First thing I want to bring up is the neurotypical actor playing the non verbal.

Sia, a neurotypical woman, had casted a friend of hers, despite there being autistic actors who would have liked to have been in the movie.

And you know what Sia said to those autistic actors who criticized her?
"Maybe you're just a bad actor"
Ok ms autism speaks, here's your red nose, ya clown.

"But pixel!1! She said she casted an autistic person but the person didn't like the set!1!1!"

Well sorry to burst your bubble, but, she never casted an autistic girl, she was gonna cast maddie because Sia made it for her.
A story of a non verbal made for a neurotypical by a neurotypical.

Now, let's try and give some slack to sia, and say she did hire an autistic actor and that autistic girl didn't like the set

Sia. You're fucking rich, make the movie set comfortable for one person from the demographic you're trying to get your shitty ableist movie out to, you have power over that set but you still felt it was "compassionate" to cast Maddie, someone who had to be taught to act autistic by sia.

Let's take a moment to unpack the compassionate thing.

Compassionate to who? Maddie? Definitely not to the supposed autistic person who should've gotten the lead role.

"Oh but Maddie is her muse, she can't do anything without her"

She didn't have to exclude Maddie, because guess what???
People with autism can have friends, it's just harder for of us. But no.

And the teachings

"But anyone can play an autistic person!1!1! It's called acting for a reason"

Funny but no.
Why do I say that?
Well an autistic person knows themselves better, because they have lived with autism, and that's them, but you get a neurotypical to play an autistic person, it will get very stereotypical and especially in Music's case, it's mocking and I can't fucking stand that.

Another thing I can't stand for is, Sia partnering with Autism speaks. And if you already know about that organization, you should already know that it's a hate group disguised as a charity.
Yet ms.The entire fucking circus claims to have three years of knowledge on autism but can't have a three minute conversation with people from the demographic.
Hell, she doesn't have to beat around the bush, she can just straight up as the community how they feel about autism speaks.

The trailer and the interviews are totally different cans of worms and I have alot to say about that.
