To say that Mia was ecstatic was an understatement. She was so ready to tell everyone that Taehyung was finally her boyfriend. People will ask questions for sure, but she'll know what to say when they get to that point. She only worried about how people would whisper about Taehyung because of his past. Her friends would definitely worry for her but she can only hope that they can see that he has changed and that they want to be together.
Taehyung was having no worries whatsoever, surprisingly. He was just on cloud nine from the fact that he has an actual girlfriend and he actually loves her. Love is usually what he runs away from but now he has it, deep in his heart for someone that he couldn't wait to spend the day with.
"Hay!" Taehyung screamed as he finished writing a good morning text to his girlfriend. He has been waiting for Hay to finish getting ready so they can go pick up Mia and go to school.
Hay went down the stairs and went towards Taehyung who was looking at his phone lovingly.
"Uhm, I'm ready, but Jungkook is taking me to school," she smiled slightly, making Taehyung smirk.
"Oh, is he now? What, are you guys dating?" he wiggled his eyebrows to hint at Hay's crush on Jungkook.
Hay shook her head and rolled her eyes, "No, dickwad. Plus, I think you should just pick up your girlfriend by yourself," Hay walked near the kitchen to retrieve her backpack. She didn't want to intrude on their first day being a couple and she knew Mia wouldn't want her there either.
"You know I don't mind taking you to school, dude. Especially after everything you've done for me" he tried to reason with her since he didn't want her to feel like a burden.
"I know, but like I said" she breathed deeply, "Jungkook is picking me up," she looked at her phone and told him that she had to go and left.
Taehyung shrugged and smiled for his best friend. Jungkook was good for her, he knew that for sure. He doesn't know her whole story but he knows she's been through shit just like the rest of them. He grabbed his backpack and made sure to lock the house before leaving.
boyfriendddddd 💕

ok love
Mia walked out of her house and Taehyung was taken away. She wasn't wearing anything extravagant or anything. She was just radiating with happiness and he could tell. She gave him a fast but full kiss once she settled inside the car and giggled at how dumbstruck Taehyung looked.
"Yes?" she smiled, reaching for his hand shyly.
He snapped out of it once he felt her skin on his and just kissed the back of her hand, "Nothing, I just love you."

The school was hectic due to the upcoming games that were coming up and it slightly annoyed Mia and her friend group. They didn't take any part in the sports and it wasn't the specific sports that bothered them; it was the people who thought they were superior because they were the captain or were just involved in the team. Jiwoo was the captain of the cheerleading squad and it is obvious that she thought that everyone else was inferior.
Jin and Sora were sitting with Jimin and Aria while glaring all around them since everyone was just so damn loud. Jimin had tried to cheer up though and talk with his girlfriend since she always knew how to make him feel better. Aria's mood lifted up immensely once she looked into Jimin's eyes and just laid her head on his shoulder.
Jin and Sora on the other hand...were not doing so good. They have been fighting a lot recently and Jin has no idea why. It's usually because of Sora but he would rather blame himself than his girlfriend but he knows he didn't do anything wrong. She was distant at times and he was confused. He has asked about it but the conversation always ends up with her being a brat and stopping the conversation while walking away.
"Why are you so glummy?" Jimin asked Sora as she had her arms crossed and looking around like she was looking for someone.
She scoffed, "Why are you so annoying?" Jimin was shocked at the accusation and Aria was just downright mad.
"Dude, whats up with you?" Aria bit back, not liking the tone that Sora just gave. Aria wasn't the confronting type but she was already in a bad mood and she just called her boyfriend annoying.
"She's just cranky, right baby?" Jin asked as he scooted closer to her, but that was a mistake.
"Can you just stop breathing down my neck? Jesus..." Sora groaned and looked away from everyone.
The seated area was tense and awkward but that was until they saw Mia and Taehyung walking towards them. No one really questioned on why they were walking together, they were friends after all.
"Hey, guys! What's up?" Taehyung flashed his smiled at everyone.
"Hey Tae," Sora said, which shocked Jin since he couldn't even get her say hello like that to him.
"What's wrong, Jin?" Mia instantly knew something was wrong with Jin but he dismissed it fairly quickly and told Mia not to worry.
"How are you guys?" Jimin asked, sleepily.
"Well," Mia started happily, about to tell some people in their group about her and Tae but got interupted.
"Hey guys," Jungkook popped up next to Mia as he was eating into his peach. He made a sup nod to everyone while everyone followed.
Mia opened her mouth once again but closed it once someone spoke.
"Where's Hay?" Tae furrowed his eyebrows. He would expect Hay to be right next to Jungkook since they are practically glued to the hip once they see each other.
Jungkook also furrowed his eyebrows, not knowing why Hay would be with him this early unless she needed a ride or something, "I don't know, I thought she rode with you," Jungkook nodded towards Taehyung.
Now, in many ways, Mia is lovable and would like to believe that her chracter is very likeable. But, right now, she is aggravated with how she can't even blurt out her good news.
"Anyways-" Mia started but was interupted again.
"B-But she told me you were taking her to school," Taehyung was getting slightly worried because Hay wouldn't lie to him right? Why would she?
"I'm sure she's fine," Sora smiled, still shocking Jin and Jimin and Aria slightly.
"She's an adult, she can take care of herself. Anyways," Mia was really not starting to like Hay and that fact alone was bothering her since she hasn't done anything wrong, per-se. She was just always with her boyfriend and her best friend. What's next? Take the rest of her friend group away so Mia can be left with no one? Mia knew she was being completely irrational but she had plans today. Big announcement plans and it seemed like everything was going downhill already. She breathed in and out and figured she could tell everyone at lunch.
"I'm going to call her," Jungkook said as he fished out his phone and sat next to Aria. Taehyung sat next to Sora who just smiled at him but he didn't acknowledge her since he was worried about Hay.
Mia just sucked it up and sat next to Taehyung and grabbed his hand from underneath the table. Taehyung instantly relaxed and loved that Mia had that power.!He didn't really think at the moment so he did what he wanted to do. He leaned down and kissed her cheek, with everybody at the table looking at them. Jimin, Jin and Jungkook widened their eyes as Aria just tried to hide her smile. Sora let out a small scoff, hoping it went underheard but her boyfriend definitely heard it.
Taehyung just smiled sheepishly. "I-I heard that kisses lead to relaxation and here was Mia, you know, with a cheek," he laughed nervously, "plus, I couldn't kiss Sora, I mean, she has a man," he nodded as he rolled his lips back to his teeth.
Jimin furrowed his eyebrows and snickered, "I- I think thats for the lips but I mean...I guess," he laughed slightly, along with Aria.
"Hay," Jungkook sounded alert, "are you okay? Where are you? Wha-shit. Stay where you are. I'm coming to get you." He grabbed his backpack and started walking away.
"Let me go wi-" Taehyung started but Jungkook looked back at him.
"It's okay, I got her." he said reassuringly and with that, he was gone.
Now Taehyung was extremely distraught. He didn't know where his best friend was and he could tell that it was about to rain. He knew she didn't bring a jacket either. Goddamnit.
Mia looked over at Jin who was whispering at Sora, but she seemed angry, and she didn't know why. Sora only got angry when someone messed with her or her friends and nothing dramatic was really happening in their friend group, so she was really confused.
"You know what? I'm getting sick of this shit," Jin muttered but loud enough for all of them to hear, and walked off into the hallway.
Sora has just rolled her eyes and looked down at her phone like she couldn't care less that Jin was sick of her shit.
"Sora, can I talk to you?" Mia asked and nodded towards the hallway to talk in private. Sora just got up abruptly and headed towards the private area.
Mia patted Taehyung's thigh to notify him that she'll be back. Once she spotted Sora, she had to ask what was going on.
"What's going on, dude? Are you and Jin okay?"
"Why do you care? This is my relationship, not yours," Sora snapped, crossing her arms.
"No but I don't like my friends being hurt. What's going on?" Mia was getting worried since she hasn't seen Sora so bothered, especially towards her.
"I'm just getting sick of it," Sora blurted out making Mia widened her eyes.
"S-sick of what? of Jin?" Mia didn't want to hear the answer.
"Of him. How nice he is. He's just-," she took a big breath, "he's just too perfect. He's always just so comforting and so...I don't know, safe," she started pacing back and forth.
"And that's a fucking problem?" Mia has never thought of those qualities being a problem but Sora normally dated people who were not good for her, so the safety and comfort that Jin provided probably scared her.
"Yes! It's just so-so boring! I want him to get mad, I want to fight. I just want something" Sora exclaimed, not caring if anyone was listening.
"What the hell are you on? Jin is perfect for you, he is what you need," she looked at Sora as if she was insane. Jin was the sweetest guy and Sora doesn't want him because he's boring?
"No, no, no," Sora shook her head, "he's not what I need. I need a bad boy. I need a man. A man like...like Taehyung," Sora smiled as if she got an idea and Mia didn't like that one bit.
"Taehyung? Wait," Mia's blood was boiling, "You still like Tae?" Mia narrowed her eyes. She likes her boyfriend? Oh hell no.
"I don't know, maybe," Sora smirked, "I bet he still has his bad boy in him," she started thinking about how he probably used girls just for his pleasure and in a sick way, that made Sora want him.
"What? You don't even know him," Mia was getting highly annoyed, "He's changed and I can see it."
"Guys like him will always be fucked up, Mia. That's what I like. I like fucked up guys, guys who need fixing. Lord knows Taehyung needs to be fixed," she laughed but stopped once she felt a major sting on her cheek, noticing that Mia had slapped her.
Mia honestly slapped her because of how she was speaking about Taehyung but she had to cover her tracks since she didn't want to make this a bigger issue by announcing her relationship with him, "That's fucked up. He has vented to us about his problems. He's trying to better himself. Also, to remind you, you have a damn boyfriend," Mia sneered as she got in Sora's face.
"Not anymore," they heard a hard voice from down the hall. They looked over and saw Jin who was looking distraught. He must have heard everything.
"Jin," Mia whispered, worried how things were going to turn out.
"You find me boring and you still like Taehyung? Are yo- what did I do wrong? What does he have...you know what? I'm done," Jin sniffled while walking to class as the bell rang.
Mia heard a chuckle, "Finally, I'm free," Sora was slightly smirking. Her smirk didn't reach her eyes but Mia just couldn't believe that Sora would do this.
"Well, see you at lunch girlie. Do you think Taehyung will sit with us," she laughed, "I'm sure he will,"
Then she was off to her first class. Now, Mia has a headache.
♡
"Are you okay," Jimin asked Jungkook while they were sitting together with Mia in class.
Jungkook looked worried and drenched. He was shivering but he didn't really care about that. He was mainly worried about the girl who he was starting to care a lot for.
"I-I'm fine," he shivered, although he was wearing a warm sweater that he luckily had in his car, "I'm just really worried about Hay," he looked down at his phone while he was waiting for her text. He kept asking if she was okay but she hasn't answered. He was really shaken up from what happened when he picked her up but he just hoped she was okay.
"What happened? Is Hay okay? Where was she?" Jimin whispered, trying to stay quiet since he didn't want to get in trouble from the teacher.
"I honestly don't know," he tugged at his black hair, "She told me on the phone, like literally on the verge of crying, that she doesn't know where she was, that she was lost or something, so I just got up and tried to find her," he rubbed up on his arms.
"How long did it take you to find her," Mia asked, slightly curious as well.
"Well, she shared her location with me and she ended up being near that abandoned house where all shady shit happens at? I don't know why but before I could even start my car, it started raining and I just- she was stranded out in the rain, looking so lost and," he took a deep breath, almost on the verge of tears for some reason, "once I found her, sh- she looked so lost but happy and she just ran and hugged me but...she was sobbing. She kept saying that she was sorry but I don't know why," he didn't think that seeing Hay sobbing in front of him would make him so emotional but it had. He cares for her and he doesn't want anything to happen to her.
"What did she say in the car," Jimin widened his eyes, that were full of care and worrisome.
"Nothing, I kept asking what happened but she didn't want to talk about it. I didn't force her, though. B-but why would she be near that area? That area is just not safe and I-" he closed his eyes, "I don't even want to think about if something were to happen to her," he admits to himself and his friends. He truly likes Hay and that was scary but in a good way.
"You really care about her, don't you?" Mia muttered, feeling like shit since she hasn't particularly been the biggest fan of Hay lately.
"I really do, I just wish I could help her," Jungkook stressed, "and why would she lie to Taehyung? They're like best friends, right? He seemed pretty upset," Jungkook had pointed out.
"Yeah, I'm sure they'll work it out," Mia reassured, not knowing if she truly wants them to work it out or not. Unfortunately for her, that wasn't her decision to make.
