Throughout morning classes i watched Lizzy instead of actually paying attention to the classes. She was sitting amongst the new kids and chatting with them like they were old friends. That thought made me scoff.

Lizzy had worn her hair lose today which hung down the right side of her neck. That alone made her look ravishing. Does it sound like i have a huge crush on her? Well i do. And i made sure that all the boys knew she was mine. But it looked like a certain somebody didnt get my warning.

When lunchtime came around i searched for lizzy. This time i found her with ash and blair and walked up to them.

"Hey girls," i said.
"Hey Cole," ash smiled at me.
"Hi. Can i get lizzy away from you guys?" I asked
"Of course," sabby giggled.
"I will see you in the cafeteria," lizzy said.

Once i was alone with Lizzy i turned back to her.

"I see the new kids like you immensely," i stated.
"Yeah. They arent stuck up snobs like you all think," lizzy said, smiling.
"I have also noticed that you spend a lot of time with one of them. Somebody caught your eye?" I asked in a teasing manner.

I watched as Lizzy's expression paled at my question. Huh? I was just teasing her.

"No Cole. I dont like anyone you know that," she lied.

The reason why i knew lizzy was lying was that she didnt meet my eyes. The second was that she rung her hands. Her two habbits whenever she was nervous.

"Thats good you know. I dont want anyone getting their dirty hands on you," i said.
"They are just my friends cole," lizzy said.
"Oh yeah? What about us then? Arent we your friends?" I asked.
"You are but cant i make new friends?" She asked.
"You can if the others considered themself in the friends category that is," i scoffed

I saw lizzy purse up her lips but said nothing. I saw cyrus looking at lizzy and felt irritation well up inside me. Looping my arm around her i pulled her close to me. This was the sign that i had possession over lizzy.

"Lets go get something to eat. I am hungry," i said, steering us towards the cafeteria.
"Hey lizzy arent you going to come with us?" One of their girls asked.
"No she's going to have lunch with me,"  i said, before lizzy could say anything.
"Actually i promised alexis that i will sit by her," she said.

I looked towards cyrus and saw him smirking. My arm fell from around lizzy's shoulder as i walked towards cyrus.

"Who do you think you are huh?" I asked.
"I am cyrus," cyrus said, causing his friends to chuckle.
"Stay away from lizzy," i said slowly.

I saw Cyrus clench his hands into fists and smirked. Good. I was working him up. And that also meant that he liked lizzy as more than a friend.

"And if i dont?" Cyrus glared at me.
"You'll find out that this is the biggest mistake of your life," i threatened.
"Who do you think you are kid?" His friend scoffed.
"You are a kid yourself," i said.
"We could squish that little head of yours," another said.
"I guess you havent heard my reputation then. Everybody knows lizzy is mine," i said.
"Lizzy is not your property," one girl said.
"Stay out of this!" I exclaimed, my voice getting loud.
"Nope. Lizzy's my friend," she said.
"Look since you are new and all that i am letting you go but next time i wont take things lightly," i said, glaring at cyrus.
"Oh yeah? Well listen here kid i can easily kill you without any remorse," cyrus hissed.
"Oh yeah? Then why dont you kill me now? Or are you just scared to get your hands dirty?" I sneered.
"Cyrus can we gget going please?" Lizzy asked.
"You are not going with them," i said.
"Lizzy can go with whomever she wants. She's a free person," his friend said.
"Fine. Then let lizzy decide," i said, crossing my arm over my chest.

I had complete confidence that lizzy would chose me. I mean we were longtime friends and all that. I had my advantage.

"I will sit by cyrus," lizzy said

I saw cyrus smirk but couldnt do anything. I didnt want lizzy to think that i was a bad person. I didnt want cyrus to win. I knew i had an advantage over lizzy. I mean she knew me since childhood.

I was going to win her over. And when i would win i will make her mine permanently. I wouldnt hold myself back when lizzy comes to me. And i knew that she would come to me of her own accord. Afterall i knew that cyrus was only using her and that  she would come back to me for rebound.

A little short but i wanted some action to happen! So do you think that cole will win? Will he really find out cyrus's secret? What will lizzy do?
