Mario and Daveed were out on a mission together and this one was going to be a tough one. When Mario had taken it off his request board and shown Daveed asking if it sounded good, Daveed had taken a look at it and told him that the mission sounded more like an A-class mission. Mario had decided to take it anyway, so Daveed had come along to keep his boyfriend from getting killed.

They were clearing out a few apparently dangerous mages from a nearby town. At first it seemed pretty simple. At least that's what they thought before they actually gotten to the village.

The second they had gotten there, they were bombarded from three sides with different spells, starting a fight almost immediately. And it turned out Daveed was right, this mission should have been ranked A-class and maybe it should have even been ranked S-class cause these guys were tough.

About midway through the fight, Daveed got knocked to the ground and Mario heard his boyfriend groan in pain. Hearing Daveed in pain set something off in Mario. He growled loudly as he felt a familiar power well up inside him.

Not caring that he hadn't completely mastered this power yet, Mario closed his eyes and let the dragon force consume him. Just as it had happened the last time, the tattoo appeared back on his face, his hair had streaks of dark green and brown and when he opened his eyes, they were darker than normal but they were still a mix of green and brown.

And with that, Mario tore into their enemies, taking immense pleasure as he beat them to a bloody pulp. When the rage finally faded from him, though the power hadn't quite yet, he turned to Daveed who was staring at him in shock and surprise.

"What the heck was that?" Daveed asked even as he stood up on wobbly legs.

"Well I'm pretty sure that this is related to my slayer powers." Mario told him even as he went to steady his boyfriend. "To be honest, that was only my second time using it."

"That was only your second time using it and you chose now of all times?" Daveed asked in shock.

"I didn't really choose, more like I was so angry that they had hurt you that it sort of came out?" Mario said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Ok, you're training with that more before you use it again... by the way, isn't stuff like that supposed to go away when you're done?" Daveed asked seeing that Mario wasn't back to normal yet.

"Well I think it should but the last time I used it, it didn't go away for four hours so yeah..." Mario said a little embarrassed.

"At least it makes you cuter." Daveed cooed. Mario blushed before he said in a mock offended tone of voice. "Was I not cute before?"

"You are always cute." Daveed declared. Mario giggled at that as he smiled up at his boyfriend.
