I didn't know which MLB characters would suit this so I just made the conversation between almost every kid and their grandmother who doesn't yet understand technology.

Grandmother: Dear, when you get home, please take the lasagna out of the fridge
Kid: Grandma, you texted the wrong person. I'm not Grandpa.
Grandma: Oh, I'm sorry sweet pea have a nice day!
Dear, when you get home, please take the lasagna out of the fridge
Kid: Grandma it's still me
Grandma: Oh, I'm sorry darling!
Dear, when you get home, please take the lasagna out of the fridge
Kid: Grandma, for the last time, this is your grandkid
Grandma: Oops! Silly me!
Dear, when you get home, please take the lasagna out of the fridge
Kid:...Okay

Kid: Grandma wants you to take out the lasagna from the fridge when you get home
Grandpa: Okay.
How come she told you and not me  then?
Kid: I'm done
