( RUNNING OUT OF TIME )

          WHEN MAL GOT BACK, SHE TOLD THE OTHERS WHAT HAPPENED. Mal lost a bet between her and Uma and now they had to give Fairy Godmother's magic wand to Ursula's daughter.

          "There's no way we're gonna give Uma the wand. We can't just let her destroy Auradon," Evie said.

          "If we don't give Uma the wand then Ben is toast," Carlos replied.

          "So we're gonna give Uma the wand out of all people."

          "Do we have any other choice?"

          "Wait! Your 3D printer," Mal said while looking at Carlos.

          "A phoney wand," he said.

          "The second Uma tests it she'll know it's fake," Evie said.

          "Then we get in and out. We go in, we grab Ben and we get out," Ellie said.

          "We need some kind of diversion," Mal added.

          "Smoke bombs!" Jay said.

          "I can get the chemicals from Lady Tremaine's place," Evie replied.

          Mal and Evie ended up talking about Mal's new hairdo. Instead of light blonde with purple tips, it was dyed to a pinkish purple colour. Her hair was straightened and she now had bangs. As nice as it looked, they had bigger things to worry about.

          "Yeah, the hair is cute and all but right now we have bigger issues," Ellie said.

          "Right. Carlos and Jay will go back to the dorm and make the wand and Ellie, you will go with them. That way, Hayes won't be able to hunt you down," Mal said.

          "Let him try his worst. That was just a little taste," Ellie said as she stood up.

          "Right. Meet us at Pirates Bay no later than noon. Losing is not an option," Mal said.

          Jay, Carlos and Ellie took the limo back to Auradon so they could go to the boys' dorm and make the fake wand. Dude ran up to Carlos as soon as he saw him and he picked him up in his arms. Ellie pet the dog's soft fur but pulled her hand back when he spoke.

          "You have really soft hands. No wonder Carlos loves to hold them," he said and Ellie looked at Carlos with her eyebrows raised, practically demanding an explanation.

          "A magic truth gummy Mal made," Carlos said and Ellie nodded.

          "Why is our door open?" Jay asked.

          Ellie kept one hand ready to fire if they put up a fight but rolled her eyes when they looked inside the room and saw that it was only Chad.

          "You've got to be kidding me," Carlos said and Chad turned around quickly.

          "I knocked," he said.

          "Still, no one said you could come in here," Ellie said with her hands on her hips and Chad looked at what she was wearing.

          "Why is she dressed like that?"

          "Why are you dressed like that?"

          "Chad, give me the key," Carlos said with his hand out and the blonde prince placed the room key in his awaiting palm.

          "What is that?" Jay asked when he saw what Chad was trying to make with their 3D printer.

          "It's a Chad action figure. Minus the head," Chad said.

          "Sounds like an improvement," Carlos said.

          "If you ask me, I would choose Headless Chad any day," Ellie chuckled with her arms crossed.

          The three of them moved past Chad and Carlos connected his phone to the printer. The printer got to work and Ellie rolled her eyes when she felt Chad's breath on her neck.

          "Why are you guys making Fairy Godmother's wand?" Chad questioned.

          "Why are you still here?" Ellie retaliated.

          "Why are we making Fairy Godmother's wand?" Carlos asked by looking at Jay.

          "Because, uh . . ." Jay trailed off, trying to figure out what to say.

          "Ben's been captured!" Dude shouted and Ellie pinched the bridge of her nose.

          "Dude can talk?" Chad asked, clearly shocked.

          "I was stalling," Carlos said.

          "I thought you forgot," Dude said.

          "Don't tell anyone. Ben's life depends on it," Jay said while glaring at Chad.

          "Really? So, if something were to happen to him, you know what I'm saying," Chad chuckled and Ellie narrowed her eyes.

          "Something bad, we get it," Carlos said.

          "God forbid. But if something were to happen, who do you think would be in line to be king?" Chad asked.

          "Is it me, or is that in really poor taste?" Jay asked.

          "Please, it's definitely not just you," Ellie responded while glaring at Chad. No one said a word and that gave Chad the hint that he needed to leave. Jay slammed the door and Ellie sighed in relief. "Thank you, Jay."

          The three of them sat down as they waited for the wand to finish printing. As they were waiting, they all fell asleep on top of each other but when it was finished, a loud beeping woke them up. Ellie rubbed her eyes as Carlos took the fake wand and they all marvelled at how much it looked like the real wand.

          "Not bad," Carlos said.

          "Very impressive," Ellie said as Carlos told Dude to stay and they left the dorm but ran into Kaia and Marisa who had their arms crossed. "I thought you guys were still sleeping."

          "We're gonna help you rescue Ben," Marisa said.

          "Before you ask how we know, Chad cracks very easily under pressure," Kaia said.

          "And before I forget to ask, why did you need Fairy Grandmother's wand?" Marisa questioned.

          "Uma, Ursula's daughter. We either give her the wand or Ben is fried meat," Jay said.

          "So you mean to tell me that the Sea Witch's daughter wants the wand? I really hope you said no," Marisa said.

          "We couldn't exactly refuse without putting Ben's life on the line. That's why we have a fake wand that looks exactly like the real one," Carlos said.

          "We don't have time for this so just let them come along," Ellie said as everyone followed her out of the building but stopped when they ran into Doug who asked where Evie was. Carlos and Jay were able to come up with a convincing lie but it didn't stop there when they ran into Lonnie.

          "I'm coming with you guys," she said.

          "We don't need swords at the Waffle Hut," Jay said and Ellie wanted to smack him for the horrible lie.

          "You're going to the Isle to rescue Ben. Either you take me with you or I'm gonna have to tell Fairy Godmother," Lonnie said.

          "Jesus, we don't have time to argue over this. Is anyone else coming with us?" Ellie asked.

          "No," Lonnie said.

          "Good. Does anyone need to use the bathroom before we go?"

          "No," everyone said.

          "Good. Now everybody get in the damn limo and let's go," Ellie said as she grabbed the fake wand from Jay and got in the limo.

          Everyone got inside as well and Jay started driving back to the Isle so they could rescue Ben from Uma and her group of pirates.
