"Do you hear that?", he asked, almost falling asleep.
"Hear what?" A human male, the Captain of their marine, looked up to him, grinning. "I can' hear anythin' but I see ya fallin' down soon, ya better get down from dere."
"It's a voice...a female one. She sings something.", the voidelf whispered in his captain's ear. "Do you know someone called 'the daughter of the sea' ?"
"Milady Jaina Proudmoore is popular on Kul Tiras wi' that name...but also as a traitor." Grimson laughed and pointed at Stormwind's harbour. "But ya don' need ta worry 'bout that, she will be in good hands here in da Alliance. An' now go, get de crew ready ta leave da ship."

Yaen sighed and went down the stairs of their little ship.

They did not have much work to do because their ship was too little for war but perfect for a chase...and their last chase was after the Horde's members to Zandalar.
They would have to report to King Anduin...which meant there was a chance of meeting this Jaina.

"Alright guys. Stormwind's close, we're almost in the harbour. Get ready for the report.", he warned the crew, a mixture of three human males and two females, one nightelf female, a draenei female, a darkiron dwarf male and himself. The only voidelf on this ship.

"I told ya guys!", the dwarf, Adric, shouted. "Al-rrright, ya all owe me a piece of gold!"
"Adric, dear.", the draenei interrupted him with her harmonic accent. "You know nobody of us could give you that much. We came to the solution to pay only a silver coin. That's all we can offer you."
"I must say, Tuula, ya be a hard piece of stubbornness.", Adric murmured and jumped around, trying to get into his boots.

"So, you're not coming with us?", the quiet voice of the nightelf woman Kheay sounded. She already put on her offical armour. "Again?"
"Well, someone gotta look after the ship." Yaen sighed. "It's just...boring."
"Grimson never asked for someone to look after it!", one of the human females, Lian, protested.
"She's right.", Grimson's voice sounded behind him. "Hop in yar armour, Yaen, ya be comin' wi' us today."

Defeated by the captain's words, Yaen went to his sleeping place and took out the pieces of armour.
In the background, Adric finally managed to get in his boots.

"That was it, my king." Grimson bowed and the crew of the 'Waterpard' saluted.
"Well done, Captain." Anduin tried to smile and his look wandered to Jaina, a beautiful woman with white-blond hair and glowing blue eyes. "Lady Jaina, the Horde acts fast. We need the Kul Tirans to join us! May I put this...burden upon you?"
"Sure, Milord." Jaina nodded. "Everything for our victory."
But her voice sounded hard.

Still, Yaen could not put his look elsewhere.
He had seen many kinds of creatures, none of them seemed to include his love.
But Jaina...was different.
She did not just look pretty, no, her words made clear that with her doing this mission, she would...sacrifice something.

Yaen swallowed.

What if she was sacrificing herself?
Grimson mentioned her being a traitor and Kul Tiras had a strong and strict law.

"Oh, Captain Grimson?" Anduin sat down on the throne. "I want you to join Jainas party. For this mission, if everything is against us, you need to leave as fast as possible. Jaina will join you with her own ship."
"Yes, Sir." Grimson bowed again. "Let me at least give you half of my men for your support, Milady."
"Let's finish this in the harbour, Sir.", Jaina interrupted him and stepped closer. "Well. Lead me to your ship."
