I check the time and see that school is gonna end soon. I start walking back home as if I was at school the whole day. As I get near my house I see other students from school, noticing that their coming back from school. I walk into my house and see my mom sitting at the table, holding the phone to her ear. I start to walk upstairs, but my mom calls me. "Juvia, can I talk with you" I roll my eyes at her and continue walking up, assuming she wants to talk about that boyfriend of hers. "Juvia, now!" She says angrily. I stop and turn back to go downstairs, realizing that this wasn't about Shein.

"So your school called" my mom says with a firm voice. I realize she got a call about me skipping school. "They told me that you weren't in school today, can you explain?". I stay quite and don't say anything. "Look, I know your upset about me dating Shein, but this is good for me. I can start a real family, I can be happy again, and I want you to be happy too, okay.
