The end of October is nearing. The last preparations before Halloween are on their way... Don't lose the direction, don't stray out of the path... as this week is Map Reading Week! Does it inspire you a Pirate story, with treasure map and all? Or perhaps a wonderful adventure of lost city and old worlds?

Many things will happen this week, so keep your map near you to guide you to the different important days to celebrate and observe.

How about shouting to all the Interweb about your feelings, today, 22nd of October? Today, you can be forgiven for this breach of netiquette, as it is Caps Lock Day.

Enjoyed the shouting, virtual as it is? Then how about cranking it up a bit with turning Punk For A Day on the 25th? Sounds like an good date to try writing this punk story you ever wanted... There are so many punk subgenres to exploit? and how about a Wattpunk story?

Hopefully, being punk a day will not leave too much of a sour taste on your tongue... even though this 25th of October is also the Sourest Day... 

If Punk is not your style, how about trying to turn into a werewolf? October 26th is the perfect day for that, considering it is Howl At The Moon day! Will you be tempted to write a Werewolf story?

How about mixing in a bit of fright with the shape-shifting monster? The last Friday of October, 26th this year, is also Frankenstein Friday. The best occasion to delve in all the Halloween folklore and get inspired by it as you done your costume to celebrate Halloween!

All this preparation will probably let you ready to deal with Cranky Co-Workers on their dedicated day, the 27th. The best way to celebrate this special day is probably to do nothing at all, no cheering, no talking... or perhaps... How about Telling a Story? The same day as celebration of cranky co-workers is Tell A Story day. So... how about telling those people you work with about the fabulous story you invented? Imagine... It all started with a mysterious map, leading your steps through a maze of punk verses mixed with a bit of fantasy and horror, a treasure hunting adventure, fighting hordes of cyber-terrorists,  with a shape-shifter and the Creature of Frankenstein as crew members...
