It had been a hot, sunny Sunday at the Smash Mansion. You were sitting in your bed playing an app on your phone until a knock interrupted the game.

Crap! I lost again! And I was so close...

Fixing yourself you then opened the door to find Zelda with a book. "Hello {Y/N},"She said in her calm voice,"I was wondering if you could help me..."

"Help you? Depends on what you need help with..." Your voice trailed off.

Zelda nodded and opened a page in the book and showed it to you. It was the cook book, and this page had a burrito.

"Everyone's been requesting burritos lately and I have no idea how to make them, and I have kitchen duty this week..." Zelda grumbled as she closed the book.

You put a hand on Zelda's left shoulder,"I can definitely help." Good thing you liked burritos that you learned to make them for yourself.

After a whole lesson on how to make a burrito, Zelda finally caught on and made her first one. You clapped happily,"Perfect! The more you make, the more variety you can put in burritos!"

Zelda nodded slightly and then looked at the entrance of the kitchen. There stood the small knight with bat wings.

"Hey Meta Knight! What's up?" You asked.

You and the bat-winged knight had hung out before, so you were good friends.

"W-well, I came for {Y/N}..." He said quietly.

Did he just... Stutter? You thought. And you could tell Zelda was thinking the same.

"Well, I'm available!" You said and followed Meta Knight out of the kitchen.

He led you down the main hallway and took a turn to the right. He then went to the doors that led to the garden, one of the best places to be in the Smash Mansion. But he didn't stay in the garden, he took out the ladder and climbed up to the rooftop.

"H-hold on Meta Knight!" You said while struggling to climb. He looked down at you and grabbed your hand and shot upwards.

He landed and caught you, which made you both get a big pink blush.

"S-so why did you bring me here?" You asked quietly as he sat down on the edge. You joined him.

"Well, from what I remember, you told me that you've never been up here because of your fear for ladders." He said.

"Well, you just made me climb one..."

"You didn't even realize it until you told me to slow down."

You chuckled softly, which made his eyes seem to smile.

"Are you... Smiling?"

"Maybe..."

You smiled back, and he winked. Your face turned red, you've never saw Meta Knight wink before.

He laughed loudly which made him fall back on his small back. He then got quiet and looked at you. You looked into his eyes and could feel a spark inside you.

"{Y/N}, the main reason I brought you here is to confess that... I..."

You waited patiently, but you were eager to know.

"I love you... Very much {Y/N}. I can't help myself from smiling each time I see you..." He said softly.

You picked him up and hugged him tightly,"I love you too Meta Knight." You kissed his head and continued to hold him close.
