It's been a month. ONE FREAKING MONTH. NO ONE KNEW ANYTHING. If your wondering, Maria's been missing for a month by now. Jace was heartbroken. The love of his life, HIS Maria, HIS princess, HIS beloved rose, was gone. No one knew where his snowflake was. She left a month ago to get groceries for dinner. It wasn't supposed to take too long. Maybe an hour or so? Jace didn't know for sure. What he does know for a fact is that it doesn't take a month. ONE FREAKING MONTH. Jace was gonna lose his mind if he didn't get her back. He didn't smile anymore. He didn't laugh either. He basically didn't do anything fun anymore. His world seemed bland. It was worrying everyone. And by everyone, I mean everyone. Yes even Jacexx and Cherry. Jace was sitting in his room at the moment. He hadn't said a word to anyone yet. He just kept quiet. That's when someone bursted into his room. Jace looked up, only to see Jacexx. Jacexx hesitated a bit before speaking. "Hey Jace...uh you might wanna come downstairs...the group is over and well, they may have found some clues connected to Maria" that's all it took. Jace shot up from his chair and dashed downstairs. He made his way to the living room where his friends were sitting. Jacexx plopped in the seat right beside Cherry. Jace just stood there. They all stared at each other in silence for a while, before Jace spoke for the first time. "Well?" Was all he said. Everyone looked surprised for a bit that he had spoken. "W-Well..." Kuki started, shifting in her seat. Jace just crossed his arms. "When Maria, Joslin, Cherry, or I get a new phone, Joslin adds new features to it...y-you see, I'm more with programming and Joslin is more of building, adding an-" Kuki stopped as soon as she realized she was ranting and Jace just wanted to know. That's when Joslin took over. "In other words, I put in a certain item on her phone so when it dies or she turns it off, or even if it's still on, it records her surroundings so we know what happens." Joslin stated. Then it hit Jace. "So that means...if we find her phone..." he started. Joslin just smiled. "Ding ding ding we have a winner!" She announced. "Well then, let's go!" Hituka exclaimed, getting up. They all got up and left, taking the route Maria was well known with to the store. They slowly walked and carefully searched their surroundings. Then they reached the end of the street bye the park. As they were searching, they found small items belonging to Maria. "Guys!" Everyone turned their attention to Jace's brother MH, who held up Maria's phone. Joslin dashed over and snatched it. The screen was cracked, but nothing she couldn't repair. They all went to the orphanage where Joslin lived at. Joslin greeted one of the many women at the orphanage and dashed upstairs to Joslin's room. After hooking up Maria's phone to her computer, Joslin typed a bit and messed around with a program. Then she clicked a button and a projector shined upon a wall. She pulled down the string so that they could see it better on the large white screen. As soon as everyone got settled, she clicked the play button. The first clip it showed was from a view from the grounds perspective. It showed Pepper and Mitch drawing on the sidewalk with chalk. Then it showed Maria walk up to them and threw a water balloon at Mitch. Before she got the chance to get away, Parker poured a bucket of ice cold water on her. She squealed and called for back up. It showed Cherry, Kuki, and Joslin running into view. That's when it changed clips. It continued to play various clips causing everyone to miss Maria even more. Then it showed a clip of Maria walking while holding her phone, rushing down the street. They saw her worriedly look back and they all leaned in curious. That's when Maria turned to her side and fear filled her face. Fear filled all their faces when they saw what was going on. A car sped up and hit Maria. A look of horror was written all over everyone's faces as they saw Maria laying on the side of the road, unconscious. Then they noticed two girls appear. They got Maria, threw her purse to the side, and got away with Maria in a car. Joslin reminded the video and paused it with the two girls. Everyone was silent. "Th-Those are those n-new girls..." Kuki said softly. The girl sitting by Declan, who's name was Kira, spoke up. "We gotta interrogate them! They know where she is!" Kira shouted. They all nodded and left Joslin's room. Jace was enraged but now one question filled his mind. Was Maria okay? That's all he wanted to know. They all walked back to the area where Maria was hit so that Joslin can try and see if she can find the license plate of the car, but nothing came up. The only hope they had was with those two girls.
