Sky POV

"Mama." (y/n) said happily as he waddled over to me, "Very good sweetie!" I said happily as I picked him up. Its been a year and a half since Jack and Lucy broke up and as she said she done dating. She pretty much just stays home with (y/n), not that I mind since that meant that I didn't have to pay for daycare. Unfortunately, we're running out of money. Fast.  Before this wasn't a problem since Lucy had an actual job...until she didn't. "Lucy, sweetheart as your friend I have to tell you...you need to get a job." I said, "What?! I thought we were well into the black!" Lucy said, "We were...ten months ago. Between rent, food, (y/n) and other expenses, we are now deep in the red. I will tell you now I am NOT doing some dumb two broke girls and a baby thing." I said, "So what do you just want me to go crawling back to my pervy old boss?!" She said, "Look sweetie I get it. That old pervert deserves a spike of his own blood through his well I won't go into details but you know what I mean. But it's no worse than what (y/n) does to you on a daily basis." I said, "Valid point, BUT (y/n) is a baby and my dear sweet nephew, so he gets a bit of wiggle room." She said, "Ok, but I only get paid when I go out on assignment and if you haven't noticed for the past six months I've been here!" I said, "I get it, I need to get a new job. But who's going to watch (y/n) when you're out?" She asked, "I'll just take him with me, he's MY baby after all." I said, "But h...he needs me!" She said, "I'm not saying he doesn't, but he needs his auntie Lu Lu to have a job and help out around here when his Mama can't. He's relying on you to keep him in his home. To keep him safe." I said, "I know what you're doing, and it's working." She said.

Lucy POV

"Ok, sweetie Auntie Lucy has to go do this job interview." I said as I tickled him, "I'm going to need you to be a good boy for a bit ok." I said.

Ten minutes later

"AND SO'S YOUR DAD!" I yelled as (y/n) and I got kicked out of the building, "Well sweetie that could have gone better. Let's get the rest of these interviews done and over with. Hopefully, the rest of these go better than that one. I can't believe that man would say something like that about a baby!" I said as we walked away.

"Hey you two how did the interviews go?" Sky asked, "Terribly! No one really took me seriously since (y/n) was with me, and a few of them even called me a slut behind my back!" I said, "That bad hugh? Well, maybe tomorrow you can try a few more places. I have nothing going on tomorrow so (y/n) will stay here with me." She said, "Alright, I'll give it another shot." I said.

Sky POV

"Alright sweetie it's just the two of us today," I said as I bounced (y/n) in my arms as I walked around the apartment when there was a knock at the door, "Let's go see who's at the door," I said as I walked over to the door. "Hel...low, what are you doing here Oz." I said, "Miss Grey..." Ozpin began to say, "Drake." I said, "I beg your pardon?" He said, "My name I changed it, it's Skyler Drake now. Since I've made more than a few enemies when I was an assassin, so after (y/n) here was born I decided to change my last name from Grey to Drake." I said, "W...What exactly do you want, when I asked about any missions available you said that there weren't any." I said, "Something came up and I need your specific...skill sets." He said, "Come in." I said.

"No way." I said, "But Miss Drake." Ozpin said, "No Oz, I am not going to a bandit camp where they somehow domesticated grimm!" I said, "I thought you might say that, so I took the liberty of preparing you an upfront offer." He said as he slid me a slip of paper, "T...That's a...That's a lot of zeros." I said.

"Sky?" A woman said, "Hi Amelia, Terra." I said, "So he talked you into coming too hugh." Amelia said as she hugged me, "Sky what are you hiding?" Terra asked, "What I'm not hiding anything!" I lied, "Then what's with the bag?" She said, "Ok you got me." I said as I pulled (y/n)'s stroller out from behind a pillar, "Awww! Isn't he just precious!" Amelia said as (y/n) chewed on his fingers.

"Amelia stop playing with the baby, we have a job to do." Terra said, "No no, Amelia can you watch him for me." I said, "With pleasure!" Amelia said happily, "And where are you going?" Terra asked, "Mommy's gonna go to work." I said as I walked away.

"Ok let's get this over with, it's almost time for my son's nap and I'd rather not have Amelia put him down." I said as a bunch of grimm and bandits surrounded me, "Now who's first?" I said as one attempted to rush at me only to have his own blood shoot out of his arms and legs anchoring him in place as it hardened, "You're all lucky I've stopped killing." I said as a few more attempted to attack me only to meet the same fate as their friend.

"That wasn't so hard." I said as I looked at my handy work, suddenly they all dropped dead all at once, "Pathetic. To think that they were all beaten by an unarmed woman." A man said, "Just this once I'll make an exception." I said as I made several spiked of blood impale him as I walked away.
