Third person POV:

     The Northern Lights. Shadow glanced up at them, becoming frustrated as the other younger ice harvesters were getting their ice faster than him. Shadow the Hedgehog was created a long time ago. This was his first time trying to harvest ice. It was frustrating, but worth the experience. He was trying to lift a big ice block, well, attempting to anyways. He worked to the songs that the ice harvesters sang. He glanced at the Northern Lights again, before going back to lifting his ice block

Not far away, was the kingdom Arendelle, a kingdom who didn't go along with modern technology today. Arendelle was one of those kingdoms that stayed in their time. Sure, they had those old-fashioned telephones, the type where you had that piece that you held up to your ear, they had washer and dryer machines. They had 80's refrigerators and they had gas stove tops. They had cellphones and electricity, small power lines. They had no TV, every child played outside when the could. They had 70's radio's and modern day board games. Such as classic Life, Poker, Snap, Battleship, Chess, Dungeons And Dragons, all of those!

     Shadow wasn't the only one who saw the Northern lights, little 5-year-old Sonic saw them too.

Sonic tiptoed over to his big sister's bed. Sonia was 8 years old, and trying to sleep. 

"Sonia! Wake up, Wake up!" Whispered Sonic as he shook his older sister awake.

"Hmm? What Sonic?" Mumbled Sonia.

"Come play with me! I wanna play!" Whined Sonic.

"Go play by yourself Sonic, I wanna sleep" grumbled Sonia.

Sonic pouted, and lay on top of Sonia, "But the sky's awake! So I'm awake too! So we have to play!" 

"Go to sleep Sonic." Sonia mumbled as she pushed Sonic off of her, and the bed.

Thump.

 Sonic sat there for a second, pouting. Then suddenly he had an idea.

Sonic scrambled up, back onto the bed, and pried one of Sonia's eyes open. He let go knowing Sonia was now awake and said softly,

"Do you wanna build a snowman?"

Sonia opened her eyes and smiled at her younger brother.

"Shhh!" Hissed Sonia, as the two hurried down the stairs to the ballroom. 

"Are you ready?" Asked Sonia.

Sonic nodded his head vigorously, so excited for the fun to begin.

Sonia began to create a small silvery-Blue orb, with snowflakes dancing about through out the orb. 

"Ohhh..." Sonic murmured, memorized by the orb's beauty.

Suddenly, Sonia threw the orb into the sky, creating snow that didn't need a cloud to fall from. Sonic giggles with glee, jumping around, trying to catch snowflakes on his tongue.

"Watch this!" Sonia said, as she stomped her foot in the ground, creating a layer of ice.

"Wheee!" Cried Sonic.

Sonia and Sonic were having fun, Sonia built a snowman making Sonic laugh.

"Hi I'm Olaf! And I like warm hugs!" 

"Oh Olaf!" Giggled Sonic, as he hugged the snowman happily.

Sonia sat behind Sonic when they went sliding down a hill, and at the bottom, Sonic threw himself into a pile of snow.

"Catch me!" Giggled Sonic, as he jumped to where his sister would catch him next.

"Alright, I'll catch you!" Sonia said as she used her ice powers to catch Sonic. 

Each jump was higher than the next, causing Sonia to become flustered. Sonic sped up his jumps, while Sonia struggled to keep up.

"Sonic! Slow down!" Sonia cried, afraid her little brother would get hurt.

Sonic just giggled in response, speeding up more. Suddenly, Sonia slipped, unable to catch Sonic on his last jump.

"Sonic! No!" Cried Sonia as she blasted her magic to her little brother, who thought his sister was going to catch him, hitting him in the head.

"Ngh!" Sonic fell to the ground and rolled to a stop.

Sonia scrambled up and dashed over to Sonic. A thin white streak appeared in Sonic's quills, terrifying Sonia.

"Sonic! No no no no! Wake up! Please!" Cried Sonia, " Help! Please! Help!"

Ice began to form along the walls and ceiling of the ballroom. Olaf fell to a pile of snow and frost covered the door and rafters.

"Sonia!" Cried King Jules, as he burst into the ballroom with his wife, "This  time it's gone too far!"

"I'm sorry!" Wailed Sonia, "It was an accident!"

"Oh my poor baby!" Gasped Queen Bernadette.

"We need to go to the library," said King Jules, " the trolls and echidna's can help us."

The King and Queen mounted their horses, The Queen holding her son in a blanket, while the King took his daughter. They raced to the hidden place of Echidna's and trolls,

They didn't know they passed the new ice harvester, Shadow the Hedgehog.

"What the-?" Shadow questioned as the daughter of the King and Queen, left a trail of frost on the ground below her.

Not knowing why or how, Shadow dashed after them, staying hidden.

When they reached their destination, the King dismounted his horse and called out to the trolls and Echidnas.

" Please, help us! Our son needs your help!"

Round stones began rolling towards the Royal family, as several echidnas popped out behind rocks and bushes.

Locke the echidna came forward, along with Grand Pabbie the troll. 

"You are lucky it was the head not the heart," said Locke, " that cannot be easily changed, but the head can be."

Grand Pabbie used his magic to take the memoriesof Sonic  and change them.

"He will remember the fun, and only the fun." Grand Pabbie said.

"He won't remember that I have powers?" Sonia asked.

"No," Locke said, shaking his head, "Sonia, listen to me, you're powers has beauty in it-"

"But at the same time, it can be dangerous." Finished Grand Pabbie.

"No,"  Jules, "She'll learn to control her powers, until then. We close the gates, reduce the amount of staff, and any physical communication with anyone... and that includes Sonic"
