cared about me. I-I thought you loved me," you confessed.
Freddy's outburst of laughter bounced off the walls and rung in your ears. You frowned, and tears started to roll down your cheek. He stepped in front of you, the shadows casting darkly on his face. He looked at you and smirked as you whimpered.
"I never loved you. Why would I love such an irrelevant and simpleton human?" Freddy scoffed.
"But, Fredbear," you pleaded.
"Why are you the way that you are? I hate so much about the things you chose to be," Freddy sneered.
"But, I love you, Freddy," you whimpered.
"Anyone who ever loved you was wrong," Freddy hissed.
You took a step back and bit your lip. You fell onto your knees and buried you face in your hands as you whimpered. You began to sob as your eyes blurred from tears, and Freddy threw his head back in laughter. Your sobs became louder and your whole body shook as Freddy's laughter racked your mind.

"(Y/N), wake up," Freddy worried as he shook your arm.
You were whimpering and crying as you lay in a fetal position. Your whole body was shaking, and Freddy bit his lip in concern. You had woken the rest up already, and they stared at you nervously.
"(Y/N), please!" Freddy fretted.
Your eyes shot open and you quickly sat up. You bit your lip and crawled away from Freddy as you whimpered. Freddy grabbed your wrists and held you still. Your lips quivered and Freddy's eyebrows rose as you shrunk. He tilted his head, and you jumped towards him, wrapping your arms around his neck and stuffing your face into his shoulder.
"What happened?" Freddy whispered.
"W-we were dancing, a-and then I hurt you, and then you laughed at me," you stammered and shook as you gripped his vest tighter.
"Shh. It's okay. It was just a dream," Freddy mumbled as he rocked you.
"A nightmare," Bon-Bon observed as he crawled into your lap.
"What happened in this nightmare?" Ballora asked you as she set a hand on your shoulder.
"I--"
"Calm down. Take a deep breath," Ballora instructed and breathed in--you did as she did. "And breath out . . ."
"I was up in the pizzeria, standing in the big stage room. It started off so well. Freddy appeared, wearing a cute suit and tie, and he kept calling me 'prince,' and then suddenly, I was wearing a suit with a tailcoat thing, and the room was filled with beautiful candles. And then we danced and kissed, but then the room turned dark, and the candles were out. Freddy was kneeled on the ground, and when he turned to look at me, his eyes and mouth were bleeding this black liquid. I asked him what happened, and he told me that I did that to him and that I told him I didn't care about him and he didn't matter. Before I could tell him otherwise, he poofed into a black smoke and went away. Then, I tried to run away, but the doors just kept sliding farther away from me. And then I closed my eyes, and when I opened them, I was in this dark room. Freddy was in there, and he told me that he didn't need me anymore and that I was useless. I told him that I thought he loved me, but he told me he didn't, and he called me irrelevant and simpleton. And then he said 'Why are you the way that you are? I hate so much about the things you chose to be.' Or something like that, and then I told him I loved him, but he said, 'Anyone who ever loved you was wrong.' And then I started crying, and he laughed at me," you finished, ending up in tears and in a fit of hiccups.
"Why would I say something like that?" Freddy asked.
"I don't know," you sobbed.
"What does simpleton mean?" Freddy asked Ballora, and you whimpered. "Anything I said in that dream was just all in your head. (Y/N), I love you, in unimaginable limits. If I were to tell you everything I loved about you, I wouldn't be able to finish, because the world would've ended."
"Really?" You sniffled.
"Yeah. You don't know how much I love you, and I don't know how to explain it. You are my everything, (Y/N), and I don't even know how I managed before I met you," Freddy told you.
"Hmhm," you giggled.
"I love you," Freddy purred.
"I love you too," you whispered.
"Ah!" Bon-Bon squealed.
"The fuck? I'm tryin' to go back to sleep," Foxy griped.
"Sorry, I've been holding that in this entire time," Bon-Bon admitted as he bounced ecstatically.
"Yeah, well, let's go back to sleep," Foxy grumbled as he squirmed uncomfortably.
Ballora and Baby lay back down and fell asleep. You crawled back and laid your head on your pillow. Freddy crawled up beside you and lay close to you, practically on you as his leg draped over you. He hugged you as Bon-Bon crawled and lay on your chest, facing you. Freddy hummed as he closed his eyes, and your eyelids drooped.
