Right. I've seen that in some American movies... So can Sombody tell me if The American People really bathe their babies in sinks? :)  ( And if they do - why do they do that? ) 

Cause people don't do that in my country: A sink is just for washing dishes - and Babies are bathed in their Baby Bath Tubs where I live! :D
