"-and he just stopped and looked at me and said "Sora, I know we've known each other for awhile now and honestly, it's been wonderful. I like you a lot and it would make me really happy if you would be mine. So will you be mine? Will you be my girlfriend?" He was so shy, Mia, it was so cute." Sora beamed, Mia basically hearing her bright smile through the phone. Mia was happy for Sora, genuinely. Unfortunately, she just couldn't stop thinking about the tall boy with soft brown hair who broke her heart. When she came home, she expected to cry and not talk to anybody, but apparently everyone wanted to talk to her today. Since she didn't want her friends to suspect anything, she answered, of course, even though all she wanted to do was lay down in her bed, listen to sad music, and wallow in self pity. Mia didn't know why, out of all days, but everyone texted her, especially the person she wants to talk to the least.

Mia genuinely laughed and was grateful for Jungkook. She kind of missed him and was really contemplating on having him come over. She just wants comfort, to be honest. She doesn't want to vent or talk about feelings. She just wants comfort and her best friends presence. Jungkook wont ask her what's wrong twice if she doesn't want to tell him and he respects that.

Mia smiled and was glad that she was going to hang out with Jungkook. She hasn't hung out with him in a while since she was busy with Taehyung and he was busy with Nina, they just haven't had a lot time to hang out and bond. She made a mental note to hang out with her other best friends as well soon.

She started picking up some dirty clothes from her room while putting them in her basket when her phone got another text message.

Mia was done with his lies. She didn't realize that she was crying until she saw a few drops fall onto her phone. She deleted his number but she can't delete him from her memory, unfortunately. Mia sniffled and shook her head to get a hold of herself. I refused to cry because of another boy.

When Mia finally calmed down, Sora decided to text her. It's like she has a sixth sense, what the fuck? Mia thought.

Mia furrowed her eyebrows and called Sora.

"MIA!" Sora whisper-yelled. And that was when she told her about Jin asking her out.

Mia made a small smile but tried to sound enthusiastic as possible. "That's awesome, Sora! Took him long enough." she semi laughed which made Sora giggle.

"Yeah, I know right? But hey I'm about to go since he's actually on his way back. He went to go get ice cream real quick so I decided to tell my best friend the news first." Sora laughed again and it was a nice sound to Mias ears. She's used to sarcasm being laced within her voice, so it was refreshing to hear her genuinely laugh.

"Well, I'm honored." Mia joked softly.

"You're okay, right? I just have a feeling like you're a bit off and I just want to make sure that my sixth sense is just off for some reason."

Mia gulped. It's always been like this ever since they became close. They somehow both knew if the other was upset without someone saying anything. It was a good thing to have but Mia didn't want to admit to her problems but yet again she didn't want to lie to Sora. Also, she liked Taehyung, Mia. Mia widened her eyes at her recent realization and started coughing roughly.

"I-I'm fine, Sora. Don't worry about me. Have a good time on the rest of your date!" Mia beamed half heartedly and ended the call before the other could suspect anything else. Smooth, Mia, Smooth.

Jungkook was in the store currently and was looking at all the snacks he could get. He contemplated on getting Hot Cheetos or Potato Chips. Which one would Mia want? Jungkook thought in his head. He knew something was up with Mia and he just wanted to make his best friend feel better. Both? Both.

He gathered all his food that he wanted from the snack isle (chips, candy, popcorn, etc.) and put them in his basket. Fuck, don't forget the drinks! Jungkook speedily walked towards the beverages and grabbed his and Mias drinks. He knew Mia well enough that he didn't even need to be told on what to get for her when she felt shitty or when he was just getting snacks in general.

He went into the line and felt his phone vibrate.

Jungkook smiled, happy that his girlfriend finally texted after two hours of waiting after school. He was happy with her and he felt like things couldn't get any better. She's been nicer and they barely fought now. He hoped that she wouldn't mind if he went over to Mias house. God, that would be a terrible situation. He wouldn't back out on Mia, though. He knew Mia didn't feel good, period or not. He was gonna be there for her. He felt like he hasn't seen her in a long time and he misses her.

Jungkook gulped. Usually, when Nina put a winky face, she wanted to start talking very inappropriately. Normally, Jungkook wouldn't mind and would jump on this train faster than a cheetah can run, but he wasn't going to be home until later that night.

Jungkook pulled his lips into a tight line and hoped that she would just blow it off and not get mad.

Jungkook waited for her response but it didn't come in yet and he furrowed his eyebrows. Before he could think too much into it, he was next in line to pay for his items.

"This is a lot of chocolate!" the female store clerk exclaimed while smiling a bit, " is this for your girlfriend?" she smirked at him.

"No! No!" Jungkook denied softly, "This is for my best friend. I think she's on her period so I'm just being a great friend and having a movie night with her." He hummed as if it was a normal thing he does for Mia, which it kind of is and vice versa on her part as well.

"Awh, that's so cute!! I wish I had a best friend like you! You guys must be really close!" She beamed while ringing him up. Jungkook thought back on his friendship with Mia and smiled. All their sarcasm, play fights, and movie nights. Yeah, they were close. They may have small little, playful arguments but they usually told each other everything.

"Yeah, I mean I guess." He rolled his eyes playfully while smirking.

"Mia! Open the fuckin door, it's freezing!!" Mia heard Jungkook yell. She laughed at her friends vulgarity and opened the door.

"You're so impatient, jezz." Mia scoffed while plopping down on the couch. He walked right past the couch and placed all the snacks on the counter, making sure to put the ice cream in the freezer for later.

"Where's Ma?" Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows, not used to not hearing the greeting and hug her mom usually gave him when he came over. Mia made a small smile to the nickname Jungkook gave her mom.

"She's working late. She should be home later, though." Mia informed, getting up to grab one of the chips that Jungkook had bought.

"Ah, good. I miss her short self." Jungkook nudged Mia with his shoulder. Mia made a wearily laugh, still not feeling great from today's events.

"Thanks, Jungkook-ah. You didn't have to do all this." Mia waved her arms near the snacks and all.

"It's literally nothing. I've been spending so much time, or least trying to, with Nina. I miss my other favorite girl." He punched her shoulder lightly to know it wasn't really a big deal.

My other favorite girl. Those words reminded her of Taehyung and she made a light grimace but quickly wiped it off when Jungkook spoke up again.

"So, movies?"

"Scary movies!!" Mia half screamed, getting excited that she will finally watch scary movies with her fellow horror fanatic.

Taehyung was feeling fucking terrible. He didn't know what to do with himself. I fucked up so bad. Fuck! He kept thinking when he got home. Once he got home, he didn't know what got into him but he went into his room and started throwing everything in sight out of frustration. He didn't care that he was going to make a huge commotion. He didn't care that his neighbors were probably worried. He never wanted to be like this. He never had a great relationship with anyone who entered his life. The only people who cared for him were his parents but he became a person he knew that they wouldn't be proud of so he moved out. They paid his rent and groceries since they didn't want their oldest baby to have to struggle. He was an asshole. He was incapable of caring for others and loving people. Who would want a son like that? No one. That's why everyone always left him.

In high school, things changed and he became friends with many people but he still doesn't trust them. Even with Baekhyun and Sehun, who have stuck around since freshman year, he is still worried in the back of his mind that they will leave him. That's why he always slept with girls and then moved onto the next one. He never cared for any of them. He didn't like any of them. He used to think that relationships were stupid because why get into one when someone is going to leave one way or another. But that was when he met his girlfriend.

She was feisty and he liked that a lot. They met at a party and they were both on the prowl for a victim to hit and quit but then they met. They hit it off and slept together which was pretty great. Taehyung didn't expect to like this feisty girl but he liked the fact that she won't care if he texted her or not. She wasn't needy at all unlike all the other girls who have slept with him. It was great for a month but then he met Mia.

He likes Mia so much but he liked his girlfriend as well. He was afraid, though. His relationship with his girlfriend was solid. They both wanted the same simple things: sex. He never thought about the other things that should be involved in a relationship but it worked. But once he met Mia, he noticed he wanted to have someone to talk to, someone to tell your deepest secrets to, someone to hold, someone to kiss with with passion, he even wanted someone to make love with.

His relationship with Mia scared the shit out of him. It wasn't certain and it was fragile. Did she like him? He doesn't know. It could fall apart if they both went for it and he doesn't know if he could handle that. Mia was important to him and he doesn't want to hurt her. He was an asshole. Someone that she shouldn't call her boyfriend. He may like her a lot but there would be so much drama. Was he willing to risk that for the both of them? He didn't know what to do which frustrated him even more. Maybe he should break up with his girlfriend and see if he could work it out with Mia. You'll hurt her.

It hurt Taehyung when he tried to contact Mia and she blew him off. He expected it though, who was he kidding? He had a girlfriend and was fucking flirting and sexting another girl. He's such an asshole. Always has been. This is just one of the rare times where he actually cares.

Out of impulse, he sent an important text to Mia in the middle of the night.
