Hearing Kyle's voice over the phone helps her soothe her anxiety, she takes a deep breath "Ky, I just got admitted to the Nursing School" he could hear the fear in her voice "And how are you feeling about it?"

She starts to cry "I don't know, for a moment I was excited, but then reality hit, how am I going to tell Armando that I might be moving to Massachusetts by fall?" Kyle replies "Well, he already knew you applied right? So he knew this might be happening eventually"

Gina clears her nose "That's the thing, I never told him I was applying for grad school" Kyle takes a minute before answering "Gina, I honestly don't know what to say to you right now, I mean, he's not my favorite person in the world but"

She interrupts him "I know, I know I should've discussed this with him but I was so angry when I applied, he got admitted to do his doctorate, and didn't even tell me about applying that I just went and did the same thing, all be damned"

"And I get that, but you cannot, for the life of you repay him with the same behavior, this should be a moment of celebration, you should be screaming and crying joyfully because this is your dream, it always has been, and instead, you are out here crying and mortified of telling your boyfriend that everything you've ever wanted is now at the grasp of your hand"

Gina clears her throat "I know I fucked up" Kyle giggles "You didn't fucked up, I mean, there are better ways to do things, but then again, we are only twenty-something, we don't have it all figured out, and pressuring ourselves to have it all worked out only makes it worst, so, give yourself a break, enjoy this moment and you can figure out what to do next tomorrow, but today, just enjoy it, celebrate it and just be present"

After hearing those words she feels more calm and relaxed "Thank you, you always know what to say" Kyle starts laughing "I should, after all the screwups I make, I better know what to say and do at this point in life" the two share a laugh "you know what, I'm going to open a bottle of wine, so video call me, we are celebrating this right now, even from afar"

Gina goes to her cabinet and opens a bottle of wine as well, changes the call to video, and sits on the couch with a glass of wine in her hand "So, here's to making it into the big leagues" they clash their glasses through the cameras

"By the way, how's life? I mean, we barely had a chance to talk at the wedding" Kyle looks at her with sarcasm in his eyes "You think? I mean, it's not like we arrived late after your detoured adventure last night, and then disappeared once again during the reception, or" Gina starts laughing "Oh please, a part of you is one hundred percent happy that I did what I did during the reception"

He smirks at her "Cheers to that, I do hope Joel rocked your world because good God if the two of you did not make the best out of it, I would be pissed" She gives him a naughty laugh " I know it was wrong but" Kyle rolls his eyes "oh please, you've been on an open relationship for years, you just never knew there was a third, so, now there's a fourth and you both lived happily ever after" they start laughing.

As the night begins to fall, Kyle says goodbye and hangs up, Gina puts everything away and heads to the bathroom to take a shower, as the water makes its way down her spine she hears the rolling door, minutes later, Armando walks in "hey love I'm home" she responds "there's dinner in the stove"

As she comes out of the bathroom she notices a red stain on the blouse he threw in the laundry basket, She inhales and heads to her room to get dressed, turns on the air conditioner, and grabs a book from her shelf, he asks her "hey, what are you reading tonight?" She shows him the cover of the book, and his eyes go wide "The Tales of My Neighbors Affair" "That's an interesting title" he responds she smiles at him "It is, juicy too, anyways, I'll be in bed if you need anything"

She kisses him on the cheek on heads to bed

After a conversation with her best friend Gina managed to calm herself down, now, will she be able to have a civilized conversation with Armando, or will everything go wary from here?
