Y/n was not a very lucky child as he was born mute and because of this, he had a hard time fitting in with everyone around him, but luckily, he's a fast learner and knows sign language as we as gestures which makes it somewhat easy to understand this position of what he is trying to say or point out. He even knows how to write, and it helps him a lot, but he never had a single friend and not even his own family love and care for him due to his lack of voice or how hard he tried to make friends.

Eventually, this caused him to run away from his family because he never cared for them even after they took a trip to a local toy factory that was recently shut down and abandoned, even when it was still open before the incidents happen behind closed doors.

The toy factory was known as Playtime Co. and Y/n has met a group of popular toys known as the Smiling Critters, one of Playtime Co.'s most popular toys ever made before one of the members of the group, CatNap was recalled after some incidents involving with the strange red gas that have people and children nightmares, which resulted in some bad reviews of the company as well as the cancellation of the Smiling Critters TV Show.

There was even the infamous "Hour of Joy" that led to the toy company shut down and left to rot, which Y/n managed to sneak inside the factory and had no problem with dealing with some of the other toys made by Playtime Co. like Huggy Wuggy and Mommy Long Legs as he made his way to the world of Playcare as he is willing to help out Poppy with dealing with the Prototype, unknown to him that the Smiling Critters soon found out that Y/n made his way back to Playcare and they are all glad that he had returned to their own home. 

In fact, they all suddenly grew a major obsession towards Y/n ever since the day they first met him, and they have been planning to make him a permanent member of their family in case he ever returned to Playcare.

What's even strange is that ever since the company's rating began to drop from up top of the roof to all the way down to the basement, they were doing some experiments on the original Smiling Critters that resulted in them becoming anthropomorphic Smiling Critters and they're all female.

That's right. Apparently, the male Smiling Critters, Bubba Bubbaphant, KickinChicken, DogDay and even CatNap went from male to female, and it took them a really long time to get used to their new forms as female versions of themselves and they are also wearing human clothes that best fits their personality.

But they all eventually got used to their new forms and seeing Y/n coming back has giving them an idea on what they planned to do with Y/n since he finally came back to Playcare.

They planned to turn Y/n into a Smiling Critter like them, but this time Y/n will remain a male and become a anthropomorphic Smiling Critters and they all understand Y/n's horrible life whether it was because that he could make any friends or neither anyone nor his family never even love or care for him, which is why they wanted to make Y/n into a Smiling Critter, so he won't be sad and miserable ever again. 

In fact, Bubba Bubbaphant came up with a plan to capture Y/n and how to give him a voice that he deserves to have so that he will no longer have to be mute ever again.

So when Y/n entered the Playcare through the railcar and was surprised to see how empty the whole place has become due to how much damage the toys have caused during the Hour of Joy as he decided to go inside the Orphanage aka Home Sweet Home to see if there's a bed to sleep on since he has been up all night avoiding any dangerous toys, solving puzzles with the Grab-Pack and doing some parkour around the toy factory and really need to get some sleep, which is exactly what CatNap is going to do once Y/n enters the Orphanage with her special sleeping gas.

Location: Home Sweet Home

After Y/n entered the Orphanage with the gas mask that he found that helps him breathe through the red mist that is inside the Orphanage. One sniff of that stuff and you'll be knocked out in an instant and head into dreamland, that is if you want to experience yourself in a dream...or in a nightmare about your deepest darkest fears.

Y/n is aware of the situation he's in right now and since he has entered Smiling Critter territory, he is making sure not to get caught by any of the Smiling Critters that could be lurking around in Home Sweet Home at any time.

However as he entered the Orphanage, he soon came across the red smoke in the room, which prompted Y/n to quickly wear the gas mask before going in to go find a bed to sleep on, unaware that the Smiling Critters are hiding within the red smoke, wearing a gas mask except for CatNap as she planned to ambush Y/n to knock him out while everyone else do their part in turning Y/n into a Smiling Critter.

Y/n continued walking through the red smoke until he heard a faint giggling sound, which he stopped for a moment before CatNap used her tail to wrap onto Y/n's legs to trip him down to the floor, causing him to lose his mask in the process.

But before he could quickly grab the mask, he was stopped a green rabbit foot that is preventing Y/n from escaping as the poor muted boy is already started to feel sleepy from the effects of the sleeping gas as he tried his best to struggle his out of whatever is holding him down to escape until he he was held down by the other Smiling Critters as they began giggling like a bunch of girls as a female anthro purple cat came out of the shadows of the red mist with her mouth wide open and the red smoke pouring out of her mouth as she shushes Y/n and quietly tells him to go to sleep and get some rest.

CatNap: Shhhhhhhhh~ Go to sleep.....

With that, Y/n lost the fight to stay awake and escape the Orphanage from the Smiling Critters and went into a deep sleep while the Smiling Critters are so happy to have him to themselves as they began to work on Y/n's body to turn him into an anthro male Smiling Critter with a voice box that will allow him to speak for the very first time.

Timeskip - A Few Moments Later

After Y/n finally woken up after a long and restful slumber, his whole body felt completely sore due to how much effort that Bubba Bubbaphant, Bobby Bearhug and CatNap worked together on the surgery and experimentation on him to make him into a Smiling Critter as he can suddenly smell the scent of his favorite flavor of ice cream, IC/f with his new and approved nose.

He then looked at himself to realize that he has become a A/s Smiling Critter and his whole new appearance seems to be represented as his favorite ice cream as he is now an Ice cream themed Smiling Critter.

Y/n: What the heck happened to me?!

Then Y/n was shocked to hear his own voice as he suddenly gained the ability to talk as this is the first time that he talked with the voice box installed into his vocal cords that made him talk.

Y/n: I.....I can talk....but how?

???: Because we all have given you a voice that you always wanted Angel.

Then looked to see DogDay and the rest of the Smiling Critters that slowly approached him and they carefully hugged him due to how sore he was after the surgery and they each gave him loving kisses to show him how much they loved and cared for him, which he suddenly, didn't seem to mind about them being that loving and caring towards him.

It was like he always wanted to know what it's like to be loved by someone who truly loves and cares about you the most and it felt very pleasant for him, being loved and cared by the only friends he ever had in his life.

Y/n: So, you did all of this, just to make me into one of you and give me a voice box to speak through?

CatNap: Of course, we did this for you because we all love and care for you.

DogDay: We are really worried about you ever since your so-called family hated and never give a care in the world for an amazing and wonderful angel like you.

Bobby Bearhug: The main reason why we turn you into a Smiling Critter like us is because we wanted to give you the love and care you deserved.

CraftyCorn: Yes. It just tears our own hearts out....just to think of all the trouble and hatred you had to deal with in your life.

Hoppy Hopscotch: To be honest, if your parents or your so-called friends were here, I would literally beat the living daylights out of them.

KickenChicken: Me too. They don't deserve something as great as you. 

Bubba Bubbaphant: Also, we figured you would look like great and very handsome as a A/s ice cream themed Smiling Critter since you always like IC/f ice cream.

PickyPiggy: Yeah, I always remembered your favorite ice cream when you were with us that one time during National Ice Cream Day at the lunchroom. So, I gave them the idea of your new look and scent. What do you think?

Y/n have never thought to hear them say all the nice things about him and how much they all loved and cared for him this much as they are willing to make him a part of the family since he has nowhere else to go to live with that he can fully trust with as the Smiling Critters all loved Y/n as they did all of this for him to be one of them and he suddenly didn't mind this at all and he is very happy that he has the Smiling Critters that all loved and cared for him as he decided to give each and every one of them a kiss to show his appreciation for their efforts in making him a part of their family, which they all blushed and they actually didn't mind as they all enjoyed that kiss from Y/n as they decided to celebrate their newest member of their family.

Y/n: I love everything that you all did for me, and I am very happy to be a part of your family.

And so, with Y/n accepting his new life as one of them, the Smiling Critters carefully took Y/n to his new room, where they have one last 'special' surprise to make their relationship that they all agreed to share with Y/n more 'intimate' as a way to make their family bigger than ever.

After all of the trouble, Y/n have finally gotten the happiness he deserved, thanks to his family and future wives at Playcare.
