That morning I got up, it was late. I woke up at 12:00 pm. I needed to get ready fast so I don't become late! I then quickly brushed my teeth, combed my hair, and ate my cereal for breakfast. I was going ice skating so I had to pick the perfect outfit. I picked out my light blue long sleeve and my light brown button up coat with black leggings and light pink lace up boots. I went to my piggy bank and took out a 50 dollar bill for getting in, rental ice skating boots, and any snacks we might want from the food booth. I went down stairs and got my hat and gloves. I was ready. I headed outside and walked to the ice skating rink.

When I got there I was so relived! It was Lyon, and the time was 1:57. I came in time! "Nice to see you here! You look beautiful:)" I blushed. It's been a while since someone's said that to me. It's been forever since someone actually meant it. "Thanks, you look nice too." We went into the rink and we went to the guy behind the counter. "One men's size 9 and..." Lyon said, showing he wanted me to say my foot size. "Women's size 6" the man gave us our shoes and we put them on. We put our stuff in the locker we got for the time were here.

We went on the ice and I almost slipped. I forgot almost very thing about ice skating. "Woah!" I almost fell again. "Do you know how to skate?" He asked "Well, I used to know. I haven't skated in a while so yeah." He took his hand out to me "Here let me help you." I grabbed his is hand and he pulled me to the center of the rink. "You're doing great. Just remember stay steady, try to balance. Just as your going glide left to right smoothly like this" he went behind me and put his hands above my waist. "Try to skate and I'll show you how you glide." I went and he moved me slowly side to side. "Great. Now just try to balance." He went in front of me and took my hands. He went backwards and pulled me so I would go and help me balance. "Good! Now try on your own." He let me go and I skated. I fell here and there but I knew how to skate now. We ice skates together and had a lot of fun. Lyon taught me a trick where I lift my leg up and then spin round and round but I keep going forward at the same time. After we ice skated we got out the rink and we went to the food booth. We ordered an eight slice pizza, some cokes, and for after the pizza we got some snow cones. After we ate we left the rink and he walked me back home. After we hung out, I learned a lot about Lyon, his family, childhood stories, favorite things. He's a really nice guy. I'm really glad I became friends with him, I hope our friendship will stay like that:)!
