Y/n Rose POV

I don't understand why they treat me this way, what have I done to deserve this? My name is Y/n Rose, but now I had a feeling that it wasn't my real name anymore. I'm 6 years old and I live with my family in Patch.
My family has been treating me like a slave, making me cook for them, doing all the house chores, and cleaning the house. But I get nothing in return, not even a thank you, or even anything at all, they just shove me around like I'm nothing to them.

My father Tai has been only neglectful and abusive towards me for the past few years of my life. The same goes for Raven and summer, they don't even treat me like I'm their son. They've been abusive and neglectful towards me in a used me like I'm a human punching bag. When I would ask for attention, they would either just ignore me or they would beat me. Even they would have my two sisters, Yang and Ruby beat me as well. When they are going out they leave me here to clean the house and if I miss one small thing I will get beaten by them. But it comes to training Ruby and yang, Raven takes me to her tribe to train with her so called people to beat me more. She didn't even train me I didn't even get a chance to even fight for myself or defend myself. I don't know what I did wrong to deserve all this hate from them.

Not even uncle Qrow cares about me. He doesn't even look at me at all, one time he threw a beer bottle at me for just looking at him for not even a second, and he would just laugh at me for crying in pain.

All I ever wanted was for my family to love me. Why do Ruby and Yang get all of the love? I wish Mommy and daddy would love me, I wanted to hang out and watch movies with my sisters like normal siblings. But no, only Ruby and Yang get all the love and attention. Right now I sit alone in my dirty room that was the size of a closet. I only had a worn out pillow and a dirty blanket to keep warm at night. My clothes were all torn and covered in blood from all the beating. I don't even have any extra clothes or any sets of clothes at all. The only other thing I had was a blue crystal necklace but it went missing a while ago.

Tai: "GET DOWN HERE YOU PIECE OF SHIT!"

Not wanting to make him even more mad, I got off my bed which was just a worn out dirty mattress, as soon I left my so called room, Tai was waiting at the bottom of the stairs, he had an angry look on his face, not wanting to make him more mad I just simply walked down the stairs.

When I made it to the bottom of the stairs he then punched me in the face which caused my face to hit the floor first.

Tai: "What took you so long, You piece of Shit!"

Y/n: "I'm sorry, I j-just got out of b-bed"

I held my cheek in pain from when he hit me. You see the kind of treatment I get from them? Nothing but cruel punishment for no reason.

Tai: "Y/n. Don't just lay there like trash and go do the dishes. Summer is busy with our precious Ruby to do them."

Y/n: "Y-Yes d-dad."

When I stood up he quickly hits me across the face.

Tai: "Don't call me that, you don't deserve to call me that ever. Now GO!

I quickly get up and run to kitchen only to be tripped by Raven who was in the kitchen drinking a bottle of beer.

Raven: "Watch where you're going brat!"

She yells at me before she walks out of the kitchen.

Trying my best not to cry from the pain. Not only my face hurts but now my leg hurts, it's either bruised or twisted. I try not to think of it much though as I forced myself to stand and went to the sink and started on the dirty dishes.

Third Person POV

As Y/n started washing some of the dishes. Unknown to him, Yang was watching him from behind a corner, she smirks to herself before walking into the kitchen. Quietly sneaking up behind him

Yang: "Hey loser!"

Startling him, causing him to drop a plate and breaking it. She looks down at the broken plate then looks back at him with a smirk.

Yang: "DAD! COME HERE QUICK!"

She yells for her father Tai who storms down the stairs. When he gets to the kitchen he looks at Yang.

Tai: "What's wrong sweetie?"

Yang points to the broken play on the floor then she points at Y/n.

Yang: "He broke a plate"

Tai looks at the boy standing at the sink with angry expression.

Tai: "Did you do this?"

Y/n: "I-It was a-an a-accident, s-she scared me and I accidentally d-dropped it."

Yang: "he's lying dad I saw him break it"

Tai: "Is that so?"

Y/n: "No sir it was-

He couldn't even finish his sentence as Tai grabs him by hair and throws him to the floor and starts beating the living hell out him until he started crying while yang laughed in the background.

Tai: "DON'T LIE TO ME YOU PIECE OF SHIT!"

While he was beating the poor boy, Yang simply watches while laughing at how stupid the boy looked. She has done these type of things before and has gotten away with it.

After sometime Tai stops beating him then drags him upstairs and throws him into his room.

Tai: "Why did we ever adopt you, you were the worst mistake we ever made!"

After he said that he slams the door and locks it from the outside. The little boy sits there crying in pain from the beating he just receive.

The little guy crawled to his bed, crying from the pain as he crawled onto the mattress, he then cries himself to sleep.

Timeskip

I woke up to see that it was already midnight time, I must have passed out from the beating, sleeping does make me feel better sometimes. It helps me try to forget about the pain.

Slowly I sat up on my bed, my room was cold but I didn't mind the cold, I actually like the cold, the cold never bothers me it makes me feel better. For some reason I'm the only one that actually likes the cold. Especially during the winter season.

I gently held my bruise face, my tears have already dried up now, my whole face was a huge mess now. Why does my family do this to me.

After what Tai said earlier I felt my whole world crumbling and guess I'm not related to Ruby and Yang after all. But why does that matter? So what I'm not blood related to them? I have done nothing wrong to them but they abuse me and neglect me.

What did I do to ever deserve this?

I laid back down, I started crying again from all the hate. Then I heard the door open. I didn't even bother looking to see who it was at the door.

???: "So you lied about your sister again"

???: "And you broke another plate again"

I recognize those voices. I turn my head to look to see two people standing at the door. It was my mother and Raven who came into my room. Their faces don't show any expression not even a little sympathy for me. I was still crying and summer walks towards me.

They both stood over me. I was scared of what they might do to me. I tried to call myself down but I couldn't from the way they are looking at me. Summer and Raven have a devilish smile on their face, knowing on what will happen next. I was about to cry from what was going.

They both laughed at how scared I was. Summer reach into her pocket and pull something out. I got a closer look at it, it was my necklace that I lost, she had this whole time, she was the one that took it from me.

Summer: "Looking for this?"

I was shocked that they had it the whole time.

Raven: "I wonder how much we can get from this?"

This made me cry even more as they turn their attention back to me.

Y/n: "P-Please d-don't h-hurt m-me." Try my best not to cry.

Summer: "Look at you, what are you gonna cry? I'll give you something to cry about you worthless excuse for a son!"

Raven grabs me and holds me in a tight hold where I couldn't break free while Summer wraps her hands around my throat and begins to choke me.

I couldn't breathe, I tried to get her hands to let go, but I wasn't strong enough to move her hands as she tightens her grip around my neck. I tried to break free from Ravens hold but she tightened her grip around me while Summer kept choking me to death.

Her grip on my neck gets more tighter to the point where I couldn't breathe at all. I hear Raven laughing from behind me while Summer strangled me

Y/n: "M-mommy..... P-Please...... S-stop"I begged her to stop.

I was begging for them to let me go.

I slowly reach up and placed one of my hands on her face slowly as I felt my life slipping away. All of a sudden, Summer let's go of my throat and Raven drops me to the floor.

They both looked shocked at what they did while I gasped for air. They were in pure shock at what they just did. Summer couldn't believe what she had just done. It took a second for me to fully be able to breathe normally and I started fully crying again in pain. Summer looks at Raven as she looks at her.

Summer: "What have we done?"

Summer POV

I look down at Y/n as he cries in pain while holding his neck. I was completely shocked at what I just did and what I was doing to him. I'm a horrible mother and this proves it. All he ever wanted was to be loved and all we did was treat him like crap. Not only did I treated him like garbage I also took something very precious from him.

We need to make it up to him. I got on my knees trying to reach for him.

Summer: "Y/n I'm so sorry I-"

Y/n: "Get away from me..."

He backs away from me in fear. Both me and Raven were shocked.

Summer: "Wha-"

Third Person POV

As Summer tries to reach for Y/n but he backs away from her. Summer and Raven flinch by what he said as he backed away from them.

Summer: "Baby I'm sorry-"

The scared boy still backs away from her. Then Raven slowly walks up to him to pick him up he still backs away from them.

Raven: "Y/n, come here let me help you"

He doesn't listen and backs away from her.

Y/n: "Leave me alone!"

Raven and summer flinch from him yelling at them. They have never heard him yell before. They tried again to get closer to him but they did not notice his hand started to glow.

Y/n POV

I tried to backed away from them but they kept getting closer. They try to apologize into me like it didn't happen. I feel anger inside me that I never felt and it was building up inside me. And now they're trying to help me now?

No I've had enough! I can't take it anymore.

Summer: "Y/n sweetie I'm sorry-"

Raven and summer tries to reaches out to me again but a blast of purple flames erupts from my hands.

Y/n: "I said leave me ALONE!"

Pushing them back and slamming against the wall. I looked down at my hands to see that they were glowing with a purple flame. I turned around to see that my door was open. Looking back to see that Summer had drop the my necklace when she hit the wall.

This was it I could leave. Quickly I grabbed my necklace and I ran out the door and ran down the stairs and up to the front door.

As soon as I reach the front door, I could hear Raven and summer running down the hallway. This was my only chance and I'm taking it. With that I open the door and slammed it behind me and ran as fast as I could into the woods. There was nothing I could take with me. But that wasn't important right now.

All that matters is that I was getting away and I was free.
