Kagami slid his tail inside his pants and pulled a baseball cap over his ears.  Aomine knew this wasn't exactly common, he'd never seen anyone else with cat ears or a tail, but he still felt bad that Kagami had to hide it.  Kagami looked at him as he went to the front door, "You really don't have to come with me, I know you have classes today.  You don't have to miss them because of me."

Aomine sighed, walking up next to Kagami, gently wrapping his arms around Kagami's waist, "When have you ever known me to be a diligent student and go to all of my classes?  I'm going with you, okay?"

Kagami nodded, smiling.  "Thank you."  He leaned up to peck Aomine's lips before pulling out of his arms and opening the apartment door.

They walked outside, it was a beautiful sunny day and Aomine couldn't help smiling.  It just felt so nice to be out, walking with his lover.  He glanced and Kagami and the look on his face made Aomine believe that the feeling was not shared.  Kagami looked as focused as ever, brow creased, slight frown.  He knew that whatever was going on was keeping his thoughts preoccupied.  Aomine just really wanted to know what was going on.  Maybe when they got to Kagami's Mom's house, he'd be able to find out.

The trip to Kagami's Mom's house wasn't long and before they knew it, they were standing in front of the door.  Kagami raised his hand up to knock, but couldn't bring himself to do it.  Aomine could see that he was shaking a little.  Aomine decided to just knock for him.

Moments later, Kagami's Mom answered the door, smiling as soon as she saw Kagami.  "Taiga, what brings you here?"

Kagami bit his lip, playing with the hem of his shirt.  "Mom... I need you to help me with something..."

She looked at him seriously, sensing his nervousness, "Of course baby, what's wrong?"

"Does this mean what I think it means?"  Kagami asked before taking off the baseball cap and twitching his ears.

She smiled, reaching forward to hold Kagami's hands, "Congratulations Taiga!"

Kagami was seconds away from tears, "It's true then?"  Kagami's Mom nodded and Kagami couldn't hold it in anymore.  He brought up his hands to cover his face as tears streamed down his cheeks.

Aomine wrapped his arms around Kagami's shoulders, holding him tightly.  Aomine looked to Kagami's Mom, "What does this mean?"

"He doesn't know?"  She sounded a bit shocked when she asked Kagami.  Kagami just shook his head, hiding his face on Aomine's shoulder.  She sighed, looking up at Aomine, "Come inside, sounds like you two are going to need to talk."
