We are starting the last week of the second month... And, this month of February is also Cherry Month! You can enjoy cheery in all its forms at any time of the year, for one thing, but you can also just get mesmerized by the spectacle of the cherry trees blossoms fluttering in the warmer days of the end of February. At this time of the year, the trees are in full bloom in Okinawa, to enjoy the beginning of the Sakura/Hanami season...

What is better than enjoying the sights of those pink, small leaves fluttering, than to watch them while eating tortillas? Let's celebrate the early coming of spring on the 24th of February with Tortilla Chip day!

Another way to enjoy the cherry trees, or the cake under the cherry, could be while telling a fairy tale. How will you celebrate Fairy Tale day on February 26th? Perhaps someone will write a story of a fairy in the tree, born from the blossoms... 

Talking about fairy, there is a little lady we celebrated every now and then when, as youngling, we had a quivering tooth... Let's remember those happy times of finding a surprised coin under our pillow and let's celebrate the Tooth Fairy day on February 28th. Would you write to the sweet little creature to thank them for all those candies you had purchased with your "tooth-money"?

Then, coming March, the first of the month would be the perfect time to enjoy the cherry trees, as March the 1st is the Day of Unplugging. Let's enjoy Nature and its creations with our own eyes, by getting out in the open, and not behind the window screen of our technology...

And how about following the amazement of our surroundings by celebrating the Old? Old Stuff day on March the 2nd is the perfect occasion to rediscover the past by its remnants or simply by enjoying the crafts of passed times...
