A/N: hello my Inkling Stars! This is a story involving the ending in Completing the Mission from the Henry Stickmin Collection, Valiant Hero. I know the ending here, many of us doesn't want to believe it as cannon, but unfortunately, it is. If you already know the story, then you can skip the prologue, it's just a summary of what happened during that path, but you can read my way of wording it! If you didn't read it (which is less likely to stumble here) then either watch or play the game, or read the prologue! Anyway! Here we go!  Keep in mind, I'll be making them human because it might make more sense! If your uncomfortable with that, tell me and I'll change them back to stickmen! There might be ships, but I won't tell what :) don't wanna get attacked in the middle of class-

Infiltrating the airship

Henry was head slammed unto a box, a sturdy one. He woke up instantly to find himself inside a moving helicopter.

He panicked as he moves in his seat, did the police finally catch him? Are they finally taking him to a place where it's impossible to escape? Henry laughed at that, he got away many times, he was sure he was gonna do it again.

"well look who decided to wake up~" a voice calls to him. Henry jumped in his sit, to see a man in military clothes. Were they taking him to military? Henry was mildly surprised, "I'll introduce myself as the general. You might be wondering why your here", Henry wanted to speak, but remembered he lacked the voice, so just nodded.

The General hummed, "I'll explain then, we need you for a mission" Henry tilted his head in confusion, "the Toppat Clan has been know to steal and rob, but sadly it isn't confirmed, so we picked you for the job. I don't need to remind you that you've cause your own crimes alone, attempted robbery, breaking yourself out of prison, and even stealing the Tunisian diamond! You may be wondering, what do I get out of this? If you agree to help us, we'll erase your crimes and no more trouble will hit you. Charles here will drop you off, the rest... Is up to you, do this right, and you'll be a free man."

The general walks away as Henry walks carefully to the open door to see a big airship with a top hat sign. "so... Uh... How do you want me to drop you off?" the pilot, Charles, asked Henry.

The usually game choices showed up and Henry started to think and predict what will happen.

Henry walked to Charles and pointed at his earpiece, making sure he sees he can't speak well. "oh, ok... Uh... Here..." Charles gave Henry an extra earpiece. Henry smiled as he patted Charles on the head and walks off to the door.

Henry held the evidence tightly as the government flew close to the airship. Henry used a force gun that helped him attack some enemies, and flew in the helicopter.

He braced himself for the painful inpact, only to find Charles hugging him to minimise the pain.

Henry smiled as he hugged Charles back, Charles jumped a bit, not expecting him to hug him back. He sat up, smiled, and went to fly the helicopter. Henry gave the evidence to the general and stood next to Charles.

Fleeing the complex

Henry couldn't cover his eyes from the sudden light as his hands were tied behind his back.

"plesent morning~" a strong Russian accent was heard, as Henry shook in his sit. "welcome, to the Wall" a man with a sinister smile showed up in the shadows.

"some of the most cunning criminals are kept here, and has never even escaped, and now we have the infamous Henry Stickmin." the man's smile widened, "you're gonna be here for a long time..." Henry glared, "take him away" then he felt hands on his shoulders and sharply turned.

"you stay here, til cell found" the man who took him to a small room had a Russian accent that was strong, he then concluded he was in Russia, he could be mistaken though.

Henry looked around as he hummed, his voice box was getting better after he helped the government with operation Infiltrate the Airship, but not to the full extent, and if he yells or shouts, his box will be permanently damaged.

He saw a pinkish red haired girl next to him, and a vent up top. The game choices he fully depend on to progress showed up and was surprised he can tackle him.

He felt he could punch some people, so without thinking, he tackled the Russian and sprinted out of there.

He heard the warden's voice get closer, he looked around his little space, nothing was there. He had the choice to surrender, or an airbag. He knew the star wasn't a good choice, he had a feeling something bad's gonna happen.

But he was too late, the warden pushed the truck. "alright everyone! Back to work! I will not forget about this" the warden threatened as the cars drove away.

But as soon as they left, Henry slowly climbed, slightly hurt. He saw they left, so he made a run for it. He hugged himself as the air got colder, his thin clothes weren't helping him warm up.

Completing the Mission

Henry was smoking a little. He got new clothes since he decided to live in Canada, after being there for a while he realised he got the location wrong. He changed every info about him. He was watching the news of the bar he was in until he heard it, gunshots.

Henry immediately ran out the bar to see the commotion, only to see the Toppat Clan go up into the night sky and Charles exhausted.

Charles slightly teared up, until he noticed a man in front of him. He bolted his head up to see he's old presumed dead friend, "H-Henry!" Charles continued to cry as he ran to him. "I-I thought y-you died!" Charles hugged Henry tightly.

Henry just stood there, then smiled softly and whispered "Charles..." as he hugged back. Charles slowly let go as he rubbed the tiredness out his eyes. (I know it wasn't in the original game, but I felt like it be a better reunion if I added this)

"drink?" Henry said as he pointed at the bar, "good stuff!"even if he can't speak properly after years of being mute, he was getting there.

Charles looked at where Henry was pointing at and said as he nodded "I could go for some shots" he smiles sheepishly.

Charles started talking about all the hardships he faced while Henry was gone, each time he teared up, but held it back. "geez, if you went with us, we would have gotten rid the Clan before they even took off!" it went silent, Charles sipped his drink, Henry continued to smoke, then Charles pipped up.

"hey... How about we take down the spaceship?" Henry looked at Charles, and remembered the other plans he did. "don't worry, it's gonna be a great idea!" Henry was reluctant, he remembered Charles multiple "plans" and each resulted to a fail, but he did find it funny, so he agreed. "cool! I think I know a way to get there, follow me!" Charles abandoned his drink, and Henry followed behind.

"open... Open...!" Henry whispered as the escape pod didn't open up. He had enough and punched it, "uh... That did!" he said as they went in.

"phew, well, that was intense..." Henry nods in agreement, "can't wait to go ho-" but Charles was interrupted by a Toppat member pushing Henry out so he can have the pod for himself. Charles went out and punched the Toppat and shove Henry in, but the Toppat stopped Charles from entering. Henry panicked and tried to help, but the pod closes as Charles wrestled the Toppat.

"d-don't worry about me! I'll find another way--!" as Charles said that, the pod then flew off, Henry panicked as Charles didn't enter.

"H-Henry?" Henry jumped, but immediately got the microphone out, "y-yeah! H-here!" Henry stuttered as he shakes, "m-man... That roughed me up... Got him though..." Henry placed his hand on his mouth, "there's gotta be another escape pod around here somewhere..." Henry teared up, "ugh... We did it though, we got em... Heh, pretty good plan... C-could say it was the greatest--!" but he wasn't able to finish, the ship exploded, Henry cried and yelled, too much.

He stopped, and tried to call out for Charles, but he couldn't, he broke his voicebox. He cried as he started to land on earth.

"General? The Toppat station has been destroyed..." a man who found Henry's saddened state explained the general for him. "excellent news!" the general looked at Henry's sad expression, "what's wrong?"

Henry stood close to Charles grave, they placed it next to a cliff with a beautiful view of the sea. It was his favourite spot to hang out when he was done with a mission or he was stressed. He sighed as he placed his flowers on his grave, stood up, then decided to salute him for his brave move, and walked away.

A/N: wow, took me awhile to write this, I hope you like it! I do not own Henry Stickmin, they belong to PuffballUnited, but some people decided on praising Innersloth, so I'm saying this now. This entire fanfiction is my own plot, and I haven't seen anyone do it, thank you and good night, I should get to class- bye bye my Inkling Stars~!
