Jace walked into his house, two of his brothers and his friends following. He threw his school bag into the corner and plopped onto the couch. Jacexx plopped right beside his brother and pulled some jelly donuts out of a paper bag and started devouring them. Dauver drew a bit while eating a muffin, Pepper beside him eating a cupcake. Declan and Kira sat by each other, listening to music. Hituka and Takuto were eating cake. Joslin and Kuki were playing tic tac toe. Bennett was texting some girl he met at school. What was her name again? Inori, yeah think that's it. Anyways, they all could tell she was obsessed with Bennett. Well, everyone except Bennett could tell. He was so oblivious sometimes...most of the time. Cherry was sitting beside Jacexx, watching a movie on her phone. MH was already in the living room before them and was watching tv, crisscrossed on the floor. Both of Jace's dads were in their room doing who knows what. Loeaed walked in and greeted everyone, grabbing his backpack and heading to the kitchen. The other kids were quite confused, so they followed him. Loeaed zipped open his backpack and was stuffing all kinds of snacks and drinks in there. "Uh your not planning on running away are you?" MH asked. Loeaed just looked at them and gave a small smile, shaking his head no. "Then what's with the snacks?" Cherry piped up. "I'm having a sleepover, I'm getting snacks for my guests..." he said, grabbing a bag of cotton candy. Sitari, who had just walked in, gasped and reached for the bag, only to be held back by Zairee and Rainey. They all stood there shocked, staring at the boy who continued stuffing his bag. He was having a sleepover?! This was surely new. Before anymore questions were asked, Loeaed saluted them and headed into the backyard, into his fort, leaving everyone standing there, dumb founded. They decided it was best to leave him be. They went back and began doing homework. After a full boring two hours of homework, they all relaxed. Bennett, Declan, Hituka, Jacexx, Cherry, and Alex all took turns on the PlayStation. MH was sewing a sweater. Pepper and Dauver were eating cookies they had baked and decorated. Jace was just laying on the couch, listening to music. Kira was cheering on Declan as he played. Sitari was stuffing her face with cotton candy as Zairee ranted about how she shouldn't eat so much cotton candy. Rainey was going through a photo album of her and Maria. They were all beginning to fully relax when suddenly came two knocks from the door. Jace took off his headphones and answered the door. Nepeta and Alex just strolled right in with the biggest, dorkiest smiles ever plastered on their faces. Alex was practically on the verge of exploding from happiness as she jumped in front of her group of friends. "Guys you will not believe what Nep saw!" Alex exclaimed, waving her arms around. "What? Karkat in a swimsuit?" Bennett teased, causing Nepeta to blush and whisper something about wishing that was it. Alex shot him a glare. "No, show them Nep!" Nepeta calmed down and happily hopped on beside Alex, giggling. She twirled a bit and opened her bag and started digging through it. After a a minute or two, the small cat obsessed shipper girl pulled out her tablet, that so happened to be fully decorated with all kinds of ships, and she began swiping and tapping the screen a few times. With a big smile, she faced the tablet towards her friends. There they saw a picture of Loeaed, talking to some girls. But after they leaned in a bit they realized that they knew one of the girls. In fact the one on the right seemed familiar. She was the girl with brown hair. They all then realized that she was no ordinary girl at all. It was, in fact, the girl they have been searching for what seemed like forever. And that girl would change everything. She would change Jace once more. Because that girl was special to them all. That girl was Maria Diaz. They all stared at the picture for a bit longer before slowly looking at each other. Then they looked out the back glass door, seeing the lights in the Loeaed's wooden fort on. They all looked at each other once more, giving each other a nod before they all stood up. Loeaed had a lot of explaining to do.
