Meg's Point Of View.

I put my coat on, and yet again I opened another lollipop. I grabbed my rifle, and waited for the others to get ready.

Seeing Erin, Alex and Triss, I just got the hunch that Finlay is taking forever.

"Why is he taking so long to get his stuff?" I irritatedly say. "I thought girls were supposed to be the ones who are slow."

"Now, Now, Meg!" Erin says happily.  "Women are different from men."

"Yeah, whatever. . not impressed." I said giving her a blank face.

Erin looks away. "Don't give me that face. . your offending me. . "

"Where are we going?"

I looked at the big gate, and see Triss' determined face.

"To the Castellan Hall. " She replied back. "If we go and hunt for books and scrolls here, we might find clues about him."

"You. . mean. . " I said while I yawned. "Yuraki. . ?"

She nodded.

Finlay raised his hands. "Do we have any certain plans for this?"

"Well,  we will need to split up, so since we are five in all. . "

"Split up to two groups." I continued. "Basically, we need someone to get. . the scrolls. . while the others. . are the ones. . who find the books. . "

"Thanks for continuing!" She beamed happily. "My throat is dying. . "

"Pleasure. . "

We went inside the gate, seeing cobblestone, and two pathways to the left and right. Me, Triss and Finlay will be the one who will find for the scrolls, while Erin and Alex will be the one finding for books.

"Okay, we will be heading right, while Erin and Alex, you guys take left." She commanded. "We'll meet you up in the center."

"On it,Triss!" They said while they saluted, and went along their ways.

"I kinda need tad help here. . . . "

We all looked at the back, it was Finlay, getting injured by this. . . look - like - rose turret, it was shooting bullets to him endlessly.

I immediately grab my rifle and started aiming for the flower. One shot, defeated easily.

"Finlay, how come you haven't defeated it easily?" Triss asked with confusion
"It looks really easy."

"Sorry, I'm not that kinda used to fighting now a days." He said. "Sorry."

"Well, Meg, can you escort him?"
"Okay. . . "

Finlay backed away, and stayed beside me, not that close, just a tad bit far away.

We went straight and left, seeing multiple enemies in sight.

"Stay behind me." Triss commanded. "Meg, aim for the far ones, and Finlay, distract em for me, please?"

"Sure. ."

I looked at the telescope thingy on my rifle, and aimed for a invisible. . . something, holding a shield and a sword. I pulled the trigger, and boom. Worked.

I continued doing it, but I ran to the middle and laid a trap for them, while Triss, continued to attack the flower creatures with her shield, while Finlay held his dagger and stabbed a warrior riot.

I stayed in the shadow corridor and aimed for everything, just I was about to hit. .

"Triss, Finlay, run!"

They obeyed, and ran to me and that's when the trap was triggered.

I do feel exhausted easily.

All I see was dust and ashes on the ground, and. . a. .

"Look! A scroll!" Triss said whole she pointed and ran to it. "Lemme see. . "

She removed the red tie on the middle, and started reading it.

"As soon he was born he was curious
Out of curiosity, he grabbed his father's tool
And realized something
That it will always work for humanity."

"What. . . was that suppose to mean?" I interrogated, while I licked my lollipop. "Feels funny though."

"I don't know." She responded back. "We might want to keep this for a while until we reached the middle."

"Well, let's continue. . ?" Finlay asked slowly.

"Sure, why not?"

There was a small stone stairway going down, and we went down. We saw  of boneless skeletons. Nothing new.

This feels like when we went to the Mirage temple. . .

"Stop, don't use your abilities yet," Triss said while she raised her shield. "They might silence it."

"Again. . ?"
"Yep."

Triss charged for the boneless skeletons, and I, aimed for the purple colored looking skeletons, definitely weird. While Finlay runs to each skeleton, and turns them to a pile of dust.

"You're pretty good." I complimented him. "Keep it up. . "

"Thanks!"

There was a another gate again, this time, the metal were rusty, and the atmosphere feels scary and creepy.

I looked at it.

I groaned. "Why a MK-Ultron again?"

"That's how it works, I guess."

I sighed, and get ready for my shooting stance.

Triss and Finlay dashed to them.

Except, there were blue, Orange, and yellow shields over them.

"Meg!" She called. "Attack the shield with your color!"

"Okay!"

I grabbed a bullet, and out it inside my rifle, and looked at my target, it was starting to make the ground shake though. So I pulled the trigger, and it turned to broken pieces of metal.

"Thanks! Now be our back up!" She commanded. "Finlay, stay in the back!"

"On it!"

He ran to the back with both of his blades crossing to each other, he prepared his fighting stance, same goes for me.

She shouts loudly, while the big, metal enemy flew to the air, while its shield disappeared.

Triss moves backwards to us, and clapped.

"Now, Finlay, your chance!" She said while sweat overcomes her. "Shoot,I have injuries. . "

I grabbed a extra bandage inside my coat and ointment. "You okay?"

"Yeah,thanks. . "

I stopped for a little while, noticing Triss' red rose eyes.

Her eyes. . . .

"Meg?"
"Oh. . sorry. . "

After I wrapped her left arm with bandages, she starts commanding again.

"Finlay!" She yelled. "Give your other blade to me!"

As he attacks, he looks back to us quickly. "Why?"

"Just give it!"

He quickly gives his yellow - colored blade to Triss, and she dashes to  enemy's back, with her shield up for protection, I put on a trap, except, It can hit me really strong as well. It can hit in all directions.

She then stabs; instead, it was not in the back, it was in the metal arms of it.

"I missed!" She said, realizing. "Meg, shoot!"

I pulled the trigger yet again and after that. .

"Run!"

Triss dashed while Finlay runs to me with his other blade from Triss tossed back to him. Triss went to the front and protected us with her shield.

And that's when the trap was activated.
