Quick AN: This is a warning but there is a slight reference to being in a past abusive relationship, no details but it is there. 

The guild was spending the evening in Atlantide, except for Daveed as he was out on a mission, as there were some grand magic games things that were going on for the next couple of days.

At the moment, they were having a short break so Ritchie and Brandon were chatting quietly amongst themselves. That was until Mario suddenly ran around a corner and upon seeing them, he hid behind his guildmasters.

"Mario?" Brandon asked surprised.

"Hide me." The guild masters looked at their dragon slayer in surprise. Never had they ever thought those words would come out of Mario's mouth. Even when another one of the guild members or they were angry at him, he never asked someone to hide him from their wrath.

"What's going on?" Ritchie asked, putting a hand on the dragon slayer's shoulder and it was then that the two guildmasters realized that Mario was shaking.

Mario looked away and said something they didn't quite hear.

"What was that?" Ritchie asked and Mario sighed before saying. "My ex."

They looked at him before they started chuckling.

"Don't laugh!"

"You're running from your ex?" Brandon asked as he chuckled.

"Yes cause he's an abusive jerk..." This made the guild masters instantly stop laughing. They had thought that maybe Mario's ex was just clingy and trying to get back together with him, not that he had had an abusive boyfriend. Then again, they didn't even know he had an ex so they couldn't have known.

Before they could say anything, a large man with dark blue hair rounded the corner. Mario's shaking intensified even as he hid further behind the taller of the twins.

"Excuse me, have you possibly seen a guy run past here? Black hair, black eyes, yellow bandanna, goes by the name of Mario?" The man asked with a malicious smile on his face. Mario was so glad that he was able to hide behind Brandon.

"Oh? I don't think we've seen anyone like that around here." Ritchie said playing it off as he turned to Brandon and asked. "Unless you have brother?"

"No, I have not. May I ask why you're looking for him?" Brandon asked trying to sound curious.

"I just-" You could see him visibly stop himself. "I just need to have a little chat with him."

Brandon and Ritchie looked at each other before Ritchie asked. "Can we ask what that chat would be about?"

"I don't see how that concerns you." The man said rather snobbishly.

"I think it concerns us when you're talking about one of our guild members." Brandon said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"Your guild member? What kind of pathetic guild would take him?" Dark looks passed over both guild leaders' faces.

"Wow, you certainly have some guts to be insulting our guild." Brandon said and you could hear the hidden anger in his voice.

"If your guild took him in, then it really is pathetic." He sneered.

"Oh really? Tell me, haven't you ever heard of Divinus Magicae?" He went pale this time. Looking between the two guild masters, he finally realized just what guild he had just insulted, to the guildmasters' faces.

"Why on earth, would you take that weakling into your guild?" The guild masters both looked at each other as dark looks passed over their faces.

"First you had the guts to insult our guild, and now you have the guts to insult one of our members." Ritchie asked before saying to Brandon. "I don't think that can go unpunished, do you think so Brandon?"

"Indeed it cannot." Brandon said as they both looked over at Mario's ex, who gulped upon realizing what he had done.

No one insulted their guild or their guild members, especially not jerks like this guy.
