A live audience appeared onscreen as the theme song was played and the title of the show, "Funky Hot Talk" flashed onscreen. Rose, a pink pop troll with blonde hair, dressed in a white fur coat with a teal dress, and thigh-high open-toe boots, and her husband, Lownote Jones, an orange-stripped Funk Troll with purple and red hair tied in a bun and a blue nose walked alongside him. He has a purple goatee and wears golden-framed shades with rose-colored lenses; he also has small studs on his ears. Around his neck is a sparkling yellow, feathery boa. He has a golden anklet on his front right leg and a ring on one of his front left toes. His fur is long and gown-like. The two arrived at the TV studio, which is designed as a surreal, science fiction-esque landscape with bright neon details. There are two Chromcraft chairs at the left with a matching table, a flatscreen at the center on the wall, and a Chromcraft purple sofa. The couple sat on the sofa together as the show starts. 

"Today on Funky Hot Talk....." Rose said.

"My Mommy Needs A Makeover! YEAH!!" The announcer announced as the show starts.

"Remember Lisa? The shy homemaker in baggy sweatpants and a very scary mullet?" Rose asked as she showed an ugly pop troll's picture. The audience gasped when they saw the picture.

"Stuck in her ways, afraid to change?" Lownote sighed. "Let's see how the makeover specialist, Rita able to achieve in a week."

The cameras switch to the curtain, where Lisa was presented as a beauty, wearing a boho-chic dress, her hair is styled in curls, cowgirl boots, and a circlet. She waved at the audience with her new look.

"Isn't she lovely? But not as lovely as my boyfriend." Lownote complimented his boyfriend onscreen.

"Yeah, you're lucky to have him," Rose smiled. "Now let's see how Lisa's husband and son will react when they see her funky new look!"

A muscular pop troll and a teenager were revealed later, and they gasped at the sight of Lisa's new look. They were reunited with her and they cried together. The audience was awed at the sight of it as they left the studio happily.

"Best of luck to you all, and have a groovy day!" Lownote waved at them. "Okay, Rose, what rumors and gossip do we get that have lots of proof?"

"We heard of the cafe, The Chrysalis is selling sub-par products!" Rose gasped. "We'll get deep in this story with our guest today, Ms. Alice, and her BFF, Elliot! Come on now girls!!!!"

A purple pop troll with mint-blue hair, and an orange pop troll with glitter freckles and pink hair have arrived. They sat on the chairs beside the sofa as they keep themselves comfortable.

"Great to have you two on the show, baby." Lownote Jones. "You tell us what happened in that cafe?"

"Lownote, sir, our friend, Smarge got sick with food poisoning and we went to her house to find out why she was admitted to the hospital." Alice answered.

"We notice that green muffin and smelled it." Elliot added. "It smelled and tasted horrible. We know it was from The Chrysalis because of the brand it still has on the food."

The picture of the product was shown onscreen, causing shocks from the audience.

"Did you find proof that The Chrysalis is making all these poisoned foods?" Rose asked.

"Yes, and here it is!" The girls responded, showing the machine that is making all the sub-par products in The Chrysalis. The owner tried to defend herself but everything was exposed by the correspondents of the show. The audience was horrified as the rumors were shown online and it caused the cafe to be closed down.

"Well, I guess this rumor is X-posed!" Rose said, facing the cameras. The audience cheered for the hosts until the show was complete.

"Well, that's today's show, baby." Lownote said. "If you want any rumor or any dirty secret to be solved, call us."

"And if you want these proved to either, be a hoax or a true coincidence, you need to get some proof!" Rose added.

"Bye Bye!!" They both said.

Everybody applauded as the show ended. After the show, Rose and Lownote were congratulated by their crew.

"What a show!" One of the funk trolls complimented.

"Thanks." Rose replied. "But I wish there was something big, something exclusive, something that can tear the roof off the sucker."

"We only got minor stories and rumors." Bianca, a female funk troll nodded.

"Boring." Rose sighed.

"Let me and my baby think about what story we will expose on our talk show." Lownote replied.

Lownote was led away by a purple pop troll while Rose went to the dressing room for some alone time. There, her husband, Andre a.k.a Pibby, a light blue funk troll with opal green stripes, matching nose color, vibrant periwinkle limbs, icy blue eyes, and reddish dreadlocks with a blue green beret, a peace sign necklace, and a bracelet stood inside. 

"It's been so long since we had our alone time." Rose gasped as Pibby pulled her close and lifted her leg up.

"You mean, fuck your brains out, baby?" Pibby asked her.

"No, not that shit, when we go on a fucking vacation." She smirked.

"Just the two of us?" He flirted with her.

"Yeah, just the two of us, while Ambrose spends time with aunt Zee, the cousins, aunts, uncles, grandma and grandpa." She sighed.

As they were about to french kiss, they got disturbed by a knock at the door. Rose opened the door to see the producer of their show. He is a yellow funk troll with teal legs and purple dreadlocks.

"What?!" They gasped. 

"Being your producer, I was informed that Hickory and Delta Dawn are here to see you." He told her.

"Okay, we'll be there in the meeting room." Rose said.

Lownote, Pibby, and Rose arrived with their producer and writer to the meeting room, where Hickory and Delta Dawn were sitting.

"Hey guys, it's been so long." Rose said. "Why are you and Delta here?"

"We got proof that Creek is cheating on his wife, Poppy and there are a lot of things you wanna know but we'll tell it to you on e-mail." Delta Dawn answered. "If you can expose it live, it will be the biggest story your show will ever have."

"I remember, that fucking marriage is unhappy, unlike our parents, baby." Rose said, nudging at her hot husband.

"Awww, mommy really loves daddy so much, like us." Pibby complimented Rose before turning to them. "How did he cheat on her?"

"With his secretary, Arianna, Karma, and a lot of girls whom he flirted with in his yoga class." Hickory answered.

"Interesting." Rose said. "That would be a great episode for our show, but if you collect more of this evidence, you and the others can guest star on my show."

"You want us to be in your show?" Hickory gasped. "We'd love to!!!!"

"Who else is working on this?" Lownote asked.

"DJ Suki, Trollex, all of her friends." Delta Dawn answered. "But don't tell anyone what you'll read; it will be our secret."

"It's all set." Rose smirked. "That would be the biggest scoop in our talk show. We'll schedule it at the right time."

After the meeting, Rose and Pibby drove to another town in their car and went to a coffee shop, where DJ Suki is working.

"One green tea for me and a latte for Pibby." Rose ordered at the cash register.

"Whoa!! Rose!!!" DJ Suki cried. "You're here!!"

"DJ Suki, it's still me." Rose said.

"I love your show, I watched it during my shifts!" She squealed.

"That's so sweet, can't wait to hear from you." Rose sighed as she and Lownote took their orders and went back to their car. That night, Rose had dinner with Pibby, his sister, Zee, a pastel blue female funk troll with opal green limbs, light blue stripes, a violet nose, blue and pink hair in braids, hoop earrings, a gold choker, and bracelets, and his parents and relatives. Rose is feeding baby Ambrose, a baby pop troll with blue skin, reddish curly hair, an orange nose, and matching opal green stripes on his arms.

"So, mom." Rose asked her mother-in-law. "Hickory, and Delta Dawn are looking for evidence so that Poppy can divorce Creek and be with Branch."

"I always hate him." She groaned. "He is such a monster; I mean I caught him trying to flirt with your cousin-in law and I slapped him with my slipper."

"You saw him?" Pibby asked his mom.

"Yes, and at one time, I saw him flirting with one of his students as I passed by his studio." She said.

"Wow, I didn't know this was such a big deal." Rose said. "I can't wait to expose it on air."

"Tiny babe, if you want to make this thing exposed on your show, just be patient with Hickory and those people, they'll get all the evidence they need to show you on TV." Zee added.

"We got other stories to show, such as celebrity breakups, the latest gadgets, and other stuff to clean up before we get to the biggest story of all time." Rose said.

"You can show them first." She suggested. "Just be patient about it."

That night, before sleeping, Rose checked on her laptop and she got lots of e-mails from Hickory and many others. She opened them, showing lots of photos and videos of Creek with one girl after another. She downloaded them and placed them into a secret external drive. She checked on another e-mail and read something, but she sighed and went to sleep. The next day, the show had a segment about cooking and Lownote and Rose interviewed a famous chef about his recipes. Even though everybody loved the show, Rose feels anxious more than ever. Rose and Lownote were greeted by Quincy and Essence after the show and Pibby picked up Ambrose.

"Terrific episode, you two." Essence complimented them.

"Awww, thank you ma'am." Rose blushed.

"Is something wrong, sweetie?" Quincy asked her.

"There's this secret I read in my e-mail and I wanna expose on the show but Zee told me to wait till the time is right." Rose said.

"Hickory and the others are just doing what they can to find evidence." He said. "I never liked Creek at all, he almost seduced my niece, Star."

"You got that right, sir." Lownote nodded. "This affair thing is becoming a huge issue to keep a secret from."

"I really want it to be big." Rose said. "You know how I get crazy when I hear a rumor or a gossip slipping into my ears."

"Try to be patient, dear." Essence consoled her. "If you are still struggling with that feeling, you can write it down instead."

"Okay, ma'am." Rose sighed.

For many days, Rose wrote down all the evidence she got from her e-mails in her phone and kept it in a file. She tried to keep the secret while having their show live on air with many segments to handle and proving rumors if they are true or not. She also tried to keep it inside while handling rambunctious toddlers and squealing babies. In one episode, Rose and Lownote are interviewing Barb and her band on TV.

"So, Barb, how was the concert? I love how you sang onstage." Rose said.

"It was so gnarly, Rosethorn." Barb answered. "You should've seen me perform that song, Barracuda."

"I love that song too!!" Rose squealed.

"And nice drumming back there, baby." Lownote complemented.

"Thanks, Lownote." Riff nodded.

The show went on as Lownote and Rose were talking on-air with Barb and her band. Still, Rose cannot get the scandal thing off her head, even when she is about to go to sleep. As she was struggling to go to sleep, Pibby, who was sleeping naked beside her, turned to her with a smile.

"Can't sleep, baby?" He asked her.

"Yeah, I just can't forget about the e-mail I got from Delta Dawn and Hickory." She answered. "I just can't get my mind to loosen a bit."

"What?" Rose asked him.

Their latest segment became a hit as Rose and Lownote interviewed Sky Toronto on TV. He shared with them about his bank's successful business and his love life with Hector, a reggaeton troll who becomes his new boyfriend. After the show was finished, Rose got a visit from Delta Dawn.

"Rose, we got enough evidence on Creek's cheating." Delta said.

"Really?" Lownote Jones asked.

"We gathered so much evidence and gave you all copies right?" She asked.

"Yeah." Rose whispered.

"I am so excited to talk about this live." She squealed.

"Any ideas how we'll do it?" Lownote asked.

"Hickory and Karma got all the evidence so we'll tell you all about it, then you expose it on TV, and your crew will just film it." She said.

"Don't worry, this episode will be the hottest talk in our show and I know just the thing to expose it all over the country." Rose smirked.

"And I know who can help ya." Lownote nodded at her as he took out a cellphone. He clicked a phone number and said. "Hello, Cooper, can you and D do something for us.............."

Finally, the day of the episode was out. Rose and Lownote are ready for the biggest story ever to explode the whole broadcasting station. They arrived as usual but Rose is dressed in a butterfly top with bellbottom pants, colorful jewelry, and platform sandals.

"Today on Funky Hot Talk....." Rose said.

"The Biggest Cheater Ever! YEAH!!" The announcer announced as the show starts.

"You've all been waiting for this, the biggest reveal in all of the gossips we got." Lownote said.

"But our guests will tell you everything." Rose added. "Let's hear it for DJ Suki, Trollex, Hickory, and Delta Dawn!! Come on up!"

"Bo, cue the clock!" Dizzy Dreamer said while he stood in the control booth.

Hickory, Delta Dawn, Trollex, and DJ Suki arrived at the show and sat on the chairs. They were given stylish outfits and a makeover by Rita for this day.

"This story is the biggest reveal in our show." Lownote said. "Can you explain everything to our audience and our viewers about what you're up to? And spill it all here, baby."

"Me and Delta have something we want to share but we aren't gonna share until we get more evidence.." Hickory said.

"Yep we are working on it all I can say is it's about Creek.." Delta Dawn said.

They explained everything to Lownote and Rose, and Rose smirked, ready to show it in the show itself.

"So Delta you knew it was risky going to see Creek and yet you did it anyway how did it feel? And was it worth it?" Rose asked them.

"It was risky and I was scared but it had to be done I knew what could happen and when he wasn't groping me the massage felt great, I can see why they like going there." Delta Dawn answered. "But yes, it was worth it, I got Branch and Poppy together and this is also if I saved girls from getting raped then yeah it was worth it. Also, warning to you young girls out there, Creek is a fraud and he will manipulate you."

"So Hickory you've been dating Delta for a while, how do you feel about what she did and what Creek did to her?" Lownote asked him.

Then, Hickory looks at the camera.

"Karma if you're watching this a big thank you for your help and I wish you and your boyfriend the best you're a very sweet, beautiful girl, and don't sell yourself short, darling.'' He said as tipped his hat and nodded to the camera. The audience applauded his answer.

"Wow, is that all?" Rose asked.

"Yeah, I heard from Poppy, Creek is a creep and abusive in some ways and doesn't allow her to work and gets jealous if she is with guys." DJ Suki said. "And Poppy has a hunch that Creek is cheating on her but she has no proof."

"Well, this is going to be very funky because all your evidence is right here!" Lownote Jones said as all of the photos and videos were shown before the crowd. They all laughed and mocked Creek on air.

"I knew it!" Someone from the crowd rose up. "He is cheating on her!!!"

"Okay, settle down." Rose said as Zee went to him with a microphone. "Just tell our viewers why you have grievances against Creek?"

"During his yoga class, he flirted with my girlfriend!!!" The troll from the audience yelled. "And the next day, he flirted with another girl and broke her heart!!!"

The audience gasped after one of them told Lownote and Rose about it. More individuals also shared their stories about Creek's affair on TV. After they all shared it, Lownote and Rose looked at the camera.

"Wow, we had lots of people who have a grudge against Creek." Rose said.

"Now it is time for the biggest reveal ever." Lownote said.

The screen showed the scene, with Creek and a pregnant Arianna on the screen. Poppy enters with the cameraman behind her and a confrontation between her and Creek was shown on TV. The audience gasped at the sight of this affair as the scene was filmed live on TV and they laughed, booed, and jeered at Creek. The crowd cheered and applauded for Branch and Poppy. Then, after Branch and Poppy left, Cooper and Darnell released so many chickens into the whole place and they pecked on Creek and Ariana's things while they tried to shoo them away but to no avail. After the scene was finally exposed. Lownote and Rose turned to the cameras.

"Now that is the real X-posed story!" Rose said. "If someone treats his spouse like a broody hen, he gets more chickens for wives."

The audience applauded them as the show was broadcast live on air. After the show was over, Rose and Lownote Jones were congratulated by everybody in the hallway. Rose got a big hug from Pibby and Ambrose. Even Quincy and Essence are happy for them.

"Terrific show, you two." Quincy complimented. "I love how you exposed the evidence and it pays to keep the secret until it comes out at the right time."

"Yeah, it was hard but I will remember to loosen my head off this burden by letting it out through writing it." Rose said.

"And that's not all, the ratings have blown off the roof!" Cooper added.

"It really tear the roof off the sucker, baby." Lownote said as he is later joined by his boyfriend.

"It does." She agreed.

"But the court asked our permission to show this episode for the hearing." Essence said. "It will not be easy but all of the evidence is shown in your show and we all got jury duty. Will it be alright if they use it?"

"Sure, they can use it." Rose nodded.

At court, the episode of the show was shown to everybody. The judge knew who was responsible for this failed marriage.

"Being a big fan of this show, I am impressed that this show not only has evidence that Creek is cheating on his wife, but I will also see to it that justice is served." He said.

"Yes, sir." Poppy answered.

"Very well, not only Creek is charged with adultery." He answered. "I will grant this couple an official divorce, Poppy will get her full payment while Creek will be punished by paying all his debts."

The gavel was pounded and everybody cheered, while the rest of the jury mocked and made fun of Creek. Rose smirked as she and Pibby left the courthouse hand in hand, making Creek jealous of them.
