I stood in front of the mirror staring at the beautiful dress my friends were having me try on. It was a simple sweetheart A-Line Chiffon dress with ruching. My blond hair pulled back into a french braid and my fair skin practically glowing.

"That is perfect, we got to buy it!" one of my friends squealed as she came up behind me in the mirror. Her chocolate brown hair in curls and her makeup done to perfection. I nodded.

"I fully agree, this will be perfect for homecoming." i say, the excitement evident in my voice. The store clerk smiled from to the side of the mirror.

"Why don't you change back into your clothes and we'll get your dress ready to go." the elderly woman smiled and helped me off the pedestal. After i had changed into my almost knee length white shorts, turquoise elbow length sleeve, heeled sandals with bamboo and turquoise straps, finished off with golden bracelets with a few turquoise beads. After i walked out i payed the cashier for the dress, grabbed the bag, and my friends and i walked out into the bustle of the mall.

It's my final summer vacation before i graduate, and i want to make it as memorable as possible, but of course my parents only had two tickets for the summer long cruise, so i am left alone at home, while they are out on a boat. At least i can have all the fun i want with friends. We walk to the food court in the middle of our two story mall, the escalators always in motion and having people on it, unless you come during the school year. The concessions are surrounded by arcades, bumper car zone, and a lazer tag area, easy to tell where all the boys and little kids love to hang out at.

I went to the chick-fil-a restaurant and got myself their number two order, which is a chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, and their special sauce and potato wedges. I thank the cashier and walk to a table and start digging into the sandwich. Right as i was taking my last bite there was a loud crash, and someone went flying through the air above me, slamming into the rails on the balcony area of the second floor, then falling to the ground.
