Mario and Daveed were talking after going on a ride with the ostrich-horses, putting supplies back and making sure the ostrich-horses they had brought back were well fed and watered. Daveed also had his shirt off as per norm with him.

As they talked, Mario noticed that some ladies that lived in the stronghold were looking over at them. Upon further inspection, he saw that a couple were blushing and they were looking over at Daveed. Not cause they were indignant that he didn't have a shirt on but it was obvious that they were looking at him because they were attracted to him.

He felt uncomfortable now. They were staring at his boyfriend. Daveed was his. Not theirs.

"Mario?" Daveed suddenly asked and Mario looked up at his boyfriend, not realizing he had been glaring at the ladies. "What's wrong?"

Mario didn't respond for a moment but when Daveed started to ask him again, he yanked the ice mage down and kissed him. Daveed was startled for a moment but he kissed back, putting his arms around the dragon slayer. When they pulled away from each other, Mario hugged Daveed, and said quietly. "Mine."

Daveed was confused at this at first, but then he noticed that Mario was glaring at something behind his back. He turned to look and the second he saw the girls, that's when it clicked. He looked back at his dragon slayer and said. "Yeah, I'm yours."

Mario growled lightly in satisfaction even as he snuggled up to Daveed. Daveed just gave him a smile and pet his head.
