~3 months later~

It's been three months since Peter and I have been dating, and it's amaxibg, we go out at night and go on our night patrols together. He's really nice and treats me as if I'm the only person left on Earth. I also recently got a job at a restaurant, as entertainment. That's right I sing at the restaurant to keep it alive. Ned was right about getting my voice out there, so I owe it to him, Brittany still bothers me, but not as much as she used to, which is good, Flash has kinda stop bothering Peter as well, but bullies will be bullies, what can I say.

"Miss Barnes."

"Huh?"

"This is why we don't sleep in class, now please how do you say hello my name is...."

"Oh right sorry, um, Hola me llamo Elizabeth Barnes."

"Thank you miss Barnes, don't fall asleep in my class again."

"Yes Miss Sanchez."

"Good ok class now open your book to page 125, we're gonna talk about congregating the endings."

I sighed as I opened my book, I looked over at Peter who smiled at me, I smile back as I listened to Miss Sanchez give her lesson, as soon as the bell rang I quickly packed up and walked out of the class room to meet Peter. As soon as he saw me we intertwined our hands and walked down the hall, still receiving stares, people thought it was weird that I was dating Peter Parker, only because he's a 'nerd' and I was 'popular', but again I don't really care for labels. So I ignored their looks and comments and continued on.

"You were tired, didn't get any sleep?" 

I nodded my head as I yawned.

"Yeah, you know those guys weren't messing around"

"Your telling me."

We laughed as we walked into the cafeteria. We grabbed our trays and sat down with Ned and Harry.

"Look who finally came." Harry said.

"Hey boys." I said as I sat down across from Ned and Harry and Peter sat next to me.

"What took you so long?" Ned asked.

"Oh Eli feel asleep in Spanish class."

"Again, that's like the third time this week, what's up with you?" Harry asked, I yawned.

"Oh you know work and stuff, really nothing to worry about."

"Hmmm." Ned as Harry said in synch.

"Oh that reminds me, you three are coming tonight right?"

"Huh?" This time all three boys had no clue what I was talking about. I sighed as I rolled my eyes.

"You know the restaurant, I invited you guys to see me preform since you haven't yet."

"Oh right." Ned said.

"So are you guys coming?"

"I am." Harry said.

"Me too." Ned said, then we all looked at Peter.

"Peter?" I asked.

"Of course I'll come."

"Great."

The bell then rung, I got up and kissed Peter on the cheek and started to walk away.

"Don't forget tonight at 7:00, bye boys!" I called back as I headed to history, the day went by pretty fast, and I was currently getting ready for my little performance,
I was wearing a black dress that went just above me knees and my hair was in a messy bun, I wore black heels, and I decided to wear my glasses, I took a deep breath waiting to be called out.

"And here's Elizabeth to lighten things up." I took a deep breath as I walked out onto the stage, I looked around, and every one was so serious, probably not expecting a kid, I saw Ned and Harry not sitting far away, but I didn't see Peter, but I wasn't worried cause I knew he'd come eventually, I walked up to the microphone and picked it up, Ned and Harry gave me a thumbs up, I took a deep breath as I pushed my glasses up and the music began, I decided to sing Rather be by Clean Bandit.

As I finished people were whistling and clapping, I smiled as I bowed and stepped off of the stage, I ran over to Ned and Harry and hugged them both, but Peter still wasn't there.

"Eli you were amazing!" Ned said.

"Yeah, I didn't know that you had a voice." Harry said, I laughed as I lightly punched his arm.

"Thanks guys....so um where's Peter?"

"I honestly don't know." Harry said.

"Don't worry Eli, he'll be here, now get back up there." Ned said as he gave me a little push, I laughed as I got back onto the stage. The music for Pompeii by Bastille

I was left to my own devices

As I finished up that song I noticed that Peter was still not there, I sighed as I thanked Ned and Harry for coming and went home, you could say I was pissed, I was so pissed off, I know that Peter was doing his job, and that's ok, but it constantly happens, I mean even hero's need to take breaks once in a while, not only that but since we've been dating not once has he said that he loved me, I mean he'll say 'see you later' and 'I'll miss you', but that's it, so I sighed as I walked home, and fell asleep.

~Next day~

Today was completely miserable, I literally avoided Peter all day, and Ned and Harry left me be because they knew exactly why I  was pissed. I grumbled to myself while I walked down the street, since school just ended.

"Eli!"

I stopped to see Peter running after me, I sighed as I waited for him to catch up.

"Look, Eli I'm sorry, I got caught up in bad guy stuff, and I completely forgot, I'm so sorry."

A scowl crossed my face as I clenched my fist.

"You think that's why I'm mad? Because you missed me sing yesterday?!"

"I..."

I cut him off immediately.

"No Peter! It's more than that! You dot get it do you, you always promise things, but break them, and I get it, ok, I do, but do you want to know what really hurts me! The fact that for as long as we've been together not once have you said that you loved me! And I say it to you all the time!"

"Eli i-"

"Say it!"

"Huh?"

"Say that you love me!"

He stared at me as he looked down.

"I knew it."

I called a cab, and he pulled over, I walked over to the door and opened it.

"I can't do this right now Peter. Come and find me when you decide to grow a pair!" And I climbed into the car.

"Eli wait!"

But I didn't listen, I told the driver to drive towards Brooklyn. My old town, it might not look the same bit it's still Brooklyn, I sigh as I look out of the window, I then start to hum Say you won't let go by James Arthur, I loved that song, we got stuck in traffic and I look at my phone to see that it has been a grand 2 hours since I yelled at Peter, again I sighed as I looked out the window, I then saw that everyone was getting out of their cars and looking at the bridge, I wondered what was going on, so I stepped out.

"Look at that!"

"Spider-Man did that!"

"What!?" I yelled as I pushed through the crowd and I gasped as I looked at the bridge, on the bridge it was webbed 'I Love You', I instantly knew why Peter did it, all of the sudden I was swept off of the ground,  I let out a little scream, we then landed on top of one the pillars of the bridge.

"Peter!" I yelled as he held onto my waist, I slightly turned away still mad.

"Eli."

I didn't answer

"Do you like it." He asked as he took off his mask, I sighed as I faced him.

"Did you really do that...for me?"

"Of course I did, you know why?"

"Hmm?"

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU ELIZABETH BARNES!"

"Peter..."

He looked down at me I wrapped my arms around his neck and held onto his mask.

"You said it."

"Of course I did, cause I want the whole world to know that I love you, and that your my one and only Eli."

I smiled as I leaned in.

"Your so corny Parker."

And I closed the gap between us as he kissed me passionately, he pulled me in closer and.we pulled apart as he rested his forehead onto mine.

"I love you Elizabeth Barnes." He whispered.

"And I love you Peter Parker, your my one and only nerd."

He laughed as he pulled me in and kissed me.

God I love Peter Parker.
