Let Me Go Too (Age 6)

You know who Quizzie is, don't you? Well, I have another story about him.

Once upon a time, every Wednesday after school, the Cub Scouts came to Quizzie's house and one of the Wednesdays when Quizzie came home a strange car pulled out of his driveway and drove away fast. Quizzie didn't get to see who it was or where it went. Quizzie ran after the car as fast as he could. Boy! You should have seen him! He was almost as fast as a Lamborghini and he stayed up with it for almost a block. In fact, I don't know how he ran that fast and he was only 5 years old.

At the signal the car window opened and Quizzie's mother shouted, "Quizzie you ran almost 100 mph!" But before Quizzie could say anything the signal changed and off the car went. Quizzie started running again with all the den of Cub Scouts watching in amazement. Quizzie was getting tired but he had to keep going. He ran and ran and ran. He ran so long that they finally opened the door and said, "Why are you running so fast?"

Quizzie said, "Let me go too."

"Alright."

"Where are we going?" said Quizzie.

"Home," they said.

"Home?"

As the driver turned around Quizzie said, "I'm not in the right car." He jumped into another. This time it was the right car and he asked where they were going.

"The 7-11 store, of course," said his mother. "I need refreshments for the Cub Scouts."

The next day in the paper was all about what happened the day before when Quizzie ran so fast.
