As the weeks keep passing by, July is almost over and Gina is getting ready to head out into her new adventure, One of the hospitals near her aunt's house offered her a position in their OB department to start on September 1st, She had to start packing, her flight has been scheduled for August 3 and now she barely has time left.

Knowing that soon she'll be gone, she needs to have a final conversation with Armando to see whether he wants to give long distance a try or if this is the end of their joined journeys as she ventures on to something new.

A week later, Gina is giving one final look around making sure all the boxes have been loaded onto the moving truck and that nothing is left behind, Armando walks in, gives her a gentle stare, and heads to the bathroom.

Gina can sense his frustration, after ten years of relationship, they'll be hundreds of miles apart. She hesitates to follow, but lets him go, she turns to look around, her house, the home she built alongside him "Will this be worth it in the end" she asks herself.

Slowly she walks by the picture frames hanging from the walls, she stares at their Senior Prom photos, how time had flown, a few years ago they never would've guessed how fast time would pass, tears begin to roll down her cheeks, and she reaches for a picture, tearfully she stares at her younger self watching the ocean from a shore while he embraced her.

In the bathroom, he can hear the gentle sounds of her crying, he slides against the door, looking up he bites his lower lip and takes a deep breath, his eyes too begins to tear up, and he reminisces about the first time he saw her, wearing her school uniform, her brown curled hair bounced with every step she took, he shared a small smile, from that moment he knew he had to be with her, and in that moment, he stands up, opens the door and rushes to her.

As Gina feels his touch she breaks apart, tears and screams come out of her, and he holds her tight "Everything will be alright" he shares with her with a gentle voice "We'll be alright baby" he holds her face between his hands "this is everything we've ever dreamed off, and now, we are having it, we just can't have it together, but that doesn't mean we'll be apart either"

She smiles as snot comes down her upper lip "I just wish things could be different" he cups his face in his hands "They are exactly how they should be, Now, why don't you go to your parent's house and spend some time with them?" She cleans her face "I'm waiting for Sara and Kyle to call me" he makes a face "Oh I see" he turns around and heads to their room.

A better part of an hour goes by, her phone starts ringing, she picks it up "Hey guys" Sara replies "Hey, how are you" Gina, clears her throat "Better than expected, wait, have you talked to Kyle?" Sara takes a deep breath "Yeah, he texted me he wasn't going to be able to call in time, something about an emergency downtown, I don't know, but hey, at least I'm here"

Gina replies with a disappointed tone "Yeah, I mean, we always knew it would be hard for us to always stay in contact and available at the same time so, what the hell"

Gina keeps talking with Sara, The night begins to set, and she knocks on her bedroom door "Come in" says Armando, She stands by the door "I'm heading to Papa's house, Are sure you don't want to come?" He looks at her "No, you go and enjoy your last few hours with your parents, there will be more time for us to spend together eventually" he puts his headphones back on and turns back to his game.

Gina goes to the kitchen, grabs her keys, and gets in her car...

Gina is ready to go, will this next chapter in her life be everything she has hoped for?
