If anyone walked into the Divinus Magicae guild hall right now, they'd be surprised by the tower of cards in the guildhall. Several boxes of cards were empty on the floor and there was a huge tower of cards in the center. Mario himself was using a pillar to get up to the top of the tower without knocking it down.

Brandon and Ritchie walked down from their office only to stop dead at the sight of the card tower.

"Mario? What are you doing?" Ritchie asked in confusion.

"Found a lot of playing cards and since there's no one to play poker with, I'm building a card tower." Mario told them simply as he placed another on top.

"How long have you been working on this?" Brandon asked as he examined the card tower.

"About an hour." Mario told him as he retracted the pillar to pick up another box of cards.

"And no one has come in to mess it up?" Ritchie and Brandon were honestly very surprised at that.

"Nah, Zaro and Inmo aren't back from their training mission yet, Kit's with her girlfriend, Daveed's planting a new flower out in the gardens and you two have been up there all day." Mario shook his head even as he formed the pillar once again. "So the only one who messed the tower up was me at the beginning."

Ritchie and Brandon nodded before Brandon observed. "So you're using your magic to help you get up to the top without knocking anything over?"

"Yes, I figured it was a good way to both exercise my magic and lessen the risk of knocking down my tower." Mario nodded as he placed another card on top.

Just as he was about to place the next one, the door slammed open and a red-faced Inmo ran into the guildhall. The suddenness of the explosion mage's arrival struck Mario off guard causing the dragon slayer to accidentally knock against the tower. All the cards fluttered to the ground where Mario stared at them for a second.

"Are you kidding me." Mario growled even as he lowered his pillar.

Inmo took one look at Mario's face and ran off to hide with a small glance at Brandon before he left.
