Triss' Point of View.

"Hm, if you wish then." Carter said with his firm expression. "Bring it."

The diamond began to glow again, my eyes glowed red again.

This is my normal eye color, red.

I dashed to him staggeringly, and attacked him with everything I got.

He decided to counter, leaving me in the floor,injured.

My red eyes glared at him fiercely, his scythe was vibrant light, attacking me.

Why couldn't I use my shield properly?

I raised up my shield slowly, avoiding his scythe.

It leaves scratches in the shield, then he shouts .

Seriously, he got that ability too?

I stood up again, trembling, but I'm trying to keep my gesture. I dashed to him again and jumped up; and attacked. He was in the ground. His scythe crossing my shield.

I tried forcing my shield in to him, but that's what he did, he pushed his scythe to me, leaving me stunned to the ground.

I couldn't give up yet, I'm a defender.

I stood up once again, trembling, sweating, and clammy palms.

"Triss, you want me to he-"

"No! This is my fight!" I shouted to Erin. I didn't intentionally need to do that.

Erin backed away a little; seeing my eyes red like rose petals. Her eyes were wide;shocked. She grabbed her gun, and put it beside her.

"J-Just tell me of you want help, O-Okay?" She said while a fake smile plastered to her face. "Tough girls need help sometimes.

" Thanks for the offer." I said while looking back to Carter. "You know what to do, right, Miss engineer?"

"Mhm!"

"What are these girls planning. . . " I hear Carter say with a sigh. "Come on! Continue!"

I wiped my sweat from my face, and immediately attacked him and shouted, making him go up and plop down to the ground.

He tries to stand up, "You ladies are good, I might even a learn one or two things from you ladies." He said while stand up again.

"You ladies are good. My men might even learn one or two things from you ladies. "

Déjà vu. . .

I decided to ignore it, and started attacking again, but it didn't work.

"My turn now." He said while he disappeared out of sight.

Predict what might come next, your a sentinel. . .

Up.

I raised my shield up, seeing Carter's scythe only to the face of the shield.

If it's only the scythe, then. . . where is he-

My thought were interrupted my a slash on my arm.

I held my arm tight: avoiding the blood loss that was dripping endlessly.

I looked back at everyone, seeing them startled and frightened.

"You need back - up!" Erin worriedly said. "Please, Triss!"

I was solemn for a second, but I spoke up.

"Fine. But don't screw up."

"Of course!" Erin said happily. "Come on, everyone, let's beat this guy up to pieces!"

They ran towards him, with their weapons prepared.

Erin's weakness. . .

Alex's weakness. . .

Meg's weakness. . .

Kennedy's weakness. . .

I've got a bad feeling about this.

"Die!" Alex shouts to him while she uses his hammer. "Die you monster!"

He just dodged and jump quickly, leaving Alex puzzled and dizzy. Alex continues to attack Carter, but no luck.

He grabbed his scythe and slashed Alex's face.

"One down," He said while blood drips to the grass. "Four more to go."

I glared at him.

"You. . " I said, with my heart full of rage and anger. "Go away."

"Well, she was weak," He articulated with boredom. "The engineer might be interesting."

I immediately stayed with Erin's side, protecting her with my shield.

"TRT lockdown!" She ordered. The drone up above and started shooting.

As she ran, I followed her, giving her protection.

Somehow. . this guy. . makes me do what he wants.

"Separate."

I got separated from Erin, and Erin really needs a shield, how can J get to her?

She raises up her gun. "Go away!" She yelled. "Go away!"

She started shooting in all directions, I could hear her shaky voice, trembling legs, and frightened eyes.

One hit him, and he finally plopped down from the ground.

"Ugh," He said, annoyed. "You are interesting, but immature."

He let go of his scythe and pushed it to the other side, and he instantly ran to it, grabbed it, and hit Erin.

"You were a good fighter." He said while he looked to Me, Meg, and Kennedy. "Who else?"

Meg suddenly shoots him. "Me. Don't you dare hit Erin or my friends, or else, you'll be dead where you stand."

He scoffed. "I can't be wasting time  with you ladies."

I hear a crunch.

"Carter, you've gotta be careful and aware of your surroundings." I warned gently. "You might wanna run now."

"Wha-"

*Boom!

A loud explosion was heard, leaving Carter severely injured, having blood over his head.

He stood up, blood all over his shirt, and blood was all over the grass.

He just grabbed his scythe, and ran to Meg.

I instantly put my shield in front, protecting her from the scythe.

He was sent back to the other side; breathless and tired. His expression starts to turn angry, annoyed, or pissed off.

"Idiots. . " He say. "Idiots!"

Meg keeps shooting quickly and endlessly, making her tired and need more time to aim for him since he was turning faster and faster.

"No good." Meg says. "I can't do this, he's too fast, and he's at my disadvanta–"

The scythe stabbed Meg.

Meg plopped down to the floor, injured.

I looked at everyone's body, Alex's red clothes turn more red, Erin's face is almost covered in blood, while there was blood in Meg's mouth.

. . . .

I grabbed my shield tight, and I couldn't stand it anymore.

"I hate you!"
