"Aaaah!!"

The yell early in the morning made Aomine sit bolt upright in his bed.  He looked around him, Kagami's side of the bed was empty but still warm.  He hurriedly got out of bed, going into the hall.  He wasn't sure where the yell had come from but then he heard sounds like things getting knocked over coming from the bathroom.

Aomine rushed to the door, it was closed so he tried the handle but it was locked.  He knocked on the door, "Kagami!  What's wrong?"

"N-nothing!"  He could hear scrambling on the other side of the door and he knew there was something up.  Why didn't Kagami want to tell him?

Aomine knocked on the door, "Let me in."

"Uhh..." Kagami's voice was hesitant and distracted, "I-I'm going to the bathroom, just go wait..."

"Kagami?"  Aomine waited but there was no other sound from Kagami.  He let out a sigh, walking away from the bathroom door.  He figured that it wasn't life or death, Kagami did have a tendency to overreact.  He went into the kitchen, getting the coffee going.  After a couple minutes, he heard footsteps coming up behind him.  "Kagami, want some coff-" Aomine stopped mid sentence when he turned around and saw cat ears and a tail on Kagami again.

Kagami was blushing heavily, ears pressed against his head and tail drooping.  "Aomine, I... It's only been a week since the last full moon, this shouldn't..."

Aomine went up to Kagami, taking ahold of his hands, "It'll be okay, maybe they'll just go away again."  A tear was escaping Kagami's moistening eyes and Aomine brought up his hand to wipe the tear from his cheek.  "Whatever happens, you know I'm here for you."

Kagami smiled, more tears coming out.  He leaned forward, wrapping his arms tightly around Aomine, "I'm so lucky to have you."

Aomine hugged him back tightly, "Of course you are.  And I'm lucky to have you.  So don't ever worry about that."  They stayed in the hug for several minutes, he could feel Kagami lightly crying.  He wished there was more he could do, but he all he could do was hold his lover tight and gently rub his back.

Soon a beeping started, Kagami pulled back from the hug, taking his phone out of his pocket to see the countdown beeping that it was done.  Aomine looked at it, then at Kagami, "What's that for?"

"Just wait here," Kagami didn't say anything else, he just wiped his tears and shoved his phone back in his pocket.  He rushed off down the hallway again, Aomine assumed he was going back to the bathroom, but he wasn't sure.

Aomine patiently waited, at least for the first few minutes.  But Kagami was still gone five minutes later and that bothered him.  What was going on with Kagami this morning?  He went down the hall, finding Kagami sitting on the bathroom floor, head resting on his knees.  "Kagami," Aomine started to walk towards him.

Kagami jumped at Aomine's presence and quickly shoved some device that was in his hand into his pocket.  "I-I told you to wait."

"And leave you here sitting on the bathroom floor, crying your eyes out?"  Aomine sat down next to him, wrapping an arm around Kagami's shoulders.  Kagami instantly, turned to hide his face against Aomine's shoulder.  He could feel Kagami's body shake as he kept crying.  "What's wrong, Kagami?"

"I need to go to my mom... I need to ask her about something..." he kept his face buried into Aomine's shoulder.

Aomine held him tighter, "Then let's go, right now."

"Aomine," Kagami sat back a little, his eyes all red and puffy, tears soaking his cheeks, "You don't have to come with me..."

Aomine glared at Kagami, "You're not going by yourself.  I am going with you."
