Hangovers have to be one of the worst things to be going through especially when you have to get up early in the morning and meet someone new and look and seem presentable. After Jungkook and I left the bathroom, without getting noticed, we played beer pong for hours and sang and dance for the longest time. All I remember is laughing and then getting back into someone's car which I'm pretty sure was Jin because he's the one that made me stop drinking and told me we have to go home. 

"IS IT TOO LATE NOW TO SAY SORRrrryyy~" Jungkook and I slurred while screaming and singing the lyrics to one of our favorite jams. I felt eyes on me most of the night but I never looked around to see who was looking. I just wanted to have fun.

"Okay, okay that's enough you two. You're going to get sick. You're going to have a terrible hangover." Jin stated. He was fucking right. I woke up to an excruciating migraine and a phone call from Jungkook. I didn't even remember how I got into bed but I figured Jin carried me into bed and tucked me in. I love Jin so much, man.

I groaned as I ignored the call, not wanting to wake up at what seems like such an early hour. I could see light coming from my window and I tried not to look at it, knowing my eyes will start burning from discomfort. My phone rang again and I couldn't help but do a louder groan.

"What?" I answered with a tone. I wasn't in the mood to do anything.

"Mia, get up and get dressed. We have to meet Nina at the diner at 9:00 and its 8:45. I'm already outside your house." I widened my eyes and noticed that I wasn't in the right state of mind to meet someone. I was positive that I looked like complete shit as well.

"Oh my god, I feel like shit." I croaked through the phone.

"You don't have to-" I just hung up on him, knowing I was going to go with him anyway. If his girlfriend wants to meet me then she's going to meet me. I might feel like shit but I won't back out on my friend.

Without checking my phone for anything else, I quickly got out of bed and immediately regretted it. I held on to my dresser as I tried to calm my nerves and tried not to vomit right then and there. I hate hangovers so much.

Once I was stable, I grabbed a hoodie and jeans and threw them on. I brushed my hair as fast as I could and it looked kind of decent. I removed my make up from last night and washed my face. I figured I could go without makeup since I kind of looked good without it right now and also I just don't have the time. I ran to the front door and told my mom, who was cooking breakfast, that I'll be back later. Once I opened the door, I saw Jungkook pacing on my porch.

"Are you ready?" Jungkook looked at my attire.

"Yeah, let's go." I put my sunglasses on while we went inside Jungkooks car.

Once we got there, Jungkook noticed that Nina wasn't there yet. When we got seated, he seemed to be getting more and more nervous. I didn't know why, though. I was pretty excited despite me feeling like complete and utter shit.

"Jungkook-ah, are you okay?" I asked while pushing his shoulder from across the table.

"Yeah, I'm totally fine. I'm just a bit nervous, I guess." He started biting his nails and I knew he started shaking his legs because that's what he does when he's nervous.

"Nervous? About what? Everything's going to be fine."

"I know...its just...two girls that are super important to me are meeting for the first time. I know how girls can get lowkey shady and not like each other secretly." I was kind of shocked that he was going to think I wasn't going to like her. She seemed like a lovely girl from what I heard, maybe a bit worried, but lovely. She also makes one of my best friends happy and that's all I care about.

"You know how I am, if I don't like someone, you're gonna know right away."

Right when I said that, Jungkook widened his eyes behind me and stood up. I was pretty sure that Nina was here. I turned around and noticed she was really pretty. She had short black hair and was wearing a short little black dress and her make up was on point. I started feeling self conscious for a bit since I was literally wearing a hoodie and jeans. She gave her boyfriend a hug and kiss before turning and looking at me.

"You must be Mia. I'm Nina." She held out her hand for me to shake. I was kind of weirded out how formal and serious she was but she was wearing a lazy smile.

"Hi, nice to meet you! I've heard plenty about you." I gushed and shook her hand, making sure I made my friend look good, even though he has talked about her a lot to me.

"Yeah and you're the only one." She mumbled towards Jungkook while they sat down on one side of the booth, probably not thinking that I heard but I did. I raised my eyebrows since I wanted her to either repeat herself or correct herself.

"Likewise. So, you guys are best friends?" She looked at Jungkook and me.

"Yes, he's one of my best friends. We've been best friends for like almost 3 and a half years, maybe almost 4. Yoongi, who I met in 8th grade, introduced me to the whole group the summer we were going into 9th grade. I always knew he had other friends that he would hang out with so he decided to introduce me to them and now I couldn't be more thankful." I smiled and Jungkook smiled as well, remembering when you first hung out with the group and thinking how far we've all come.

Nina, unfortunately, didn't look too interested into my story,"Uh huh, so Yoongi and you dated right? Did y'all date from eighth grade till now?" It seemed as if she was trying to shove my break up in my face. I guess Jungkook told her about our break-up but I'm not even mad.

"Uhm, no? We were friends and then we dated at the end of 10th grade and then he broke up with me." I was kind of uncomfortable talking about my relationship with Yoongi when all I wanted was to make my friend look good. I look over at Jungkook so he can change the subject and he quickly caught on, knowing I was uncomfortable.

He cleared his throat,"So baby, what did you do yesterday?" He kissed her cheek. I smiled at how sweet of a boyfriend he was.

She rolled her eyes, which resulted into my eyes widening, "I didn't really do anything. I just went home and hung out with my sister since you went to go to that stupid party."

"I'm sorry, baby. Maybe, I can take you next time." He tried to reason with her before she started anything.

Before she could say anything, our waitress finally came by and asked us what we wanted and took our orders. Jungkook ordered a stack a pancakes, while I ordered eggs and bacon with waffles. All Nina ordered was a glass of water. She said she needs to be watching her figure. Well, while she's going to do that, I'm going to be enjoying my waffles, eggs, and bacon.

While waiting for our food, Nina thought it would be super cute to whisper Jungkook sweet nothings in his ear. I was literally about to vomit, but I decided to just check my phone for the first time this morning. I was kind of shocked on how many notifications I had. I checked my messages and noticed I had text messages from almost the whole group.

Sora: WHERE TF ARE YOU I NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING OMGJDIDHD

Sora: omg I'm so hungover

Sora: I can't believe you beat Jungkook at beer pong bless

Sora: taehyung was at the party gurl he looked so fuckin good im droolin still

Yoongi: you're probably still sleeping, i know how you love your sleep after a party

I smiled at how cute Jimin was when he found someone he liked, even though he just met her. I'm still hoping for the best, though.

I checked Instagram and saw I had a notification in my direct messages. I widened my eyes when I remembered how I didn't answer taehyung's message. I quickly checked it and noticed he sent me a picture and message last night while I was probably sleeping.

kimtaehyung: you looked so good tonight too bad ur taken

I widened my eyes and started choking on nothing. Jungkook and Nina both looked at me while she looked annoyed and Jungkook looked worried. I gave them a thumbs up and instantly replied.

omgmiaahn: uh thank you taehyung

omgmiaahn: and im not taken wtf lmao

My heart started beating so fast, I didn't even know what to do with myself. He looked so good in this photo. What did he mean I was taken? I slowly, but surely, remembered that Taehyung caught Jungkook and I in a promising position while he tried to calm me down in the bathroom.

kimtaehyung: well good morning to you too babe

kimtaehyung: why are you even awake right now, shouldn't you be sleeping...or did jungkook keep you up the whole night 😉omgmiaahn: OMG NO ME AND HIM ARE JUST FRIENDS

"Hey, Mia. Are you okay? You've been having this shocked look on your face for like 5 minutes." Jungkook asked when our waitress came with our food.

"Yeah, I was just on social media and saw some stuff." I locked my phone and smiled tightly while digging in. I glanced over at Nina and she was on her phone which made me feel guilty, thinking that Jungkook was probably getting ignored by the both of us, even though I only looked at my phone because Nina wanted to be all intimate in front of me.

"These waffles are so good, oh my god." I moaned while taking the first bite of my waffles.

Jungkook started laughing,"Get a room." I couldn't help but bursting into laughter . The diner was filled with our laughs while Nina was trying to act like she doesn't know us.

We both stopped laughing when Nina cleared her throat and announced that she was leaving.

"I have to go, I forgot I made plans with my friend at 11 and it's already 10:30. Mia." She gave me a nod and looked over at Jungkook and told him to walk her to her car. It seemed kind of sketchy but I didn't want to call her out on it. When he came back, he sighed and looked at me nervously.

He cleared his throat, "So...what do you think?"

How do you tell one of your best friends that you didn't like their significant other? If Nina makes Jungkook happy then I can't do anything about it. He seems to really like her, even though she can be a bit rude.

I laughed softly," She isn't my favorite person in the world and I'm obviously not hers, either."

"She can be like that sometimes. I swear she's nicer once you get to know her." He was quick to defend her but didn't seem too convinced on what he said.

"Does she make you happy, Jungkook?" I asked, really wanting to know.

"Yeah, she does. She may seem rude to others, but when she's with me, it's like she's a whole different person. Lately, she's been rude to me as well, but maybe it's the whole fact that I've only told you about her. I don't know, I hope I'm making her happy, you know? I know I've only been dating her for like 5 months but still." I'm glad he was venting to me but I was upset that he thinks he not making her happy. She would be stupid to not be happy with one of my best friends.

    "I'm pretty sure she's happy. Some girls are just not okay with their boyfriends having a girl as a best friend. It'll all be okay, soon." I reassured him as we finished our food. He smiled at me hugely and basically inhaled the rest of his food while talking about how fun last night was. We both remembered bits and pieces and just laughed through breakfast until we decided to just go home.

    Once Jungkook dropped me off and said his byes and see you laters, I went inside my house and laid on my bed thinking on what was I going to do with the rest of my day. I decided I was just going to chill at the house with my mom for the day. I grabbed my phone and saw it was 11:30 and went through my Instagram feed.

I smiled at all my friends posts and missed them already, even though I just saw them last night. I went to go make myself some lunch and watch movies with my mom the whole day.

I got ready in my pajamas and plopped down on my couch, next to my mom and put in "Just Go With It". We had popcorn and drinks set up all just for the movie. It was one of our favorite movies to watch with each other.

    A couple movies later, it became dinner time and my mom decided she wanted to make chicken alfredo for dinner. I asked her if she needed help and she said she needed more chicken from the store. I put my converse on and grabbed my moms keys so I could drive since the store was a little further from my house. My mom laughed at how silly I was going to the store in my pajamas and told me to be careful.

     Once I got to the store, I went straight to the meat section, which was really cold, and was grateful that I was wearing my fuzzy teddy bear pajama pants on. I grabbed the most reasonable priced package of chicken and left the meat section. I went through the chip aisle  just to see if they had any on sale and I saw a guy and a girl talking at the other end of the aisle. The guy and the girl seemed highly familiar from afar but I didn't want interact with anyone so I minded my own business. I noticed that their conversation was cut short when the girl, who I can't seem to recognize from afar, walked away and most likely went to a different isle. I looked back at the chips to see if I wanted any or not but my thoughts were interrupted when I heard a male, most likely the guy from down the aisle, voice.

"You look cute in pajamas, babe."
