You know you never know what you have, until you lose it I guess. Back when I was younger I was in a way ungreatful. I never thought of my mother and all she did to provide for us, I never showed my sister Rebecca,  as I grew older I became more independent, I rarely thanked my mother and father, and when I look back I wish I did. When I hit the age 9 our father died, I still don't know how but he did, so it was just my mother, Bucky, Rebecca and I,  not long after that our mother passed away from sickness, so it was just the three of us, as Rebecca got older she found a job and left.

Leaving Bucky and I, not to mention Steve. When Bucky joined the army to fight in WWII, I was more than proud, but I was scared, scared that he'd walk out the front door and never return. But I had Steve, Bucky would leave Steve in charge of me whenever he left, and Steve took care of me, we became very close and he became part of our little family, at least what was left of it. Steve would always tell me stories of him and Bucky, then he told me how he met me for the first time in the hospital, he said I was so chubby and had lots of blonde hair. When Steve finally got into the army, I was left all alone, I had no family and no one to care for me, then again I was 11 at the time, when Steve became a super soilder named Captain America I was more than happy for him, but scared that I'd lose him as well.

At times I would go down to the base, only if Steve had felt that I needed to be cared for. And that's when I meet Peggy Carter and Howard Stark. Howard was funny and kind, he called me his partner in crime. Then there was Peggy, man did I look up to her, she was truly inspiring, I wanted to be just like her, she did things women would never think of doing. She crossed the line between men and women, and because of that I loved her. She watched me and taught me things I never knew, she gave me confidence and strength, she was like the mother I've always wanted, and I was greatful for her.

I was once interviewed, they asked me question about my life, and how I felt about my brother and Steve, how proud I was of them. They asked me about my future career and what Peggy meant to me. I answered them truthfully and with my heart. As a young girl back in 1942, times were tough, the war took a toll on us in Brooklyn and I was worried, worried I'd lose the only family I had left. When I got the news that Bucky had died on an expedition I was devastated, when I ran and got taken by Hydra, I was scared. Truly scared, I was only an 11 year old girl, what did I do to them, why did they want me? That I did not know, but I did know that I was but through hell, after reciviving my powers, they trained me, sent me on little missions, and I was only 11. I killed and harmed people,  I could never eras those horrid memories, they controled me with simple words, I had a book, which was soon lost when the Hydra base I was in fell. I still remember the words, they forever haunt my mind.

Just 8 words that decried me. The horrible pain they brought me and the people I killed. I hated it, I hated myself, to this day, no one knows that half of my story, not Peter, not Steve and not even Bucky. When the base was attacked, I was rushed into a tube, the ice covered my body, before being completely frozen I remember what they said....

"Frost, you will live on and avenge Hydra."

I was sacred, of course when I woke up I never followed his orders, why would I? When I woke up in the a different place I feared out, I ran outside only to see tall glass buildings, no dirt, there was and actual road and the cars were more advanced. I was scared, when Fury confronted he told me I was asleep, asleep for almost 60 years, I couldn't believe it. All I knew was that everyone I knew was either dead or to old to remember the old days. I thought I was truly alone, until I found that Steve was still alive. My heart was filled with joy. I then met the rest  of the Avengers, and I liked them. Natasha Romanoff, who also went by Black Widow, was cool, I liked her and she taught me fighting technics. Then there Clint Barton, who went by Hawkeye, but he was currently under Loki's contorl. I then meet Bruce Banner, he was known as the Hulk, he was very smart and taught me more about the maths and science form their time.  Later on I meet Tony Stark, who went by Iron Man, and I later found out that he was Howard's son, so we bonded over that subject. We then all meet Thor, who was interesting, but I got along with him pretty well. When Loki opened a portal and brought the Chitauri army to New York,  I was forced to stay out of the fight, mainly because I was to young. But as I got older I went on more missions and later became a young Avenger. That is until the accords, I don't know where everyone is, but I guess it's for the best. And I guess that brings us to now. We'll right know I'm with my amazing boyfriend, Peter Parker, at the Captain America muesam. He thought I would like it. And he was right. They had videos and pictures from the past.

"So you like it?"

"Of course I like it Peter. Thank you." With that said I gave him a quick peck on the lips and we walked inside the building. We saw many things, like videos from the war and videos of Steve.

"Hey Eli...look."

I turned around to see what Peter was looking at, and it was an esibit of Bucky.

"James Buchanan Barnes, friends with Steve Roger since birth. They were inseparable." The esibit said.

"They got that right." I chuckled

We listened to what it said about Bucky, that is until Peter pulled me away.

"Peter hey! What are yo-" I stopped talking as I looked up at rhe the esibit Peter had dragged me to.....it was one of me, there was a picture of me when I was younger.

"Is that you?"

"Yeah." I breathed out, as I pushed the button to let it do the talking.

"Elizabeth Janet Barnes, James Buchanan Barnes's younger sister."

It then went to a video of me at the base swinging my legs on the table. I smiled as I listened.

"Elizabeth was a bright young girl who had big dreams, she was close with Steve Rogers,  and said that he was like an older brother to her. Elizabeth had once said that when she grew older that she wanted to be like Peggy Carter. And they all believed on her."

It then switched to a clip of Peggy.

Elizabeth. Well, she is certainly different then any little girl I've ever known, she was different. She didn't want to be a cook, or a baker. No, instead she wanted to do what I do. She once asked me, 'Peggy, how do you do it. How can you do the stuff that men do and not get shunned. How can I be like you.' And I looked at her and I smiled as I looked he straight in the eyes and I said 'women can do anything a man can do, don't let anyone tell you otherwise, you are a strong and independent women, you have a bright future ahead. All you need to do is believe that you can do it.'"

I smiled,  remembering how happy I was when Peggy told me that, a tear ran down my cheek. While Peter grabbed my hand. It then switched to Howard talking.

"Who Elizabeth, let me tell you when she first came I was like 'who the hell brought a little girl in here, so shouldn't be here!', she walked up to me and looked me straight in the eyes and said 'I'm not a little girl, don't you ever say that again.' And bam, I immediately had respect for the girl, let tell you she's a fighter, smart too, she was also my partner in crime. She was so intrigued by all of my inventions. I even let her help with some of them. That kid was something." Howard said as he shook his head and laughed. I then let out a little laugh as I wiped my face. It then switched to a video of me, I was so small. I head on a bonet and a gray dress. I smiled at my smaller self, and so did Peter.

"So Elizabeth was it."

"Yes sir."

"OK, we'll I'm gonna ask you s few questions, can you do your best to answer them."

"I will sir."

"OK then, well for starters how do you feel about your older brother being in the war?"

"Well I'm scared sir."

"Scared, why are you scared?"

"Beacause, Bucky is all I have."

"Well, what about Steve and your parents?"

"My mother and father are dead sir. They died awhile back, my sister Rebecca left Bucky and I to find work and start a family. And Steve, well of course he's family, it's just the three of us, but Bucky's my older brother he provides for me and cares for me. JM sacred that one day he'll walk out that front door and never walk back through."

"I see, however. You are still proud of both Steve and James right?"

"Yes sir, I couldn't be any prouder."

"OK, we'll do you have any role models, you gonna stay home and care for a family when you get any older?"

"No sir."

"Why not?"

"Well sir, to be honest I don't want to sit around cooking and cleaning for the rest of my life. I want to accomplish something, I want to do the things men do, to show them that we can do what they do, maybe even better. That's what Peggy said, when I grow up I want to be just like her sir."

"Well that's mighty kind of you, to want to put your voice out there for all women."

"Thank you sir."

"No thank you miss Barnes. It was a pleasure to meet you."

"You too sir."

And then the video ended as it counties on with my story.

"Elizabeth later on went missing on August 13th 1942, search parties went to look for her, but she was never found.....Elizabeth Janet Barnes...born September 12th 1931.....died August 15th 1942."

I assumed that after two days of searching they would pronounce me dead. Peter grabbed my hand as I faced him.

"I never knew my girlfriend was so cool."

I laughed as we walked out of the muesam and he walked me home.

"Thank you Peter. It was nice getting to see all of that."

"Anything to see you smile."

I laughed as I wrapped my arms around his neck and placed a soft kiss on his lips.

"Good night Peter."

"Night Eli."

After Peter left I tried to recall all the things Peggy and Howard had said as I smiled at the memories. My phone then started to ring.

"Hello?"

"Hey kid."

"Oh hey Tony what's up?"

"Oh nothing. Listen kid, something big is coming, and I don't like it. I'm going to a meeting to discuss about calling off the acorrds."

"Really? Wait how big is this threat?"

"I don't know, but I need you to do me a favor."

"OK what is it?"

"I need you to go to a friend of mines."

"Who exactly."

"His name is Steven Strange."

"Strange, what kind of a last name is that?"

"I don't know kid, why don't you ask him, you understand what to do?"

"Yeah, yeah find Strange and talk I guess."

"Good. Listen he'll know why your there sp don't stress. And good luck."

"OK bye."

"OK Strange,  where do I find you"

~see what I did there, oh and by the way this story will not have infinity war at all. That will be book two. Oh and I was wondering if you guys would like me to make a book about Elizabeth and her adventures, waking up from the ice all the way to Age of Ultron.
