29. I Hope (triquatrain)
My only love, my soaring dove
Will you relieve my fear?
I love you so, I need to know
If you still want me near
My life is short, I need a port
A shelter for my heart
Your eyes are blue, I have no clue
If you want us apart
I can't go on, if you are gone
I beg you stay with me
I may seem strong, but you are wrong
So much you do not see
If you could stay, we'll find a way
To make it work, I hope
And if you leave, my soul shall grieve
But I must learn to cope
