A girl with hazel eyes and shoulder-length light brown hair walks into an abandoned house. As she walks she spots many antique furniture and paintings.

"Woah talk about old this looks like they never fix it." Her friend said as she saw some rip out wallpaper. She had curly brown hair and brown eyes.

"Course they haven't they say some creep man has been here. So far no one is here my guess they just want to save this house. Just like they destroy the other's originals.

"Yeah I can see that but why."

"I think I know why." The girl said as she saw some pictures.

"It's because this was our hometown's founder house. It's an important piece of our town's history. If they destroy this place they destroy the last piece of history. By the law, any important landmarks mustn't be destroyed." She stated.

"Then let's show this to city hall with this evidence they can't destroy this home."

"That is if you two are able to leave." They turn around and saw the guy in charge of the construction.

"Why am I not surprised that you were behind this." Both girls grab the photos and the journal of the founder.

"I should have known you and your friends would be involved." He said as he moved closer

"Well it's was nice knowing you but it seems we should split." She said as she threw a chair.

"Run Alyssa!" She said as they went threw the back door.

"Hurry Gaby!" Alyssa yelled as they jump out of the window and into the yard.

"Boys release the dogs!" The guy yelled as two guys let two Pitbulls run wild.

"What do we do they'll catch up to us fast," Alyssa said as she looked back and saw them catching up.

"This is where these cookies come in. Hope you like them." Gaby said as she drops some dog biscuits on the ground. Which caused them to stop and eat them.

"Way to go!" Alyssa said as she ran to their getaway car.

"You girls need a lift." Their friend said.

"Step on it, Omar," Gaby yelled as they got into the jeep.

"Right" He mange to drive away before they could see them.

"Where are we going?" Alyssa asked.

"City hall if we get there now I know for sure the mayor will be the last one out. Plus we both know he has a habit of coming home at one in the morning." Gaby said as she got in the front seat.

"Right since he's your uncle," Alyssa said as they drove to the city hall.

Once they reach city hall they saw the lights still on. They ran to the steps and the stairs to his office.

"Uncle you can't destroy that building!"

"Why?"

"This is why sir," Alyssa said as they showed him all the pictures, documents, and the journal of the founder's home.

"I see well tomorrow morning I'll go there and stop that construction site. We can't have the founders home be destroyed."

"Right. Oh by the way you should hear this it's the guy in charge of the demolition." The played the recording and heard what they were doing and found it easy to believe that they got away with it.

"Well, they sure didn't with you three running around. But I think it's time for you guys to go home you have class tomorrow. And I for one don't think it's a good idea to have teenagers out late." The mayor said as he got up.

Time skip

Just as the construction crew was about to tear down the building the police came and stopped them. After arresting the boss the mayor announced that the building won't be destroyed instead will be restored to its former glory.

"I would gotten away with it if it weren't for those annoying kids!" The man yelled.

"Huh all we need is a dog and he would have said what they all say in Scooby-doo," Omar said as they laugh about it and walk towards his jeep.

"Man I can't believe we finish another mystery again. Now I'm bored." Gaby said as she kept walking.

"Oh come on now the time to act like a normal teenager is now. Don't you want to go on dates or something?" Alyssa asked.

"Nope and I prefer to stay like that it's too much drama for a relationship." She smiled as she began to hear rumors like always.

"I heard someone was killed in the woods by something. They said all that was left from the killer was a pickle." A lady said to a friend of hers.

"Really I heard that strange thing to leave at a crime scene. Could it one of those lunatics that's been spreading lately?" Her friend said.

"I hope not."

Just as they heard everything Gaby got that excitement in her eyes. That would only mean either she's excited about something related to a mysteries, writing or food.

"Oh no please tell me we're not going to find the cause of mysterious death. If we are I'm staying in the car." Alyssa said as Gaby just smiled.

"That's to bad what happens if the killer goes and tries to kill you in the car?" Alyssa stopped and thought about it and she sighs in defeat.

"Fine but I'm taking a teaser and pepper spray." She said as she kept walk.

"Honestly you sure know how to make her change her mind," Omar said as he got his keys out.

"It's a gift." She said as they got in the jeep and headed off to school.
