-Grays POV-

I got ready and changed into my clothes for school. I was about to leave for school after leaving breakfast, but I felt like I forgot something. Luckily I remembered today was my date with Juvia and I grabbed my wallet before I left. I grabbed an extra shirt just in case as well and headed out.

-Juvias POV-

I woke up and got ready. I put my money in my bag for the carnival and grabbed a dress to change into after school. I sprayed perfume and went downstairs. I ate breakfast and left, before I did I told my mom I wouldn't be coming home till 5 PM. I then left and headed to school.

Once I got there I saw Lyon. I went up to him. "Hey Lyon what's up!' "Oh hey Juvia I'm good, you?" Lyon said as he closed his locker. "I'm great. So... What's your next class..." he stopped to think for a second. "Uhh I think history." "Oh I have Science next." We both frowned. "Oh. Well I actually have something to ask you" "What is it?". Lyon began asking his question when the pink haired girl, Sherry came. "Heyy what's up!" Lyon looked a bit annoyed. "Oh hey Sherry. What are you doing here?" She looked at him in a exciting way while Lyon looked exhausted. "Oh just came to talk to you." The bell rang and we all had to leave to our class. I wonder what Lyon had to say?

-Lyons POV-

Darn it Sherry! She interrupted me. She's my friend and all but sometimes she comes in the wrong moments. I really needed to ask Juvia something. Well guess I'll just have to do it another time. I sighed as I went off to History.

-Juvia POV-

I went to science and sat in my seat. The rest of the day dragged on. I waited to hear the bell ring hour after hour after hour.

*Time Skip*

Finally the school day came to an end and the last bell rang. Everyone rushed out the classroom and went to there lockers to get packed. I went to the library for tutoring. I found it weird today because I was going on a date with Gray after he teaches me. I got there and waited for Gray to come. "Hey Juvia..." I turned and saw Gray. "Oh hey." "Let's get started" I nodded my head and started working on the worksheets Gray gave me. It didn't feel as awkward as I thought it would be. Probably because we just got started right away. Eh. Oh well. I'll just continue with my worksheets.

-Grays POV-

I got to the library and saw Juvia. I stopped for a moment. What should I do to make this less awkward. I got it. Just act casual and normal like nothing's going on. "Hey Juvia..." Juvia turned and saw me. "Oh hey." Thank goodness the responded casually to. At least I made things less awkward. "Let's get started." She nodded her head and she did her worksheets while I finished my homework.

*Time Skip*

After an hour Juvia was able to finish 13 worksheets. "Ok your done for today." I told Juvia. She smiled and nodded. "Ok! See you in a bit." She then left. I then packed my things and went to the library bathroom. I took the extra shirt I put in my backpack and changed into. I put on my jacket and headed out. As I headed out I saw Juvia walk out of the girls bathroom. She changed into a dress with leggings. "Oh hey Juvia I was just about to head out." "Oh well since we're both ready might as well go there together." We both smiled and headed out together.

-Juvia's POV-

After an hour of worksheets I went to the girls bathroom and changed into a spring dress with a cardigan and leggings. I put my hair in high ponytail. I grabbed my backpack and headed out the girls bathroom. I saw Gray come out of the boys bathroom, I'm guessing he changed as well. He put on a different shirt. "Oh hey Juvia I was just about to head out." I smiled "Oh well since we're both ready might as well go there together." He nodded and we both headed out. "You look nice Juvia he scratched the back of his neck and blushed. I blushed to. "Thanks, you to." We both smiled and went to the carnival.

When we got there we got 20 free tickets to start with. "So where do you want to go first?" I looked around to see where the game with the water guns and the balloons where. There's a game that I've played ever since I was in elementary school. It's where you have water guns and you try to shoot it at moving balloons and try to pop them. I found it by the cotton candy stand. "Ohh let's go there!" I said excitedly.

We went to the booth and gave 5 tickets to the man in charge. I went up to one water gun and aimed. I was able to get 2 points. I had 10 rounds if I get 10 points I get to win a prize, and 10 tickets. I was really good at this game my whole life. I had a feeling I would do really well. I closed one eye trying to aim. I shot and got popped balloon. Gray saw me aim. He also closed one eye and aimed. He missed the balloon. "Haha" I laughed at him. He smiled at me. After 5 minutes I popped all balloons with a Gray only popping 2. I got my 10 tickets and Gray got his 2. "Wow that game is a lot harder than i thought." I smiled at him, "Haha, I've been playing since elementary school so I'm pretty good." The man in charge walked over to me with a cart. "You can choose from the prizes on this cart." The man walked away slowly back to his chair. I looked at everything there was. There were stuffed animals, art sets, candy, books, masks, and a bunch of other things. I remember the first day of 'tutoring' when Gray and I were getting to know each other better he said he loves to collect snow globes. I saw a snow globe of a blue dragon and the actual globe itself had a dragon on it too. Since he love snow globes I thought it would be

Nice if I gave it to him. It is our first date after all and it would be nice gift to give him. "Here, take this for yourself." I smiled at him. "What? You don't have to its your prize" "Don't worry, I know you like to collect snow globes, it's fine I'll probably win in another booth ok, take it." I handed him the snow globe. "Heh, thanks" he smiled back at me. "So where do you want to go next?" I looked around, "Hmm, I don't know, you choose." He looked around,"Ooh, there!" He pointed at the sand art.

*Time Skip*

After an hour we had bags with thinks in it like, prizes, t-shirts, posters, art that we made, and our tickets. We did so many things our hands were full. "I'm kind of hungry from all those games, wanna eat?" I asked with my stomach grumbling. "Yeah, me too, where do you want to eat?" I looked around and saw a hot dog cart. "Hot dogs?" He smiled. "I love hot dogs" we went to the cart and ate. After we ate hot dogs we went to get ice cream. Well I got ice cream, strawberry flavor. And I hope Ezra doesn't catch me eating it. Gray got a blue raspberry popsicle. We told each other jokes, laughed and just talked while eating our ice cream and popsicle. "There is a girls who likes to read, What is her name. She has a red dress, What is her name?" (Creds to illumilucy for the joke in her Riddles book check it out.) "Uhh, I don't know how am o supposed to know?" I thought about the answer, "What is her name." He chuckled. "Yeah I know what's the answer?" "What!" I was confused, "I said whats the answer!" "Her name is what!" I thought for a second. "Ohhhhh , hahaha I didn't even get that haha!" We both started laughing. We both finished our ice cream and popsicle and walked around. "Today was fun." I said smiling at Gray. "Yeah I had fun too" we walked to the sidewalk and started walking back to the library. I could tell Gray was trying to hold my hand but was too shy. I giggled. I then took his hand and held it so he didn't need to feel awkward. "There, now you don't have to worry about being slick" we both laughed, "Haha, your really funny than I thought you were before, I'm glad I asked you in this date." I smiled, "I'm glad I went on this date." I put my head on his shoulder while walking and we talked on the way to the library.

-Lyons POV-

I heard about a carnival happening so I went to it with Sherry, cause she begged to go with me. I was planning to go with Juvia and ask her on a second date. When I got there I saw Juvia with another boy, who looked like Gray. She was holding his hand and her head was on his shoulder. I think they were on a date. I sighed seeing that Juvia wasn't interested in me.
